I was very anxious about going to the dentist since it had been several years since my last appointment but I was greeted by a professional and kind staff. Dr. Cheng is extremely proficient at her job and even stayed late in order to finish work with me (her last patient of the day). Easily the best dental experience Ive had and I absolutely recommend Dr. Cheng to anyone in need of dental work!On top of that, the facility was clean, adhered to social distancing protocols, and had hand sanitizer available for patients/visitors. Felt safe in the environment.
I was honestly amazed and satisfied about my visit with them. I hadn’t been to the dentist in 9 years and was pretty nervous but everyone was very friendly and made me feel welcome. From the second I walked in Autumn & Kristy were professional and friendly. Everyone seemed to know what they were doing between the hygienists to the dentist. I honestly could not have been more satisfied with everyone! Thanks to you all!!!
I had the best experience at Alpha Dental in Ashland, Ohio. The staff was exceptional and killed me with kindness during my visit. I felt like I was welcomed from the time I got there until the time I left. Autumn and Kristy were phenomenal and got me set up for my next appointment. I was very pleased with my experience at Alpha Dental today.
I recently had all my tops and all my bottoms except the front six pulled. I want to thank the staff for a great set of new dentures, I truly appreciated there meticulous approach to my extraction to ensure I didnt have to go back for fragment removal or missed work that may have needed to be done to continue through the process .Dr. consulted with me to make sure alignment and color matched existing and overall treated me very professionally ,thank you all so much for giving me my smile back.
I havent seen a dentist in several years and I found out about this office. All of the staff is very friendly, they were helpful with getting everything I needed to have done and were proactive getting things completed. The front desk girls are very friendly and helpful. A special thanks to Kristy for getting me in very quickly and being so helpful great customer service!
Worst experience ever.I made the call to schedule my appointment and not only did they put me on hold for almost 40 minutes but I was talking to a guy name Rene and I remember because he even spelled it out and he continued to put me on hold every time the phone will ring. Don’t get me wrong I was okay the first two calls but he put me in hold 5 times. That only makes it seem they don’t care to interrupt the conversation. At the end we made the appointment. On my scheduling day I was told that I had to pay for my extractions because my Insurance didn’t covered them. My previous dentist extracted two tooth and I was not charged for extraction or sedation. I called my insurance and they told me the same thing that my insurance will cover it. But according to them I was to pay $200 for sedation and $600 for extraction which is a Medicaid patient. That I know Medicaid covers those extractions. I later called the office again to let them know I spoked to my insurance and this time I talked to a guy name Ramin. He once again told me that I owed and that I could do payment plans. So that’s when I ask to talk to a representative he transfer me to Rene again and I stated what my insurance told me. We even did a three way called and my insurance told his that my extraction were covered and sedation. That the authorization they sent for extraction were approved. And sedation was approved too. I had to escalate this issue to my insurance because they were trying to make me pay for something that I didn’t have to pay. Rene later told me he would not charge me but if the insurance didn’t pay I would get a bill. . Alpha dental is scam. They want to get you to pay money even when the insurance covers your procedures. I was told that you don’t charge a Medicaid patient. On my surgery day to extract my teeth The office lady’s said I had a balance and good thing I had told my daughter what had happen my daughter spoked her mind to them the front desk didn’t know what to say and got in the phone she later gave me the phone and I talked to a guy named david he was the one that told me I didn’t owe anything. According to him the reason they put a balance was because the authorizations were still pending but my insurance approving it I had a zero balance. and when I was leaving with my daughter they once again tried to charge me again . Will not be coming here no more they are just worried about getting money from Medicaid patients. I should’ve just hanged up when they kept putting me on hold. Worst experience ever. They only one that helped me was David. If I were to come back I’ll just schedule my appointment with and would only want him to deal with my billing. The rest they need to get trained again.
This office is a joke. My cap came off last Wednesday so I immediately called to schedule an appointment to have it fixed. The receptionist scheduled me for the following a Monday. A couple of minutes after our call ended, she called me back and advised that they were actually closed that Monday for Labor Day so rescheduled me for the next day, Tuesday at 2pm. I showed up for my appointment 15 mins early and upon check in, the receptionist told me that my appointment was actually for the following day (Wednesday) at 1:30. I am 100% sure they messed up. I didn’t say anything at the time and just planned on going the following day. I ended up not being able to find a babysitter, since we had arranged our work week and my husbands job around having his day off yesterday (Tuesday) to accommodate my dentist appointment! I called 3 hours before my appointment to reschedule and the man that answered the phone put me on a long hold and came back on the line to say that they won’t be rescheduling me at all since they just implemented a new policy as of today, unless given 2 hours notice, patients can/will be terminated. I called 3 hours before my scheduled appointment! Which was actually yesterday in the first place! So rude and inconsiderate. I wouldn’t have made this review based on only my experience yesterday but to try to terminate me as a patient after a screw up on their part is crazy. I wouldn’t go here if you have a job or a schedule to maintain.
I’ll never go anywhere else!! The receptionist’s Autumn and Kristy made me feel completely at ease and comfortable. I was very scared to have work done but my hygienist and the doctor went above and beyond in making me feel safe and taken care of! I love my new dentist!!!
Alpha Dental is the best dentist ever. They get you cleaned up and everything. They get you in as fast as possible, they are patient with you, very nice, and everything. Kristy is super nice as well she will set you up with appointments for the next time to come in and everything just as well Autumn they are both very good at what they do!! Kristy and Autumn are both very pretty and so are the other dentists:) Hope you guys have a good Christmas may god bless you with everything. keep doing what you guys enjoy what you girls love to do. Never let anyone tell you any different. I wish you gurls the best at your job!! i dont know if it shows up on your guys devices or not but this is from Morgan Spears!!
Alpha Dental had been more than helpful, friendly, and have done a wonderful job on my teeth. I lost some molars and had to get partials. they have been great in the whole experience for me and even got excited and happy for me that I would have my partials and feel more confident in my smile now :) Megan and Autumn at the front desk are always friendly and helpful and do a wonderful job!!! I have no complaints about Alpha Dental :)
I started going here around the beginning of the year and a few months ago I had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Ming Yu.She did an excellent job. Removed my two bottom ones with ease and then my one top one. Gave a prescription for pain meds for the first couple days. And a couple days after when I had pain my lower jaw and could feel something sharp in the hole left behind. My one phone call and they called me in that very same day. She removed the little pieces of bone residue, which is extremely common to have little fragments resurface! And cleaned my sockets out and gave me a prescription for an oral cleanser to flush out my sockets with to keep them clean until they healed up.No problems whatsoever after that! They healed extremely quickly and stopped causing pain after the first 3 days. Now I schedule regular cleaning appointments and love this place! I would never go anywhere else! Extremely friendly staff and great employees.
My visit to alpha dental could not have been better. Adrianne the hygienist brought me back for my appointment right away. She was very through, and nice. She also explained my treatment to me very well. She was gentle and quick as well. The office director Melania went over all the finances with me in depth. She answered any questions I had. She made me feel very comfortable about my future work, and also offered financing options. Alpha dental was a great experience. A+++!
Dr. Cheng is a wonderful dentist, with phenomenal bedside manner. Shes very gentle, and is always sure to inform the patient of exactly what she will be doing, as well as asking throughout procedures if there is too much pain. The ladies behind the desk, Autumn, and Im not sure of the others name, are very polite, courteous, and helpful. Alpha Dental is definitely the best dental office Ive visited in my 36 years.
Loved the short amount of time i had with these people. They made me feel comfortable the whole time. Just got 6 teeth removed on 10/25/18, they did a fantastic job i hardly feeling pain today. 10/26/18.Cant remember the surgeons name, but thank you. You did an amazing job. And i 10/10 reccomend this dentist office.
Wonderful office, wonderful staff! Autumn and Kristy are such great ladies! Dr. Cheng did an extraction on me... I was so beyond nervous I was shaking; she calmed me right now! I’m used to being on the assistant side of dentistry, so this was a change today. However, I will be going back!
I had my bottom wisdom teeth out Thursday afternoon with Dr. Chang. They were amazing. They numbed me and Dr. Chang explained everything as she was going which I loved. Everyone was friendly and attentive and exceeded my expectations. Big thank you to kristy and autumn for taking my multiple calls and answering questions.
I highly recommend Alpha dental. Im 28 years old and just went through the denture process...I couldnt be more pleased!! The staff is so inviting, caring, respectful, and educated. Autumn and Kristy are always so helpful. Everyone needs a dentist! Make Alpha yours! The girls are awesome!
I had to have a great deal of teeth pulled and a partial put in place. Everyone was great, from Dr. Cheng and Carol in the actual room, to the ladies at the front desk and the office manager, it was a great experience - something I dont say about dental work too often. I will go back, thanks!
My experience as a client at Alpha Dental has been and continues to be AMAZING to say the least ! My teeth were horrible, but thanks to Alpha Dental i can finally smile again! they were great to me, Especially the Front desk ladies Autumn & Megan ! The work ethic there is Remarkable and the work they have done on my teeth is as well ! Im so extremely grateful for what Alpha dental has done for me !!!!!
I went to Alpha Dental to have my 4 wisdom teeth and 2 molars removed yesterday. I was scared and nervous but I am thankful that I went to this dentist office. I was in and out in an hour and a half. It wouldnt have taken so long if it wasnt for my gag reflex but they were very accommodating, giving me breaks and water when I needed it, and never once complained. Dr. Cheng made sure I was numb and feeling okay the entire time. I was what mattered. She did an amazing job. Today I have light swelling but I am in no pain what so ever. All of the staff is very accommodating and nice as well. I would gladly recommend this place to anyone.
Have been going here for a year or so. The staff is friendly and dentist is average. However, I have a very busy work schedule and was told today that I could no longer make future appointments due to rescheduling twice. Seems like they should be a little more understanding that some people have hectic work schedules and important things come up.
If this place could receive zero stars I would have put zero. Yes you have to reschedule an appointment when you are Ill with infection and have a knee replacement. Apparently they do not know the health risk of doing oral surgery on a patient with a knee replacement and the fact they can kill the patient by doing so. So because you reschedule until the illness is over you have to be talked to as if you do not know how many times you have rescheduled. Nope do not speak to a customer you are making money off of like that. Poor customer service!!!#
Well, when I first visited this location I was nervous because Im sure Im not the only one who doesnt like strangers poking around in their mouths. But, from the get go Autumn greeted me and made me feel very comfortable about my visit. I have been going to Ashland Dental for years now and I have a great smile thanks to them and all of their staff!
I have been seeing Dr. Cheng since May for some pretty extensive dental work. My teeth are very poor quality due to 3 back to back pregnancies and the various medications I have been on since a young age. I honestly was expecting she would pull all my teeth and give me dentures or partials, but she surprised me by wanting to save them all but 2. I left yesterday with the last of my porcelain crowns and I literally am SO in love with the way my teeth look , it makes me emotional. For most of my life I have been ashamed and self conscious about my teeth, making sure to cover my smile or mouth when eating. And now, I simply do not have to anymore. I would reccomend Dr. Cheng a million times over! Please do not base your review on time management of the receptionists or how long your appointments take. She sees a lot of patients daily, but she does amazing work. Ill never go anywhere else so long she is employed by Alpha Dental in Ashland!
Alpha Dental in Ashland is the best dentist office to go to. They explained everything thoroughly and the receptionists and all the staff members are extremely nice. They did the best job cleaning my teeth than any other dentist office Ive been to. I highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you Alpha Dental!!
I hate going to the dentist but the experience at Alpha Dental Ashland changed everything. It was my first visit here and I wouldnt go anywhere else. As soon as I walked in, I was welcomed by the girls at the front desk and the manager Melaina with smiles. Only after a short wait, I was asked to take the x-ray and meet Dr. Kit Yee Cheng. She clearly explained what treatment is needed. I had to do two fillings and Dr. Cheng numbed me up really well that I couldnt even feel it when it happened. She got them done smoothly within a timely manner and I didnt feel any pain. I was happy and surprised at how efficient she was able to do this. Overall the office is clean and the staff is very nice and friendly. I will definitely come back in the near future. Thank you very much Alpha Dental and Dr. Cheng!
❌ All I can say is, YIKES.After my old dentist no longer accepted my insurance, I had to find a new dental team to see every 6 months.Unfortunately, I stumbled across Alpha Dental Ashland.I specifically called to schedule a new patient exam + a cleaning. Kindly, Kristy from the front desk scheduled my appointment. (She was great.)Yikes #1: When I arrived a few weeks later for my appointment, I showed up 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork, as requested. My paperwork was filled out promptly by the time my appointment was supposed to begin. Then, 45 minutes later, they called my name. (Ive been getting my teeth cleaned my entire life and never waited more than 10 minutes for a scheduled appointment.)Yikes #2: Within 15 minutes, my new patient exam was complete and the doctor came in. Then, in less than 3 minutes, she had opened my mouth and written me a prescription for a new toothpaste. (It felt like she was pushing me to a partner company toothpaste without explaining WHY I needed it.)Yikes #3: After giving me a prescription, she said, Kristy will get a cleaning scheduled upfront if thats what you want. Perplexed, I asked, Why am I not getting it now? Thats what I scheduled with you guys and I waited 45 minutes in the lobby to get one.Rushing to the doctors rescue, another girl said, We only do an exam the first time, then based on that exam, we do a cleaning. Frustrated, I replied, That was never once communicated with me. In fact, when your paperwork asked for my reason for this visit, I wrote down: cleaning.Yikes #4: On my way out, I told myself I would NOT be getting my teeth cleaned there if I had to schedule a cleaning. But as I walked to the front desk, another lady came running up behind me. I can take you actually. That way you dont need to come back. My apologies. Just sit here for a minute and Ill do your cleaning.25 minutes later of sitting, a completely different girl came to get me and clean my teeth. Yikes, I thought to myself. Hopefully they redeem themselves during the cleaning.Yikes #5: NOPE. It was the most painful cleaning of my life. And I floss regularly and brush my teeth 2x daily. By the time I left, I felt like a piranha had been let loose in my mouth. In fact, as I leaned over to spit, all that came out was a pool of blood.Yikes #5.5: During the cleaning, another girl poked her head in and said, at first, I thought this guy had a mouth guard on. I was wrong! You should come see this! Excited, my hygienist said, I will in a bit!I wonder what theyll say about me when I leave, I thought to myself. At long last, my excruciating 2 hour and 15-minute dental visit was over.Worst experience at a dentist, ever.
This place is a joke. I called to make a new patient appointment. They said no problem we can get you in first thing Monday morning. I was ecstatic since I was in some pretty major pain from a broken tooth. The next day I wake up to two different messages saying I needed to reschedule because they forgot that they wouldnt be open Monday. I was then informed that the soonest they could see me would be the following Wednesday. When I expressed my unhappiness about the situation the receptionist just repeated that I could be seen Wednesday. I said you know this is really unacceptable, you guys made the mistake, I think you should try to squeeze me in sooner. Again she repeated that they could see me Wednesday. I said ok fine and hung up. I ended up going to another dentist that was able to see me right away and I got my broken tooth taken care of.Also, I would like to point out that most of the reviews for this place appear to be fake or paid for, because all they mention are how great the receptionists are, almost no one mentions the dentist that took care of them or the names of the hygienist. Buyer beware this place is a complete joke.
I think they have a new Dentist, if you havent been since, both my spouse and I have had great experiences here, we were apprehensive after 2 other horror dental experiences over the last 2 years at 2 other denisits offices. The entire staff is courteous and pleasant, & helpful. The Dr. is very gentle & caring. His bedside maner is fantastic. The hygentist and entire staff is outstanding. My spouse had several extractions done. I had a few fillings done and am returning for an extraction and a tooth to be capped. They except my insurance and laid out a treatment plan during my 1st visit. I would Highly recommend them to anyone wanting a perfect dental experience. I love the Dr. & his entire staff.
I wish I could give it negative 5 stars. Never go here if you need anything serious done. They might be able to do cleanings and minor stuff ok but they totally butchered an impacted upper molar on me. They got one out but the other one was going to be difficult and they still said they would be able to do it. They lied. For 2 hours they were drilling, scraping, prying around in my mouth with no anesthesia, and to make matters worse I cant take any sort of opioid pain pills (not their fault just saying). Then they just gave up and left a half sawed off tooth and a gaping hole in my jawbone and said Id have to go somewhere else. I had blood pouring out of my mouth and 10/10 pain for a whole day before I found a real oral surgeon who thankfully got me in ASAP and finished the extraction. He said they made it even more difficult to remove because of the drilling and stuff they did and he was lucky to get it out. Alpha dental seemed like a shady operation to begin with. They werent very professional, it didnt seem like a sanitary environment, the people in the office were talking about people who kept calling off or something. I should have just paid the money for a real oral surgeon to begin with. The surgeon I went to in order to fix the job Alpha did couldnt believe how bad they destroyed my mouth and how they just left it like that and told me to leave. That was on Thursday morning, it is now Sunday morning and the pain is just now getting under control enough to where I can eat some stuff. My face is still swollen up like I went 10 rounds with 1990 Mike Tyson. I had my bottom 2 wisdom teeth cut out about 12 years ago and I thought that was bad. This was totally inhumane and I wouldnt wish it on my worst enemy. I dare someone from their office to try and refute this review or even reply to it unless its with an apology because you know what you did. The oral surgeon who finished the job took x Rays before he did anything to my mouth that shows exactly what you did the day before, so dont try to deny it. I hope you only billed my insurance for the 1 tooth you managed to get out, and dont you dare send me a bill because you dont deserve anything after what you did to me. So yea basically, if you need impacted wisdom teeth removed DONT GO HERE and save yourself the agony.I would recommend CLE Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery instead if you need an oral surgeon. Dr. Danko was amazing and he felt so bad for me after everything I went through he gave me a huge discount.
Going off of my experience walking in the door. Daughter is a new Paitent this is our first visit. One young lady was on a call another lady sat on the computer didn’t acknowledge us nothing act like we didn’t just walk in. I signed the sign in seat and had a seat. I wanted to take my child and walk out. I will be saying something about this to the oral surgeon that runs this practice!!!
Ok this is going to be a story, Dr.Chang is absolutely amazing!!!! I have been to several dentists for treatment and preventative measures but no dentist has come close to how well Dr.Chang treated me and handled my extraction. Ive always been scared of the dentist mainly bc its teeth!!! I mean no one wants mouth pain but neglecting cavity or what not can lead to abscess and that my friends is not fun at all!!! Today I was almost ready to pass out to the thought of my tooth being pulled while awake but I was completely numb and she was so fast I heard a little noise and bam! She was done absolutely amazing I was waiting for the none cracking and shaking of hands trying to pull my tooth out and none of that happened. I look forward to coming back to see her for my next visits! Good job Doc!!!!!
Will not be going back. Staff is rude as all hell. They speak rudely about people right after getting off of the phone with them, and I just had some broad rudely hang up the telephone on me after I tried to address my concerns about my heart health and what anesthesia could do. Forgive me, but I thought doctors were supposed to care about their patients? They need new attitudes. Highly recommend going elsewhere.
They spent way too long on my teeth and every time I went in they kept messing up my teeth. If I just skipped this annual check up my teeth would be in better shape. I went in with no cavities but they said they wanted to “refill” some old work. They drilled sooo many holes in my head I was in tears. Even today I have two holes in my teeth they drilled and never filled. Would never recommend!!
I went to Ashland to help my mouth pain. I was told I needed 2 teeth pulled, 2 caps & 8 fillings. 4 appointments total. Ok fine. The first appointment was the extractions. I wasnt given a choice of anesthesia, only given novocaine. So i apprehensively agreed. I was given the anesthesia and waited 10 minutes for it to take effect. I noticed my right side wasnt allthe way numb, and i told the Dr. She decided to extract anyway. It hurt like h###. I let out a startling scream. I didnt expect that amount of pain. She seemed angry & told me i cant yell like that. I apologized, and she tried to extract again, and the pain was more severe. She gave me more novocaine. I was very frightened at that point, and the same thing happened the 2nd time, third time, and 4th time. At time #4 the initial novocaine had worn off. Each time novocaine was administered I was left alone for 10 minutes, choking on my own blood & mucus. Finally I was shaking, in tears, and in so much pain that they told me i could leave & made another appointment almost 3 weeks away. All while having this tooth, partially extracted, in an enormous amount of pain. I am afraid of my next few appointments. I had given trust to the Dr. and had given her the benefit of the doubt that it would be okay. I wasnt assuming I would have a pleasant experience, but i was definitely not expecting a tortuous one. Unfortunately for me, this is the only place that takes my insurance. I still have 4 more appointments to go, ( since the extractions were not completed on the 1st one). I am so very scared. I would very much like to find another place that accepts my insurance (caresource) to have oral surgery, but i have had no luck yet in my search.EDIT: It is the 21st of November today. I had made all the preparations to have my remaining tooth extracted. I had to rush to get there from a different county. However, once I arrived, the receptionist told me to leave because of my previous review. They had filled my spot a few weeks prior. Apparently, one may not leave a negative review, (even if the review is 100% accurate) or else they will deny you further services. I was told that they had been trying to call me but my phone number oddly had changed in their computer. They had my phone number correct originally because I had been receiving texts reminding me of my upcoming appointments, but the number they tried to reach me was incorrect. The last 2 digits of my phone number had reversed, therefore they were unable to reach me to alert me that I had been dropped as a patient. I am unsure how it was slightly changed, but it had been. So i made the arrangements regardless of being under a huge amount of stress with my home life already. I had to have a driver, so after being put under i wouldnt be allowed to drive home. As my driver & I exited the building, my driver said this is bulls***. I agree though. It was. However, upon hearing that, one of the receptionists condescendingly said, I appreciate it if you dont cuss or I will call the police. I was embarrassed, I wasted time and gasoline (it is quite a commute to their office.) -not to mention immense pain since my last appointment - i have had hospital visits because the remaining tooth that was halfway extracted had abscessed a few times. I finally and miraculously had it free from infection by the time of my appointment so the conditions were perfect to have the remaining extraction. I was turned away because I alerted the public about my experience.
This place is amazing and got me in super quick and is getting my teeth taken care of and I can’t express how thankful I am for this. Autumn and Kristy are very friendly and kind and have amazing customer service skills. I will definitely being referring people to these guys thats for sure
They were nice at a all times, but I think they did too much to my mouth at once. Now I cant eat anything but mechanical soft foods, and even then they cant be hot or cold because it causes me too much pain. The dentist I got for my fillings was very rough, and after a month Im still experiencing tons of pain from all the fillings. I cant afford to have them fixed because now my insurance is maxed out. It really sucks to have to deal with this, I wish I never would have gone.
I have to say that my mother was so happy with them that she convinced me to go there when i was having some major tooth and TMJ pain. I dont have dental insurance so i paid with a check. I paid over $300 for 1 visit which is ok I expected it. What I didnt expect was how poorly I was treated. I felt like the dentist had poor bedside manners and the amount of pain i was in she acted like i was being ridiculous and needed to calm down. I had to go in twice because of the pain. I wanted an antibiotic but she said she couldnt help me till I got more xrays. First off I couldnt pay for it because I gave her all my money already, second I have TMJ and because of her dental treatment I couldnt open my mouth. I was in a lot of pain! All I wanted was an antibiotic but she wouldnt help me at all. She made me feel like poor white trash and i will never recommend them or go to them ever again!
So i would of had to wait to be put to sleep.Instead I just got numbed and got all 4 wisdom teeth pulled. They sent me home with prescriptions 4 hours later Im still bleeding (its normal for like 24hrs)I have NO PAIN MEDS! SERIOUSLY!my apt was at 12 I was gone around 1:20.They closed at 5pm and still didnt call in my script.Im in so much pain!
I was all ready to have found a new dentist. Alas, however, it was not to be at Alpha Dental. However, this review is a mixed bag, for I did, indeed, feel the dentist I saw there, Dr. Cheng, was appropriately concerned over the lesion on my tongue. She did NOT, however, discuss the complete series of X-rays they had just taken. She referred me for a pathology report - in other words a biopsy - for that lesion but her choice was not in my network of providers, which was not at all Dr. Cheng’s fault. About two weeks later a couple teeth on one side of my mouth became so achy I finally couldn’t bear to chew. I called Alpha Dental, and I asked Dr. Cheng if there was anything in those X-rays I should know about. And her answer still floors me. She replied, yes, that I have two abscessed teeth. My thought ever since has been, well, when were you going to tell me? But not wanting to be confrontational, and knowing myself what was needed (I have RNs in the family, though common sense alone is enough to know), I just said, “Don’t you think I need an antibiotic?” And she agreed and ordered one. But her failure to tell me at the time the X-rays were taken caused me to lose all faith in her. It also caused me unnecessary pain and suffering. The treatment for the abscessed teeth she failed to tell me about also came at my prompting, the need for an antibiotic. I simply can not in good conscience recommend Alpha Dental to anyone.
Heard good things about alpha dental, so I decided to give it a try! Made an appointment and on my way their got lost. Melaina NofSinger was quick to my rescue with easy directions. The good things I heard were true they fixed my teeth that other dentist said couldnt! Thanks to alpha dental I get to keep my teeth other dentist said I couldntThanks so much Donald Hamilton
Kristy. Was awesome shes so nice and sweet !! I like the office they are very professional and on top of their game !! The office is very clean and as of right now its filled with xmas stuff which helps the grinch like people get into the xmas spirit ..i feel its a perfect location .we felt very comfortable and the environment is happy and all smiles..i will be here with all my children !!!the music is awesome too
I give no stars. I made my appt and had to wait a month and a week for a consult. No confirmation phone call, then when I called to verify they messed me up with another patient. I had x-ray from dr but they couldnt find the fax that my dentist sent over, because it was over a month, thats not my fault. I called my dentist to have them fax something and they are on vacation. I could not be seen. Really. The dentist name is on the x-ray, they cant look at tooth and see it needs extracted. So Ive wasted over a month waiting on a stupid consult that they wont even do. I asked to be rescheduled, said I need to call back when my dentist is in the office. Really. What a waste. Im not going to reschedule. Ill find someone thats competent enough to read an cray and look at my tooth to know what needs done.
I can honestly say this is the worst dentist i have been to. They use a nicer newer office and bogus lies to get people in the door. I came in for a cleaning and they forced all of this other stuff to bill me and my insurance, then said they dont have enough time to do a cleaning.. hmm, well thats whay my appointment was for, thanks for wasting my time and money, alpha dental llc. They rarely answer the phone, they wont return messages, and the staff including the manager is beyond rude and clearly not knowledgeable in the field of densitry let alone customer service. Operation is owned by a wealthy tycoon in Texas. . after reading newer reviews , its very obvious that they are fake. yes its a fact, all of the positive reviews written are completely fake and are being reported for violation of Google policy. its pretty bad when a business cleans up their act by writing fake positive reviews.
My husband had a broken tooth that the ladys at the front desk bragged their dentist could pull it all and after over $300 still failed to get it all, after them giving me attitude my husband decided to walk out and we will never go back. also their site advertises free x-rays ya right they charged us stated it was a ITT issue that had not been updated what a bunch of hogwash this place is a big joke and falsely advertises!
I am so pleased with my experience with Ashlands Alpha Dental...Dr.Ming Yu is absolutely wonderful and the staff is phenomenal always friendly and pleasant. They are extremely professional and explain everything in detail. I would recommend Ashlands Alpha Dental to anyone and have already and have had all great feedback.
After years and years of pain and infection i went to alpha dental, and for the first time in years , the pain is gone, the team at alpha dental was fabulous and i cant wait to see them again soon to be fitted for my dentures, Call Autumn or Kristy to get help from some wonderful people!!
I showed up for my surgery and they were CLOSED! They called and confirmed my appointment the day before at 4:30 PM also! They absolutely NEVER return your phone calls! This is the worst business on the planet, if you could consider this even a business. They are unorganized, unfriendly, and untrustworthy. I would AVOID this dentist/surgeon...
I had a crown put on my front tooth. On a Friday and it fell off Saturday morning the next day. I called them and they got me in Monday morning. The same tooth fell of on Monday the same day all with in a hour. Now I got to wait tell Thursday to get it fixed again. Not a very good job.
I have a special needs son and i told them about his condition when making the apt. I asked if they could handle him and they said it wouldnt be a problem. My son does not like to be touched by strangers and she approached him one time on each side and he turned away from her and then she refused to see him said hed have to go somewhere where special needs kids so and referred him. She didnt even try. I told them on the phone this would happen and they would have to make him do what they needed to do cuz i needed them to be able to fill out his preschool paper. So aggravating!!!!!! We wont be going back. Any of us not just him. She acted as if he was contagious.
Had 1 son in for root canal 2 weeks ago. They called the morning of his appt to have me take him 1hr earlier than reg appt time. I did.. we sat there for an hour PAST the reg appt time. When i asked them why.. they forgot he was sittin there..Now Im here today.. with other son for him to get 3 fillings.. appt was 1.. I was a bit early but here it is 1:30 and he is still waiting. 2 ppl came in after us and got here 5 til 1 and both have been called back already. So I sat here reading reviews and I swear if thwy mess up on my sons teeth they will see a psycho theyve never seen!! My son is only 13.the health dept dentist is lookin better by the second..
Was recommended by a friend and have to say I wasn’t disappointed.. they don’t try to rip you off , are very kind and actually spend the time to make sure you understand everything.. Autumn was great to talk to over the phone and got me a quick appointment! Defiantly the place to go!
1st appt at 1PM waited till 1:30 no hope of getting in soon, I live half hour away need to be home to get the kids from school, this was just a council, they need to tell you on the phone that they cant get you in on time! I will find somewhere else, quit over scheduling

2022-07-19Very good care to be had here. Dr. Roh is skilled and knowledgeable, and his people are well selected for a comfortable (as much as can be had in the chair) experience. All the procedures I endured here were pain free and professional. I dont look forward to coming back but I will if I have to :). No offense, yall are awesome. Its clear that you care about doing a good job efficiently while maintaining patient comfort.

2021-02-20I love coming here the dentist is kind hearted and very detailed and explains things to the patient and the staff there is wonderful. To the young lady who helped me on February 18 2021. My battery died and my sister called in to see if anyone had any cables, I had just left from their office from getting my teeth worked on . And the young lady that did my teeth was on break or leaving but her and her boyfriend came around to help me . Thank you so much it warms my heart to know that their is good people out there and you go above taking care of your patient .

2020-12-09They are the best dentistry I have ever been to. They are so kind and understanding. I recently got my wisdom teeth out and it was so fast and smooth and there were no complications and I am healing very fast. I am so thankful, they are absolutely wonderful. I drove almost 2 hours just for this place and would 100% do it again.

2021-07-01I called 2 months ago, and before I set ANY appointment, I asked who I thought was the receptionist, (which was a call center later to find out) if they could pull a 6 year old tooth at the location and do fillings as I was being reffered to Akron which is over an hour away to have procedure done, I was trying to find somewhere closer who took my insurance.. I was assured they could. I set up an appointment, got there and receptionist was on the phone yelling at me asking me who had referred me and why exactly was I here? I calmly explained I wasnt referred and just needed fillings done and a tooth pulled for my son. They proceeded to take my son back did some x-rays which I tried getting previous dental place to send over, Alpha denied it. Dr. Looked in my sons mouth and said the one needed pulled they couldnt do it there, but they could do the fillings. They gave me 2 number to try to set up a surgery they made to sound would be easy. The first place never returned my calls, second wouldnt take my insurance. I called back to Alpha Dental, got another call center employee, I was leaving on vacation and wanted more antibiotic, call center person didnt know what antibiotic and told me I couldnt reach an actual receptionist to request it. However I went ahead and scheduled apt after we got back to have fillings done while I tried to figure out how to get this tooth pulled. My husband takes him to appointment for fillings. He signed a paper ok to do the procedure, he was back there all of 5 mins tops my son is brought back to my husband saying sorry we cant do anything, he wont open his mouth. They tried all of maybe 3 mins tops with walking time and referred me back to my original dentist. He has sat through 3 cap fillings with NO problems 2 years ago. Now through the last 6 months he has listened to dentists say we cant work on him without sedation because kids his age get scared. Maybe this is on the pediatric dentists who scare the child before they even start or try. I will NEVER recommend Alpha Dental to anyone. At least the other dentistry places were up front with me that they couldnt do the procedure in house and waste a bunch of time a frustration.

2019-12-16I had a molar extraction. The dentist is amazing shes was super gentle and so informative. She made sure I felt no pain and keep checking on me. I drove a hour to see her and it was absolutely by far the best dental experience Ive had. My nurse was amazing to she explained everything to me and made me feel comfortable throughout the who process. Even the ladies at the front desk are sweet.

2020-07-25Dr. Roh is fantastic. I heard he is from other Alpha dental office. I think he is a new doctor now. He is calm and explanatory. Even though he was very busy and seeing multiple patients at the same time, he took the time and explained clearly. He was very informative before and during the procedure. He answered all my questions. He was also good with a needle. I think he has a numbing skill that I’ve never experienced from other dentists. My extraction was not easy one. My molar tooth was infected and root shape was weird but he quickly cut my tooth and removed without any complications. I recommend Alpha and their team.

2020-07-20Reading some of these awful reviews has compelled me to post my own. I have been coming here for a few years. Always a positive experience. Every staff member Ive encountered is very friendly and knowledgeable. The girls at the front desk have always gotten me in when needed. Ive spent very little time in the waiting room. Even more importantly, Dr Cheng is fantastic. She explains every procedure thoroughly. Ive had extractions, crowns, and partials. They came out perfect and didnt even need to be adjusted. No post procedure problems. During my last checkup, Dr Cheng found that I have a cyst in my jaw. I had no symptoms! Thanks to her, Im now being treated by a specialist at a university hospital.
