My kids always have a blast here. this park is clean safe and the people are friendly.
Well-groomed, modern park. Modern playground for the kids, and grills, shelters, and sand volleyball for adults. Nice place to spend a lazy afternoon, take a walk, or pick up a game of volleyball.
Decent park, the amenities were adequate and seemed relatively well-maintained.
This is a beautiful park with lots of open space if you want to play a game or toss a frisbee, it also has a great playground that would be fun for kids of many ages. Very clean every time Ive been here also.
This is a really nice park. Lots of different things to do for kids. The playset is large with a good variety. There are swings and a separate sand area as well. There is also a large open grass field that will be good for throwing a ball or playing frisbee. We will be coming back for sure.
So much fun for the whole family. My kids love it here the play sets are awesome.

Huge park with a great playground. Also has a great sand area to play in, just bring your own sand toys.
Great park. Has volleyball court , basketball court , a big lot to play soccer or have a picnic , you can play baseball , the kids have a lot of games and also sand. The restrooms are nice , the place for the concert it’s also really big and if front of it there’s a small water “fall” and I think there’s fishes.
At the park with my grandsons. Exerting their energy so they can sleep good.
Its a nice playground with multiple things. Only drawback is the restrooms are closed post October. Thats strange. Didnt see any renovations near by. So its a bit difficult for the kids esp in winter

Its a great place to bring your kids. Unfortunately the bathrooms dont open untill mid April ! I cant take my toddler to the bathroom in a pot ta potty.
Great variety of games to play for all kid sizes, there is a sandbox, volleyball net, a lot of slides and swings and the people who normally come here are generally nice and nice kids :) love taking my toddlers here.
Theres a wide variety of things to do for kids old and young. Slides, swings, climbing equipment, sandbox, sitting areas, electronic games, hideouts! You name it, they have it! Easily one of my favorite parks.
Great park. Plenty of green space. It is right beside a small dam that my kids loved. The park has a nice sand area for kids in the shade, so bring sand toys. The playground is large with a variety of spaces that are good for toddlers, preschoolers, elementary age kids. They have a spiderweb rope area to climb, train structures for toddlers, and swings for all. A shelter house is nearby as well.

Best Park Ive gone to! So much to do! My kids have a blast and I like how everything is close and so many options they dont get bored coming here
As big as this playground is, its easy to track the kids which makes it ideal for an afternoon picnic. The giant trees provide great shade on hot days and the shelter is a great place for a party, and needs reserved.
Love the choo-choo and swings. Great for big kids. A few things for the little guys. My little one enjoyed the passing firetruck and ambulance because of the station across the street. Shaded parking! Lots of big trees around. We went at 10 am and the playground was not shaded but I imagine later in the day it probably is.
Lots of big, beautiful trees for shade. Benches for parents to sit on.The kids can climb, play in the train, slide on the many slides, play in the sand pit, play basketball. Theres baseball fields, an outdoor stage, a picnic shelter.Beautiful park.
Among the best public parks in the northeast Columbus area.Playground area offers options for younger children all the way up to teenagers (or even athletic adults)There are fields that would work well for a pickup game of softball, soccer, or kickball, and there is a shelter that could be used to host a birthday party or a small-mid-sized family reunion.This park is in close proximity to the Alum Creek bike path as well as the Amphitheatre.
Great place for kids of all ages to play. Love the climbing area for older kids, and the train for the younger ones. And of course they also have a traditional playground and swings.

Not very good park for younger children of the age 1-4. There is a small area thats appropriate for younger children. 3 Baby swings and 4 adult swings. Train set play area for younger kids aged 1-4 years old. Big spider web attraction climb on jungle gym for bigger kids.
Great park! Playgrounds for both older and younger kids. Plenty of bench seating. Paths for biking and running.
Nice park with lots of kids enjoying. It is a nice place where you can take your kids as well. Your kids will play and enjoy more when they see other kids playing
Very cool day. We brought our babies here to play. The kiddie playground has a padded floor. The mulch is rubber so your children dont get hurt. How thoughtful of the parks and recreation department. I love this place.
Oh my goodness this park is so clean. My son loved it he was 3 at the time . They have a sand box and so many areas for the younger kids to play. The ground in the play area is padded so no stuffed up knees. Plenty of shade and lots of seats. This is a beautiful park your family will love it.
The best park in my opinion.
Awesome park! Lots of shade and plenty of picnic tables. They have fun a fun train for the little ones to play in and a crazy light game for the bigger ones. There is a little amphitheatre as well and the Sunday evenings weve gone there has been really great live music.
This place is a gem, my son was so joyful that he got to pretend to be spiderman on a life size web. 😂😊
This is one of my daughters favorite parks. Theres a lot to do and large structures to climb on. Great for all ages!
Lots of play space. Has a giant sand area. Restrooms nearby are always clean. Definitely a nice shaded park to go to.
My grandson enjoyed the playground equipment to no end ! He wasnt ready to leave but dinner time and a nap on the ride home was calling his name.

Love this park. Very nice playground for kids and tons of areas for sports. It has open space, a baseball field, volleyball court, basketball court, a shelter with picnic tables and a good sized sandbox. There are bathrooms as well and a path to walk along.
This was a great park! The kids loved the playground portion, especially the climbing net in the middle. I was impressed by the grounds - very well kept with lots of space to run around, stroll, or kick a ball around. There was also a baseball diamond, a sand volleyball pit, and a huge sandbox area. The playground had a great rubbery ground (looked like imitation wood chips but they were all stuck together) that was perfect for playing on without getting hurt or getting stuff stuck in shoes.My only complaint - I wish there were more benches around the playground! My husband and I ended up sitting on the ground because the very few benches were already in use.
There is something for everyone. The playground was busy, but there was roomfor all the kids. Lots of shade, good parking. Picnic areas were plentiful. It was neat and clean. An amphitheater is available as well as shelter houses.
Great concert. Nice breeze. Lots of shade. No trash on the ground but trash cans were overflowing before show at 530.

If we moved to Columbus, I’d head for this community to be by the park! Gorgeous, well kept, full amenities. We were looking for a place to stop to let the little ones play and this was perfect. Later in the day, after 2:30, puts playground in the shade , which helped on this 89 degree day. Interesting, well kept equipment, huge sandbox, electronic physical game that grabbed the interest of our gamer! There’s a beautiful amphitheater, huge shelter, great bathrooms, ball diamond, and enough room to fly kites, frisbee, etc. All bordered by Alum Creek. Be aware, there’s a bit of a walk down a short steep hill and over grass from your car if you need to haul ice chests. And no path for wheelchairs to shelter area that we could see.
This park has a volleyball court basketball baseball/softball diamond. Huge play area for kids, and a magnificent staff to keep it clean!!! The shelter area looks larger then most of the ones Ive seen. Highly recommend!!!
First time being here since they redid the park and I love it! I especially love the rubber mulch. Very toddler friendly!
One of our absolute favorite parks in Westerville. Has something to do for all ages. My boys are 15, 12 & 6.. and they can all find something to do here!
We love this playground. There are so many different types of play equipment for all different ages. Our only complaint would be that the swings were set way too high.mayne that was intentional so they couldnt get on them without an adult but overall a great time and lots of shade!
My Dad used to bring us to this park when we were kids!! I love how they have redone it. Im not sure when they did it either lol but we absolutely love this park.
Its a really nice park for events but not a lot of parking for large events. I get that there are some people that just want to take their kids to the play ground, but when there is an all day festival going on please dont get nasty with the people who are monitoring the parking to ensure handicapped parking and large equipment drop off goes smoothly.
I go to Alum creek state park often. We just love it. Both the below dam recreational area & the beach are great. The place has children rides, barbecue grill, restroom. Fishing is very popular there. Take long walks at the top of the dam.

Excellent park for family to relax as well as experience wild life. Definitely children friendly. There is a wonderful life size spider web (an excellent play on the monkey bars). We had a great time!!!

I really like this park. Its really nice and relaxing. Great playgound for the kids and large grassy areas to play sports. There are also walking trails that head to downtown westerville. The only reason i didnt give it 5 stars was due to the fact that the bathrooms were closed when we went. So every time one of the kids had to go we had to leave.

Nice area, beautiful park. Usually pretty busy. Always kind people here. I feel very comfortable bringing my niece to this park.
A wonderful shaded park with plenty of fun adventures for our little ones. Great field and court sport areas. Sandbox. Also occasional live entertainment.
One of the best community parks anywhere. The recently redone playground is great for all ages and theres a large picnic pavilion and ball field too. The amphitheater is a great summer venue for the Sun and Wed night shows. And the hill is a popular place for winter sledding too.

Great place for kids. Cars were broken into during our two play time with cousins. Damaged locks on four cars. All Honda Models.

Very well kept park. good tree cover and excellent kids play equipment. nearly always busy so park across the street at Astronauts Grove if you cant find anything adjacent.
Took the grandkids here and they loved it. I use to take my kids here and they loved it also. Very impressed with how it has improved over the years. Nothing bad to say about it.
Quaint little park with a good size playground for little ones to play. Convenient and plenty of space for all sorts of activities.

Great park. Kids love it. It has all sorts of climbing equipment, a giant sand box and basketball courts. It has shelter houses that can be for large parties and a grill.
The children enjoyedball the park had to offer. It was clean and a family friendly atmosphere. We felt safe and didnt have to worry about unwanted behavior from others in the park.
Great playground and theres plenty of shade for those hot summer days. Ther kids absolutely love the park.

My daughter had a blast! Nice shade trees and benches for the parents or caretakers to sit at and watch their kids play.
EXTREME CAUTION: Found 2 active patches of Angel of Death AKA Destroying Angel mushrooms in the tree line near the playground.

Theres JAZZ going on in the park. Urban Jazz Coalition played 6/30 and it was packed. U have to park a block or two away. Nice equipment in the park for the kids to play and learn.
Great place for small children. This park is for 2-5 yr olds but sometimes I take my 7 yr old and he has a great time!

This park has always been one of our favorites. Especially when it’s 90 degree outside and humid, can’t think of a better park with nice shade and lots to offer.
Great place for the kids. There are always other children there for my son to play with, and a good time is had by all.

My 2 year old is obsessed with the small train with a slide she stayed almost 2 hours last week and did not want to leave .
I love this trail. It is my favorite in the Columbus area and I live right next to the Olentangy Trail. It starts at Westerville and you can stay on the path all the way to Pickerington. It is very scenic with little interruptions by traiffic.
Boys love this playground. Big spacious and plenty to do. Basketball courts also near by, along with fields and gazebo.

Almost run over by a bicyclist on the walking path. The rope jungle gym is an accident waiting to happen...especially with a lot of kids on it...and kids always want to clime it to the top.Decided not to go back.

2021-10-27This place is just fantastic to go with your family 👪 especially children there is lots of play attraction for kids ..theater for show music sometimes...basketball stadium and volleyball too....clean restroom..the other side you have flow with falls ...I like this space is shaded too and good for relaxing mind .

2022-04-12My kids love this park.... However they used to have a separate play set for younger kids but they removed it. So know you have kids that are my sons age (hes 12) on the same play set as toddlers. Thats just not smart and kinda unsafe. Bigger kids dont always watch were they are going and parents dont always tell their kids to watch out for little ones. I love the park but hate the new set-up.

2022-05-11This is a fantastic park. There are play structures for all ages, I even saw some dads playing on the big kid stuff. There are fields, basketball courts, a sandpit and restroom facilities so this place has you covered.

2021-03-23Nice shelter house with electrical power and a fireplace. Large , clean picnic tables. Sand volleyball, baseball field, basketball hoops, and a very nice playground for kids with a wide range of activities. Even fishing nearby (careful of the small dam!) Only PortaPotties when we were there, but restrooms open later in the season.

2019-09-08Caters to all ages, very fun park for kids and adults. Restrooms are available, so is a picnic area. Theres a basketball section, volleyball section, a decent amount of land to kick a ball, a sandpit and a nice trail for biking or walking.
