Had a reservation and they did not show! I made a reservation last Wednesday for Saturday august 15 for a 5 seater taxivan to pick up me and 4 other girls from my friends pool party bachelorette party at 8:30pm... making reservation was smooth and easy- they said to pay on Saturday! I called back on Friday to confirm, all was set! We did a taxi reservation due to the party being in a rural area that does not typically have ubers available. Well, Saturday at 8:20 we are all packed and cleaned up, ready to picked up and go home. No one... at 8:45 I called and dispatch put me on hold for 5 mins .... I hung up and called back. He apologized for the hold and said your driver is not answering his phone. No apologies or explanations or attempts at offering solutions. When I ask for these things - sorry I dont know what you want me to do. He could be on his way... or maybe he isnt. How do I know? Whats the point of making a rservation? We wait a few mins longer... call dispatch again. Same thing. Miracualously there was an uber with 20 mins wait time who took us home. How unprofessional and what a poor business model. Will never use them again!
Ordered a cab to the airport. Shows up twenty minutes late and didn’t wear a mask. First time in my life I didn’t give a tip. Had a similar experience a few years ago with them arriving about 40 minutes late when I was going to the airport. First time I had booked a day ahead, this time about 5 hours ahead.
Driver did not show up. I called 30 minutes after the scheduled time, and was told that there was a mistake and he went to different city. The dispatcher asked for my address again. Then, driver called me, spoke rudely and stated the was doing me a favor as he just received the call to pick me up. I called Americab for told what their driver said. I was told that Hey! He is coming to get you so stop tripping and wasting my time. I had enough of their nonsense at this point. I just drove to the airport myself and gave my car to valet for parking. I am very disappointed with this cab company AND Cleveland Hopkins International Airport to list this cab company on their website for cab service.
I called about 7 hours in advance. They were 15 minutes late, so I called, and nobody was even en route to my pick up location. The person on the phone was somewhat rude when I called the 2nd time.I had to drive my friend to a bus station downtown on 2 hours of sleep in my pajamas so he wouldnt miss his bus. If you have any need to be on time, dont call this company.
I called on Saturday morning for a Sunday pickup for 3.45am for an early flight. No show at 3.45 so called to see if they were just running late. Yes, they said. Called again at 4am. Dispatcher put me on hold to check then disconnected. This repeated three times! Finally, I told them don’t put me on hold. They said they had no drivers in my area. I told them I called the day prior to reserve a pick up. He had the nerve to tell me “that was yesterday - it’s not today”. So, clearly planning ahead and making a reservation doesn’t matter to Americab just as customer service does not.Do not use them. Lyft saved the day for me! Got to the airport barely with enough time THANKS to LYFT!!!
The person who answered the phone was courteous and helpful. He said a text would be sent to me 15 minutes before the cab arrived and, if not received, to call him. I did get the text telling me the cab was on the way and the driver then later called me to tell me the time when he would arrive. He again called me from the bottom of my driveway and walked up and carried a heavy suitcase and put it in the cab and drove my guest safely to the airport. This was one of the worst snowy days of a Cleveland winter when there would have been a good excuse for poor service, but it was fine.
Was in Ohio on business, called this can company to puck me up and take me to airport, I called at 9am for pu at 11am, my flight was at 1:40pm. No one showed up, I called 4 times was told after many hang ups on me that they had no cab available. I ended up having to park my car at airport and catch my flight, later had to arrange for my car to be picked up by family. It cost me $40 in car parking fees.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, EVER!Rude, not professional, lie to customers, hang up on customers, dont show up! Just use Uber!
Im a shift lead at a 24 hour pharmacy. Called 3 times to get a cab took until the third call back to find out there was no cabs available. When initially they said they are sending first available and it be about an hour. I used my phone to call for these gentlemen. One was a leukemia patient. I understand it was 3 am but to be hung up before you could ask questions was rude. They did not have their own phones. I use Uber and this is why cab are fading out. Poor customer service.
Terrible ! The worst cab ever!Do not call them! They never show up.I had a very important exam and called them one they in advance but the cab never showed up and I was about to miss my exam. Dispatcher is very rude and aggresave .she always hang up the phon and never is responsible.If you need a cab never call them!It was not my first experince with them! They are always like this!
Worst cab company ever! The dispatcher was very rude, she hung up on me twice. I waited an hour for the cab, which did not show up. Called back and they were still trying to find me a cab, and didnt know how long it would take. Waiting for the cab made me late for work. So i called Southwest Cab Co. They made my horrible morning a little better.
Americab was a great place to work overall.You have headaches but what job doesnt. Donna , Lisa , and Joe are awesome. Thank yall for everything. The low reviews are not fair. Understand this is a stressful field to work in and cabs are not always available at the time you need. And if the dispatchers are rude its because of people talking crazy to these ladies. And its more of that than good calls.
My mom had a dr. appt. and receives rides through her insurance. Americab sent a young lady by the name of Alexis. She picked us up an hour before the appointment unlike most transportation services either their there 2 hours before appointment or late. Her cab was clean and smell very nice, she was also playing calm meditation music which i enjoyed. Very friendly and just and all around good vibe. It took her 20 minutes to pick us up once we informed her that we were done!! She gave us her business card and I used her again for a ride to the airport she was at my house at 4:30 am as I requested...
This cab Company is the worst I have ever dealt with. I had a cab scheduled for a morning pick-up to take me to the airport for my honeymoon... I called and confirmed the cab twice the day before to ensure it was coming. The cab never showed up - when I called the dispatched (who couldnt have been more rude) she said they were working on it. 30 minutes later my fiance had to drive to airport ourselves and self-park. We ended up paying $200 in parking for a two week vacation, where a cab wouldve cost us about $25. Please take my advice and never use this cab company!
Service was on time and driver was attentive and helpful as I was picked up at Metro Hospital to return to my car. The driver, Dave was a careful driver during the height of rush hour from the west side to the east.A very good experience. I will use Americab from now on.

2022-07-18Ive used these guys nonstop for the past 2 months now moving multiple shipments of people. Theyve always been there. Ive switched things last minute on them constantly yet theyre always there. Cannot recommend enough.

2022-04-17Had one of the drivers overreacting and throwing hands up and mouthing nonsense to me over a misunderstanding at an intersection. Crazy reaction, however, management did seem sincere in taking my complaint by phone.

2022-05-27Do not use this company if you actually need to get anywhere. Scheduled a reservation, no driver ever showed, and when I called to check on the status they said no reservation had been made.

2021-08-09Went to the website to book a cab for my flight. The website said to download the app to book. Did so and no one showed up. Finally I called and the receptionist said oh the app doesnt work like it was the most common knowledge ever and I was stupid to even think to do that. Had to scramble to find something else so I didnt miss my flight. Thank God for uber.Awful service. Give someone else your business.

2021-12-19I requested a cab via their web site for the next day, very early in the morning, and received a call several hours later to confirm. The cab wad on time. Excellent service, very easy to schedule.

2021-11-05Absolutely has to be the worst cab service they dont call or show up at all!!! Called back multiple times to be told they were waiting on a cab. No one calls or shows at all. Dont bother wasting your time!!

2021-11-20We booked a cab for 4am to the airport and it never showed up. Called them to confirm the night before and they said we were good to go. Next morning….no cab.
