KDOA is a huge benefit to the City of Alliance. We are very fortunate to have a program like this! Special thanks to Officer Tittle for keeping it going. Id also like to say Officer Hanket treats everyone with respect, we need more like him!
McCalla is a very professional and treats people with respect and is always friendly and goes above and beyond to help someone... as for the midnight shift... they are rude with their comments and behavior one talks to women like dogs baggers them for hrs and says very unprofessional comments has had a dui and has been brutal with one other alliance lady pushing her face into the snow..wrecked into a citizen and blamed her while on his cell phone and he is still a cop..
Josh tenney is a coward, a trigger happy Ignorant killer. I do not feel safe in my community with a coward like this working the beat, he should NEVER be allowed on duty ever again. Stop the insanity. Cowards

Just viewed a YouTube video where these uneducated cops arrest a photo journalist for taking photos from the entrance to a court house building. Not even in a courtroom. 2010 & 2018 DHS memos state photography is legal in entries, lobbies all public areas. These cops need an education!
They were very gentle when they handcuffed me and their patrol vehicle was very roomy.. overall very professional. Will get arrested by them again for sure.
Officers are the most unprofessional people I have ever talked to in my entire life. Beware if you are pulled over for unprofessional behavior and false accusations against you. Beware.

2021-10-11I was told by a house sitter that the police department found my wallet and to go pick it up when i get home. I get to the station and was asked for officers name bc without it they didnt know where it was. After answering lady told me to take off my mask bc she couldnt hear me. Very rude, and unorganized situation. Dont tell someone to come and pick up wallet then they get there and no one knows whats happening. Still waiting on property clerk to get back to me

2021-08-09Cops made me pay $50.00 to a towing company on a car i showed them the plates for then put on. Mind you i got no ticket on the car or warning. Then when the tow truck came after the car did not need towed they still made me pay $50.00 because the cop had called him out! Wrong!

2019-12-26It is a mixed bag. I think officers like Lieutenant X have been outstanding. There are many other fine officers on the force that I have met. I do believe there are some bad ones though. I also believe that they do not always follow through with the law. The bad apples I should specify. I also think that thats many of the officers are being told to turn a blind eye because of politics. I know a dealer close to where I live. I have reported him I have shown paperwork where people would be willing to testify against him and he is still allowed to sell as he pleases.He claims he knows people. We have reported him for almost three years. He may have even killed someone but he still operates.

2020-06-27Called about people sitting in the road and blocking tons of traffic behind Giant Eagle, they told me it was out of their limits and to call the sheriff who would have taken god knows how long. Weird it was out of limits yet theyre always parked at Walmart which is even further out of town. Care more about coorperations than they do real safety concerns.My boyfriend also had his motorcycle stolen, he found out who stole it later on and was contacted by someone who bought it from said person. He contacted the police multiple times, they did absolutely nothing, didnt even return his emails or calls. Alliance police couldnt be more useless!

2019-07-07I am from Cincinnati visiting friends and as I was driving from Alliance back to Akron, I was pulled over by an officer for failing to use my turn signal! I have never in my 34 years of driving ever been pulled over for something so petty. The officer acted as if a felony had been committed.

2019-06-01As a minor i am actually scared of how many idiots that are calling the police NAZIS, pigs and that they abusse there power even though the biggest police event i saw is when 3 cruisers rolled up to my neighbors and arrested him because he abuses his wife. But none of them have ABUSED there power they earned the right to arrest the racists (ANTIFA) that call others racist

2021-02-09Trash cops & you can tell they crackheads. People come from lots of other different places and deal with cops there but when they come here, they always say the cops here are the absolute worst.
