They did not know what they were doing at all. First time I went there they opened a hour late. Second time I was there for almost 30 minutes while they looked for orders that was already picked up. I finally figured that out and said something to them and got the one order I came for. SMH! Will never use that location again.
I love that I can order something the night before and pick it up the very next day at no extra charge. I wish parking was more convenient... The spaces out front seem to always be filled with people who arent just popping into Amazon and going, but instead by people lingering at other businesses. The staff has always been helpful and astonishingly efficient.
Great spot to pick up or drop off your Amazon packages but it is especially great if you work, live, or travel downtown Cleveland at all. Its in a decent not to crowded area, so parking is somewhat easy. Just keep a quarter for the meter. The staff here has always been great and they greet you as soon as you step through the threshold and ask you what you need.Highly recommend if you cant wait for a package and need it shipped there for pickup. And it makes returns very easy too
My experience was great after I entered the building. However, there is absolutely no parking and the location is terrible. I drove around for 20 minutes looking for a spot to park only to return to my car with $25 ticket on the window. It would be nice if it was in a freestanding building that will allow you to park, get out and pick up your package stress free!
Fantastic! Super easy pickup or returns. Park weekdays after 6:30pm or anytime weekends are free on metered street. You set a pickup and they assign an in-store unit to have the item ready. Returns -- just bring the item! You can complete the return & print and attach everything in-store. No box or packaging needed! Super-easy. Enjoy!
Its pretty much self service if you know what youre doing and can be in and out very quickly if youre either picking up or returning. Signs set up around the room make the process pretty self-explanatory but if youre having trouble you can just ring the bell.and someone will be out to help, and so far in my experience theyve all been great and helpful. Even during this pandemic theyve soldierd on so major props to them. Picking up stuff is pretty automated; just scan a qr code from your delivery notice and get your package from a locker there. And if youre returning anything you can get all your supplies to ship it there (labels, packing containers, etc) and just drop it in the return slot. So yeah, want a safe alternative delivery/return spot for Amazon goods, its a pretty solid spot. Just remember to bring your phone or remember your account info.
Finding a location with convenient parking is the responsibility of the business even if the government screws everyone with poorly managed public streets. There are two parking spots in front and itd be great if Amazon can reserve those for its customers with a 15 min limit. Actually picking up a package takes 20 seconds after you receive the code, so you can leave your car with hazard lights on at your own risk.
Once in the store, the staff are friendly and picking up a package is nothing short of magical. Just scan a barcode on your phone and a door pops open with your order inside. How cool is that?!Knowing theres also now a physical store to return items is great too.The cherry on top though is free next day pickup. I ordered a phone case on Friday and picked it up hours later on Saturday. Amazing! The only issue as people are saying is parking is very limited. I wouldnt hold this again any other business but the experience inside the store is so fast and seamless, we spent more time finding a spot and walking than actually getting the package. Fortunately we parked on the street for free (got lucky) but you might have to pay $2-$3 to park your car.Ill definitely be using this service again but itd be good to consider day and time of day you may be picking up to avoid inconvenience from the parking.
Delivery driver dishonest on my delivery order indicating several deliveries have been handed directly to a resident when they are delivered, this is false and a lie, I would have been the person the deliveries would have been handed to and no deliveries have been directly handed to me, the drivers have not seen me to hand deliveries to me outside or at the door. I will also be calling Amazon to make a complaint.
Parking sucks. Their is street parking out front, i think 3 spots? But you have to come before rush hour or later in the evening. They close at 9pm i believe. They also have tape inside you can use which was great for me because i was in a rush and forgot to grab mine. Free for amazon returns if you cant afford to pay to ship back.
Pretty awesome for returns. So convenient, and your money will be refunded quicker instead of mailing it back yourself. I dont live downtown, but I also see how awesome this would be for people with weird mailbox areas or locked doors in their buildings. Keeps your packages safe.
Our church is right around the corner, so this is very convenient for us. If you have to drive in, it might not be quite as nice. But I love picking up packages on my own time and not worrying that theyre sitting on our front step. If you need to return something to Amazon, this is super easy and convenient!!
I was there on a Saturday so luckily there is a meter parking available about 2 blocks away. The process of picking up packages is a breeze if you used the amazon app. Actually you may just park outside the store considering that you could be out in a minute if you don’t want to check what are inside the box. However, I would still prefer home delivery than picking up from this locker unless your study or work place is within walking distance and your package is not heavy or bulky.
Wont be doing Amazon pickup again... I checked the tracking information and my item arrived at 2:52am this morning. I was out and about at around 2pm that day but hadnt received a confirmation email. I figured I would stop in and see what was up.My package was AT the facility, but hadnt been scanned yet. No problem... Ill wait a bit. The guy said probably 30 minutes to an hour. Fine, Ill get lunch. While getting lunch, I pulled up the Amazon app and checked with a customer support person. Apparently there was some delay with my package and it wouldnt be available until tomorrow? If I wanted to wait until tomorrow I would have just went with standard Prime shipping. NOW they cant even change my package to ship to my apartment just across town.No explanation of what happened. No explanation why I cant pick up my package thats been there for 12+ hours. Nothing...
An Amazon truck driver hit my car Tuesday 2/2 and no one has reached out to me in regards to any repairs to car or getting a rental. They keep giving me the run around Ive called Amazon directly numerous times and the insurance company the driver provided and nothing has been don, no one has called me and i still have I huge dent in my car from the Amazon driver hitting MY back car door
The people here are really kind. Picking up my package was simple and easy. The only thing I don’t like & others have mentioned this as well is the parking. I had to park all the way around the corner and it was raining. A place like this really needs a big parking lot right in front.
Really limited parking. If youre just doing a return and your package is already done up it is as simple as running in, chucking it through the marked slot, and running out again. Theres a printing station for return labels if you cant do it yourself and tape for the box when youre done.
Clerks are ALWAYS helpful. Sometimes they are so laid back you may second guess if your return will actually get returned. But they always do. Your in and out. Side note there are three parking spacing in front of the store. Mostly two cars take up the space. So if you go there dont be like most drivers and take up too much parking space. Leave room for a third car!
This is an amazing place to pick up packages. The workers are very kind and knowledgeable they will get your package out of the back or you can get them out of the provided lockers. This just depends on you and when you checked in. Parking can be a pain but it is downtown Cleveland so that should be expected
Pickup went somewhat smoothly. Im not from the downtown area so Im not really familiar with the area where the facility is at. They need to update their damn address, Google maps give you a weird way of getting there, I had to get out of my car , walk around ask people where to find it before I finally found it. Lol of course I felt dumb when I found the store with a big as Amazon sign on top
Better to get delivered to your office. Luckily, they are open on Sunday and I could snag a parking spot right in front of the door. I can get pkg sent to the apt. bldg. where I work - I just wanted to try this for something different. I got a confirmation code on my laptop, and I guess because I didnt have my phone and couldnt get it from a locker, the young clerk was a bit put out that he actually had to do some work. His overall demeanor was lazy. I wasnt greeted, I wasnt thanked, just here you go and he went again to the back room. Hey, sorry to bother you. But Im not a student... Im an older lady who gives and therefore appreciates good customer service. But I got my packages and next time will just have them shipped to my workplace.
Great location and very secure place to pick up packages. I would give it a five star but the parking isnt the best. The best place to park is across Euclid Ave in CSU Lot 21 (pay lot: minimum cost is 2.25 for an hour). The staff on site is also helpful with whatever questions you have about anything.
Pro tip: confirm your pickup 15 minutes before arriving. This has changed dramatically my shopping experience. This is one of the most convenient methods Amazon has provided. Now we have the flexibility of getting it shipped directly to home, but for people like myself, who live in an apartment with less than ideal office open hours, this has made life a breeze.12/22/17: Got a little bit of a line (I was in front) due to the Christmas season. I apparently had a difficult to fill item. Be prepared for this.
A clean, sparse store with a few lockers to pick up Amazon packages and a desk where you can drop off packages. I have only used this location to drop off a package with an already printed label, but my experience was positive and the staff at the counter were very courteous.
The parking really sucks. There is ALWAYS someone parked right out front of the entrance to this place in a spot thats clearly for people going into the Amazon store, and theyre clearly not in the Amazon store. I get that a lot of people in the area probably walk to the store, but there really needs to be an extension to the three parking spaces that are in front of the store.
Parking is a little rough, but it is convenient in the aspect you can get your packages earlier than expected and Im also an Amazon Prime member. No interaction is needed with customer service just make sure you bring your smartphone to scan and unlock the locker where your packages will be held
The attendant was a negative terrible person concerned with her phone activities. You cant call the place just some foreigners outsourced American jobs bc amazon preys on china and cheap labor to exploit Americans and getting very rich off it needless to say their descriptions of my product i bought and waited for were false and lies. People can out any info on there without reprimand
I was here to drop off a package I was returning. There are kiosks there to start or continue your return, and I assume you can print the return label there. They were a bit confusing, because I already did the return process online and printed the label. The lady working there was nice and clarified that since I already had the label printed I could just drop it in the returns hole in the wall.
Nice store but the location is for the benefit of students, not everyone else in the County. Unfortunately they are let down by Amazon Logistics, Amazons own delivery firm. Be aware that, even if Amazon tell you your parcel was delivered to their store, it could still be days away from arriving.
This place is the best thing since sliced bread!! I love that I can order something fairly late in the evening and just pick it up the next day at this Amazon location. The app on your phone provides you with a bar code, you scan the barcode at the indicated kiosk and a door pops open with your treasure inside. Returns are easy-peezy -> print out the barcoded label, hand it to the staff person, and keep it moving! If youer lucky there will be parking available right in front of the location. Otherwise, Ive had to hunt a bit for parking... but that is an inconvenience Ill risk to get my items a day early!!
I guess I cant really rate my experience with Amazon because I couldnt even find a parking space downtown. The CSU commencement ceremony and an indians game was going on and there was absolutely no parking. The only parking that was open was too far away (under normal circumstances I would park far away and walk, but I was in a time crunch which is why I chose to have the package sent there) or it would have cost me $20. I ended up just going home without my package because I had to be at work soon after. I get that they wanted a convenient location (as far as distance goes) for everyone, but unless youre live, work, happen to be downtown, its not really convenient as even on a normal day, its hard to find parking in that area or even downtown for that matter. I wont be using this service again.
Dont bother! I tried to use store pick up to expedite my purchase even though it meant going out of my way to get an item that could have been dropped on my doorstep. I had to cancel the delivery and have it shipped to my house since it was still not there 2 days after promised. Poor customer service from Amazon once again. So here it is 5 days after originallty promised and Im still waiting for it to be delivered and its now late again. GET IT TOGETHER AMAZON!
So efficient. Amazon informs you visit email that your merchandise is ready for pickup. Upon arrival, click the link in the email to generate a barcode, scan it at the appropriate kiosk, and wait for a locker to pop open with your package. Although you probably wont need assistance, a friendly associate is there to help.
Okay I really loved visiting the downtown Cleveland location the only problem I have is the parking situation is horrible I will never come back down there again if I can save myself the headache other than that the location downtown was wonderful the staff person that was there when I visit it I believe her name was Tasha she was so pleasant and so helpful and she helped me get my packages back and labeled and everything I really really really loved her and with the exception of the parking the place is wonderful
I am a Prime member which comes with free 2 day shipping. Paid extra for one day shipping to location because it was one day ship and I had business in town that day. It has now been 3 days since I placed my Order and I still have not received my package. Went to the store to seek clarification and was told that nothing could be done until i got the email stating it had arrived there. No attempt of support or even an apology. Will not be using this service again. USPS is more reliable, and that is sad.
As a Prime Member, I chose this pickup option because it was supposed to rain on my delivery day, and Ive had really bad experiences with big shipping boxes and UPS home delivery. The downtown University District location is GREAT for Cleveland State Unis , but really poor for everybody else, even downtown residents, because theres almost no adjacent parking. Only three street spots in front on Euclid Avenue, no handicapped parking, or curb cuts, and the PAID lots all cost more than full-price shipping. After checking in at kiosk with my e-mail address, I still had to show matching photo ID, which really sucks if someone else is going to help you out by pickup your item. (a bit paranoid by my thinking)Doubt Id bother returning to this downtown location when my local Whole Foods Amazon lockers are 10-miles closer, with abundant free parking.
The attendant seemed annoyed at being asked about how it worked. This service is a fantastic new thing, and so when on my first time using it the attendant did not look up and instead just gave a robot response with directions, it was a missed opportunity to score some awesome points. He also didnt respond when I wished him a nice day. Zero response. Maybe he was sleepy or hungover and was trying to keep it together, instead of just being rude, but either way it was not optimal. It could have been an ushering in of a new age for me! An occasion I would look back on as my first time using the Amazon Pickup Store, and remember how amazing and great it was! Now it has stinky attitude smeared all over it instead.
Was super easy. Street parking on east 21st, or behind the store on Swingos Ct. Walked in. Logged in, printed the label. Realized I forgot a box and the cashier said it was ok that they had one. Way easier than trying to do returns from home. Very happy. Plus a great cleveland sign!
I like this place.Order online and pick up 2 days later. But I have had some problems with the person behind the counter not putting his phone down 😡.Its very annoying when the person who is paid to help you wont put their phone down for a minute to help a paying customer
This location is very centrally located HOWEVER parking is a nightmare and I really feel that tje the Amazon delivery drivers should drop off and pick up in back not in front as my experience was a delivery van taking up 2 of the 3 parking spots for this location for 36mins...the service at this location is very helpful and am happy with service here but not with parking
Worst experience ever solely due to bad bad awful location of this place because there’s absolutely no parking. Everyone knows downtown parking is sparse to begin but having this place on your list to-do list is beyond ridiculous with its 2 parking spots in front. Yes thats it. Sure they advertise side street and backlot parking but who wants to lug bags and boxes O stuff that far?? in snow ice or rain?? and in unfamiliar quasi-sketchy neighborhood. And most importantly, being one street away from Wolstein Center and across street from CSU campus, if either are having an event forget it you’ll NEVER find a parking spot. So this is a major Fail Amazon. With all the available buildings in Cleveland, Ohio why would you pick this small inconvenient location? They dont even have automatic entrance doors. For a shipping/pick-up business you cant even hold the doors open for customers with handful of boxes? Just disappointing. Although the concept of this pickup location sounds easy, I’ll never go back there.

2022-06-26They changed the others of opening from 9am to 10am without notice. Plus a couple days ago I got there at 10:15am and they were not even open yet. I sat there for over an hour and NOTHING. AMAZON doesnt care about customer service. They are now to large of a company to make customer service a priority.

2022-06-23I waited an hour and a half still not open. They post online 9am and in-store 10am. Its 11:30am and they are still not open. I would give them no stars if the rating system will permit.

2022-05-30Friendly staff but when will they get a parking lot? Someone is always parked there because they share a space with another business

2021-11-23Awesome, takes like 3 seconds to drop a package off. This location has 3 parking spaces out front great for people that live downtown and can walk, but not so great if you are driving alone without some to move the vehicle or drop you off and circle around to get you

2022-03-18Checked Google for opening time, showed 9 am got there 8:55, 9:30 with a line of people waiting behind me still not open. Called Amazon who didnt know why it wasnt open when listed as open on the site. The hub is already in an inconvenient area then to not be open is BAD business.

2022-03-08The customer service was top notch. The only negative is that it’s downtown and there is very little parking although I found a spot right away.

2022-06-14Website and door sign says that it should be opened until 7 pm. I get there at 5:30 to 6:00 pm and it is already closed. It happened 3 times to me now. So shameful!

2022-05-19Got here at 9:15 when their hours list them as open but the door was locked and the lights were off. No sign was left to explain why they weren’t open during their stated times

2022-06-09It was our first time ever using it and the lady was pretty helpful.
