I recently coordinated a wedding where Almost Heaven served ice cream for dessert. They did such a fantastic job - not only was the ice cream SO GOOD, but their ice cream cart was beautiful, they served guests quickly and with friendliness, and were very responsive in communicating about logistics leading up to the wedding weekend. Id recommend working with them to anyone wanting to add something fun and delicious to their event, and I hope I get to do so again soon!

Ice cream is out of this world.. Heavenly, unfortunately, the service is slow and aggravating. Going through the drive thru should not take this long. I have seen people walk up, order, and get their ice cream at 3 or 4 at a time while one vehicle waits. Not enough employees to meet demand.

Best Ice Cream Around! All homemade and that includes the waffle cones. Seasonal flavors keep things interesting. However, coconut cream pie is my go to when ordering from the always available flavors.
Love the ice cream however the employees all seem to be running around doing nothing. Not efficient at all!!! Maybe need more training? A couple months ago there was a girl out front who really seemed to know how to get thru the lines quickly.. maybe she went to college but you need her back
This place deserves 5 stars for just serving dairy-free ice cream, and soft serve at that! I tried the vanilla and my husband tried the fudge pop. Both were delicious!!! We got the regular size and the portions seemed pretty big to me which I was pleasantly surprised by. They had a good variety for the regular menu items as well as a nice variety of options for the dairy-free ice cream. We will definitely be going back!

When I visit an ice cream parlor I expect the product to be at least as good as anything that I could make. If they cant do any better than I can do messing around with an ice cream machine and some basic recipes then they get three stars max. Thats actually still pretty good because I have an extremely high standard in making my own ice cream and handing out stars. Having said that, I feel like the flavorings could be more... Flavorful.

Recently, I came into Almost Heaven, and gave it a 5 star review. However, due recent experiences, that review has changed to a 1 star. Whenever I asked for a specific flavor, the workers started laughing at me and were being extremely rude to me. I remember specifically that this one girl who laughed at me and was rude to me had a cactus pin on her hat. There was also no mask worn until I came which possibly allows covid to be spread easily throughout the ice cream and the store. The ice cream is not up to the expectations that I had. I ordered a cookie dough blast and there was barely any cookie dough in it. Very disappointed
Best ice cream Ive ever had! The name is fitting because it is in fact, almost heaven! The staff and owners are incredibly friendly too. Great experience and I would highly recommend checking them out (even if you have to travel to do it)

A very unique, top of the line ice cream spot! They have so many unique flavors to choose from that you dont see just anywhere else. A little pricey and lines can get long, but to me its totally worth it for the quality and selection you get.

We are NEVER disappointed! Great icecream with a nice number of uncommon combinations that you cant find elsewhere. One warning, theyre so popular there tends to be quite the line. BUT it well worth the wait.
Love the ice cream but not the price. Granted its freshly made but its not something I would pay for everytime Id go for desserts. Plenty of parking and areas to eat when its nice out. The workers are very nice. I deducted one star because of the cost. I would recommend this ice cream stand.

Experience was excellent, and portions were huge, so five stars for that. This is home-made ice cream and family-operated, so as others have noted, it is priced accordingly. If you like very sweet ice cream and lots of mix-ins, you will like it here. I was glad to support a family-owned local business, but I rated it three stars, because in my opinion, I found it too sweet and their flavorings tasted somewhat artificial--the vanilla was more like a marshmallow flavor, and the caramel was very one-dimensional. I would say the ice cream flavors were comparable to Country Maid in Richfield, but the mouthfeel and texture was more rich--it tastes like it has a higher butterfat. I prefer a rich and intense dairy-forward style more like Jenis and Mitchells, a custard-style like Pavs or an Italian-style Gelato. If you prefer more pure dairy flavor thats less-sweet or custard-style ice cream such as Pavs, you may want to stick with those. However, if you want to fill up with a big waffle cone and like really sweet ice cream, give it a go and support local business!
So expensive for mediocre ice cream. Seriously, would rather go to Dairy Queen or buy a carton of Ben & Jerrys. Dont waste your time or money. Tastes like great-grandma.
The Chocolate Explosion ice cream is God’s gift to ice cream. I’m still trying to determine all of the chocolate pieces and parts that make up this delectable treat. The staff is incredibly helpful and they even make a rockin sundae for your favorite pup. I’ve tried many flavors here and appreciate them all. It’s definitely worth a stop!

The ice-cream is great, but when purchasing Quarts the staff should really be train on how to fill them I have recieved quarts with jist scoops of ice cream multiple times.
I found Almost Heaven and will never go back to Milk and Honey. The pecan they use in the Icecream are incredible.
I cant say enough good things about this place! The ice cream is head and shoulders above the others. The kids who work there are pleasant and honest because the owners are very ethical and want the employees to be the same. Every aspect of Almost Heaven is remarkable. Its even more than the sum of its parts. Go there and enjoy!
I was at the canton location today. After being rushed by the very unfriendly cashier they told us their freezer was acting weird and the ice cream would be soft. They handed us ice cream that was basically soup. We took it home and threw it away. I would not recommend.
This place was non stop busy after 9pm, but the employees were friendly and smiling while they served up delicious treats. The only complaint was that there were only two small trash cans that were overflowing.
I really like this ice cream shop. Good flavors, customer service is always great. Its nice that they have a drive thru. Theyre just really expensive, and honestly there are other places in the area with better flavors that are cheaper.

Posting for my husband who came home VERY irritated and promising that there would be no future visits to Almost Heaven!There were a few issues with this trip;1). He waited 28 minutes at the drive thru line behind only one other vehicle2). He placed his order and mine (I wanted chocolate soft serve) and paid.3). Suddenly their chocolate soft serve machine was broken, so he ordered me one scoop of hard chocolate4). He had to pay an extra dollar for the ice cream that I didnt ask for5). They handed him 4 ice cream dishes without lids, when he asked for lids he was told, We dont have any6). He then had to wait another 6 minutes for a side of butterscotch sauceSeems like youre understaffed, undersupplied and need a maintenance man to fix your equipment...
10 Stars if I could. This is the absolute best ice cream Ive had in my entire life, and Ive had alot of ice cream. They make it there, and the service is awesome. Theyre always pleasant. Owner came out to meet us one time just because he had a free moment and didnt recognize it. He and his sons started the business, and have kept it just as good as the day they opened. The Mint Chocolate flavor has brownies, fudge, and oreos in it. Its incredible. Our other favorites are Angel Tracks (similar to moose tracks but much better) and Birthday Cake (unreal). The kids like Blue Moon, and they have excellent sorbet (italian ice maybe) for tiny ones who dont respond well to dairy. Go there. Its a spiritual experience.

The best ice cream in the area! Deep flavors, unique combinations, and really smooth, rich ice cream. Their butter pecan is the best Ive ever had any where. There are other ice cream places here in Canton and North Canton that are good, but AH is my fave.

THE BEST homemade ice cream around!! They have a great selection and the cutest little kids cones. There is a nice patio area with picnic tables to eat and a large umbrella to keep you out of the elements. They also have a drive-thru which could make it overly convenient.
Not a fan of having to pull ahead and wait while the four cars behind me, (who has the orders taken with someone on a mobile pad)got to get there stuff and go. But still a great place to go and not judge on one bad visit.
Soooo flipping good! We are out of state and our cousins brought us a few flavors to try. The day we were out.... yesterday.... complete disappointment took over.... I don’t want to go to the grocery store- because, there has been nothing like it before!You guys have something very special!!! The taste is amazing! I can’t wait to try more in the future!
Kraut dogs are good here. Easy to just drive up and grab a pair for the car or sit and hang. The mac and cheese bites here are pretty awesome too. Oh yeah, the ice cream in and a wafflecone is fantastic.
Another great addition to the downtown Middlebranch Plain Township scene which has become a destination for friend and family to meet up at and enjoy food and ice cream on the very pleasant outdoor patio with an Ohio State University theme decor. I love their homemade drumstick cones which come packaged in cellophane to eat at the store or take home. I usually take the drumsticks home and eat other treats at the store. They offer a loyalty card which we keep in the car so if the impulse arises, our points build up on our card to be redeemed for later visits. We have used both the drive up window and the pedestrian service window where friendly staff takes care of the customers.
The employees are kind, and some of the best customer service can be had here. The ice cream is better than any ice cream company around with unique flavors of the week (caramel waddle crunch being amazing). They are a gem tucked away in North eastern Plain Township. They also have a drive thru window.

A friend recommended this ice cream, so my daughter and I bought a pint each of vanilla, chocolate, and cookie dough --- nothing fancy, just the basics :-) --- to take to a party. The cookie dough ice cream was gone in seconds, with the chocolate and vanilla not far behind. This ice cream was second to none. The appearance, texture, and flavor were absolutely amazing! Now were looking for excuses (as if one needs an excuse to eat ice cream!) to get back across town to try some of the other flavors!

I live up the street and get their ice cream frequently. I love the young folks who work there. They are always so polite and eager to serve you. The owner is a very personal guy. He went to OSU so how could he go wrong. O-H -I O. Go Bucks! I would recommend giving this place a try. I guarantee you will return. Ask for the drumsticks. They are huge and sooo delicious.
Best Butter Pecan anywhere!
My milkshake was runny, and a little on the warm side. It maybe a personal preference, but I believe milkshakes should be thick in creamy. They have a nice seating area, and I enjoyed the Buckeyes theme.
There was a lady with a cactus hat that was just very rude and sarcastic about everything. I said there is no point in eating this it is melted (She let my icecream sit out in the open for a few minutes and forgot about it and the she was trying to play it off as if she had done nothing) and than that same lady said: Yes you can quit complaining and than she said Look and proceeded to drink my icecream. Will not be returning.

Love the ice cream however the staff is extremely RUDE and the consistency on amount of ice cream is never thebsame..I have given this place numerous attempts and I always get ripped off with my blasts..never fails i get a half cup of ice cream thats it and when I ask them if this is normal they asked if I wanted it or not..never offered to refund my money for anything..would bever recommend them..very dissapointed but like I said Ive given this place numerous tries..NEVER AGAIN
They use artificial colors in some of their ice cream. Their mint chocolate chip is white which is awesome. Employees are decent.

2022-07-03Used their catering service for a surprise party and the service was phenomenal! We rented a cooler which was an awesome option and all the scoops were in individual containers. Everyone kept talking about how fun and cute it was. They also delivered it and picked it up for us. They truly could not have made it easier. HIGHLY recommend using them because last but not least their ice cream is one of the best in the city!

2022-05-29Hartsville location was hopping! Busy but friendly staff. Great ice cream and I am from Texas where Blue Bell and HEB creamy creations is the best ever! I got the chocolate PB; husband got the chocolate almond and salted caramel. Good good!

2022-06-24This ice cream business has been expanding for several years now to more locations, the newest on Prospect St. in Hartville. The Middlebranch location is where we went tonight. It was crowded but they kept their linesmoving quickly. We sat down and ate delicious ice cream. Always happy to go here.
