What I specifically like about this business are the “Clean Tech” employees, Kelly and Carolyn. They did a phenomenal job cleaning my home. They were both very professional and cleaned my home like it was their very own. Allen Keith should be proud to have these two employees on their team.
Allen Keith Construction did a outstanding job on my entire roof and siding replacement. The siding crew is top notch. Would highly recommend them. They went the extra mile to make sure everything was good. Awesome job!!!
The two women that cleaned our house after our basement fire did an excellent job! Everything is clean and neat! They are very professional. Our youngest son, who was home doing online schooling, said he got used to them being here and thought they were fun. He was sorry to see them go. They cleaned the whole house top to bottom in a week and were very thorough. I would have then back in a heartbeat!The whole company had been great, from removal of the fire damaged items in the basement, to the air purifiers, cleaning our clothes professionally, cleaning the electronics, and general cleaning of the whole house. Thanks for making it house livable again!
E had storm wind damage in May of this year , and Allen Keith was on the list of contractors from the insurance . Cody was the person we met first , who was the one who did the estimates , looked at all the damage and quoted the prices to the insurance . He was by far one of the most professional and kind people I have ever met .he was there to organize and make calls and get the teams organized to do the repairs and answer my zillion questions . Every contractor that came to the house was very professional , from Jim , who helped organized things and get things set up working with Cody , to the door installer , Dustin and the guys who had the complex task of repairing our lower back roof off our back porch due to storm damage and replacing wood and soffit on our higher part of the house . They were very professional and thorough ! Also to Dustin who replaced our doors , he was very kind and professional ! In addition the team who replace our gutters did the work very quickly and professionally !Everyone worked really well and with Covid 19 very professional and cleaned up all after the work .!I cannot say enough and if I could give them 100 stars I would ! Horrible experience. Had Allen Keith working on an insurance claim and could not get them to come finish the job. Even my claim agent calling their management staff had no effect. They stopped giving me my contractors voicemail (he never returned any calls anyway). And instead of fixing water damage they literally just put drywall mud over it then painted it, cost $400. Didnt check to see if their was more damage or anything about fixing the actual problem.
Allen Keith has done a great job for me — twice! First time is when my insurance company recommended them to fix the water damage in my basement. I found them to be very good at what they do. Not only that, but they were most respectful. They always came on time and did what they said they would do. They were polite and courteous. They had good ideas and made helpful suggestions. It was a pleasure to work with them. Most of all, my remodeled basement looks great!That brings me to the second time... For awhile, I had been planning to remodel kitchen, family room, and powder room. While working with the Allen Keith team on the basement project, I came to appreciate what good workers they were and what a fine job they could do. I was OK with having them in my house. So, I asked them if they could do a remodeling job for me, and they said that they could. They gave me lots of practical suggestions, and I could see that we could work together and share ideas. One thing I really liked is that they had the expertise of a variety of professional tradesmen on their staff. Collectively, these men had years of experience in their fields — experience at the practical level of knowing what works and what doesn’t, of knowing what can be done, and what will not work. They were most supportive of me when I made changes along the way. Their expertise and professionalism was so very important in getting everything to work out so well! The respect and courtesy with which they treated me made working together most enjoyable. I would be most happy to recommend Allen Keith to do a remodeling project! A tree fell on our house in June. Allen Keith was immediately there to rebuild almost half of our house. The job took almost four months. They did an excellent job. Cannot say enough great things about Allen Keith and their staff. They just wrapped up another project at our house, this time installing a large marble sink and cabinet. It involved completely rerouting the plumbing which had been butchered by another contractor when we had it fixed the first time. We had to leave in the middle of the job for a birthday party, but returned a few hours later to a perfectly done job, the space had been cleaned and everything put back in place.Allen Keith has helped us with crown molding repair, roof flashing repair, ceiling and drywall repair in the past and every time we are impressed by their professionalism, ability to complete a job on time and by employing staff that we trust in our home!Thank you for another job well done!
Several years ago we had Allen Keith update our home with new siding, shutters, and decorative window caps, one of which came off. I called and the staff came to our home, set up a ladder and attached the window cap. It was a pleasure working with this company and we were so happy they made the repair in a timely manner and without charge. This is a company that stands behind its work even several years later. We used Allen Keith to remodel our basement after flood damage. They were very difficult to work with, said it would be finished in 2 months and it was still not finished in 7 months! The quality of work was unacceptable and I spoke with everyone in the company including the owner. I would never recommend using this company to anyone.
Our chimney repair project grew into a tear down/rebuild of it, new siding on the entire house, and renovating the family room. Allen Keith was excellent at breaking down the choices along the way and made the entire project much less stressful. Their attention to detail and finish work was top notch. Weve had many compliments on the improvements from neighbors. They will be the first company I contact in the future for any other construction needs.

I was in a bind and had called multiple emergency service companies. No one could help me when a tree fell onto a house we manage. I called Allen Keith Construction and when the office called they patched me right over to a technician. He was very helpful. Andy was able to dispatch a crew with in minutes! My property was well out of their service area, but they were still willing to help me in my time of need! Absolutely amazing service from these folks! Thanks again!!
Carolyn & Kelly did a WONDERFUL job cleaning our kitchen after a cooking fire. They were prompt, professional and kind. They went above and beyond and cleaned the backsplash as well. Highly recommend!!!
We had a septic overflow in our basement and the people from Keith Allen were so professional and did an amazing job cleaning it up. From their representative who came to give an estimate to the men who cleaned up there was just an amazing attention to detail. I would highly recommend this company to anyone!
We have used Allen Keith Construction for many years whenever various calamities have caused a need. They have always been prompt, courteous and have done excellent work for us and I would reccommend them to anyone without reservation. In our part of Ohio there are many restoration companies but there is only one Allen Keith, and they are the only ones we trust to do the job quickly and correctly.
The first part of my water mitigation process was completed this morning. The two representatives who came today and the woman who came yesterday to assess the situation were professional, prompt, informative, helpful, and thorough.They will come back in a few days for further evaluation and discuss next step.
These guys showed up after my house was hit by a car and boarded it. I started to work with them for since I thought they were legit since the police worked with them... WRONG!!!They showed up, gave me an estimate, showed up again reviewed it, and then CRICKETS.Never showed up on a Monday with their production manager when they said they would, never returned a phone call, text,email ect.I called the office and talked to manager and they promised to show up Monday with their production manager a second time and they never showed up again.My house was hit in october 2020. Here it is march 2021 and I still have a hole in my house.thanks allen keith construction!
I called them for a fairly large demolition commercial project. 4 weeks later their Senior Estimator showed up unannounced. I walked him through the space and gave him the specifics of what we were looking for. He remarked that it didn’t seem like an issue to do the project and promised the estimate back to me through email by the end of the week.It’s been almost 2 months. No call, no email, no text. I have called and left messages on his cell, texted, emailed and even talked to the office secretary who contacted him last week and he said he was on vacation and would have it to me Monday this week, first thing...... it’s Thursday!AK.... I know you are busy like everyone else, but if you don’t want to do the project or don’t have time, just COMMUNICATE THAT!!!!You guys are awesome at one thing, UNPROFESSIONALISM!!!!
I highly recommend this company. They did an excellent job. They wonderfully handled the clean-up of my house after a flood. Fast, clean, and precise! They made this unfortunate situation as easy and painless as possible. Moreover, they helped us navigate through all the steps of home insurance and home warranty.
Very disappointed!!! My husband called 3 weeks ago to get an estimate on water/mold damage from dishwasher as this company was supposed to have a good reputation. Was told we would be contacted soon. Never received any contact so he called back 2 more times over a two week period and was again told we would be contacted. We have now wasted 3 weeks waiting for a call and living with mold.
I paid $7 K cash w a contract for cost of renovating a moldy laundry room in my condo. 6 months later I received a bill for $22 k to renovate a commercial kitchen w a threat for bill collection. Reconsider any business w this firm folks.
Its very difficult to even give this company a one star when I personally stopped by 5 weeks ago to discuss finishing my basement and I was told by the lady behind the desk that we would be in touch to schedule an appointment. Needless to say still no word from Allen Keith but they can manage 15+ company vehicles in the parking lot but fail to manage a schedule to call people back. Its my day off, its raining, with nothing else to do and I can assure you I will be contacting friends in the insurance, supply and trades business not to waste their time with you. After some initial bumps in the road, Dave at Allen Keith took over our claim and made sure that we had constant communication with all parties. The work was completed and we are pleased with the results. We changed our rating to reflect the service we received overall. We would use Allen Keith for future projects.
Poor craftsmanship!!!!!! Would not hire them to repair or paint a doghouse. Had to repaint rooms that they missed areas on, did not paint tops of door jams or windows, missed large areas on walls, had to hire other contractors to repair electrical work that they put in. They left tile ungrouted near toilet area, did not caulk around sink where sink meets the wall. Paint pealed off right away on baseboards.Good talkers but POOR PRODUCT.
When a 60 limb from an old oak falls through a garage roof and ceiling in winter, Oh, good is not what comes to mind. Allen Keith handled all the repairs in a process that actually seemed easy. All we had to do was to step back, let them work, and sign over the insurance checks. Thank you Cody, and thank you Allen Keith.
I had serious wind damage after a storm in the middle of winter. They were able to come out and make repairs even during the winter season. Awesome service and they were able to work with my insurance company.
I have a rental property that had flooding in the basement and needed fixed right away. They were very prompt, professional, knowledgable and did a great job. Definitely will use them again if need be.

I like the work for the Allen and Keith company hard work but fun
They re-sided our house, but didn’t order enough siding. So our house sits half finished, with a huge dumpster blocking our driveway so we can’t get into our garage.Update: It’s been a whole month now, and our house still sits half finished!

2022-04-06We did a major renovation in the unfinished portion of our basement which included a new bedroom and a large bathroom. The house was only a few years old and was custom built so we were very concerned if the addition would match the quality of the existing home. I am very pleased to say the we could not be happier with the workmanship and attention to details that the Allen Keith team brought to the table. The addition feels like it was part of the original construction. I would certainly recommend Allen Keith for any project large or small.

2022-09-13They took months to complete my projects that stemmed from water damage. Their work was adequate, but less than my expectations. Their floor installer left nails exposed; their shower installer(s) failed to do trim (caulk, painting) in a professional and attractive way. Their manager frequently did not return my phone calls. If you want adequate, they may be for you. If you want something better, you should look elsewhere.

They came right out and looked at the damage to help me figure out where it was coming from and even walked me through out to fix the problem on my own. This saved me time and money! Thanks again. 2022-08-13I have used this Company twice in the past. Called again recently (3 weeks ago) and spoke to a Hailey both times. I was told a salesman would be in touch within 24-48 hours. Did not hear from them based on their timeline so called back. Spoke to Hailey again and told me the same thing. I asked should I expect the same treatment and she said no. Someone would be in touch. Not feeling confident about her attitude and the situation, I asked if I could speak with someone in Management. She told me I could not. Guess what, no call back, again. I specifically told her in my last conversation that if the Company did not want my business, please tell me and I would gladly go elsewhere. I can honestly say there no reason for me to bother them again. I do not recommend this Company for their callous disregard for past clients. Callers - beware!

2021-03-02When a neighbor’s huge oak tree fell and destroyed my garage, I immediately called my insurance company for help. Allen Keith was one of 5 companies recommended. A friend had used them a few years earlier and highly recommended I call them. Kevin was most helpful at the initial consultation, bringing samples to choose from for siding and roofing materials. I felt comfortable knowing the job would be handled. Although it was about a month before demolition and rebuilding began, I can’t say enough good things about all the workers involved! They were all courteous and seemed to take pride in their work. They did a super job and I couldn’t be happier with my new garage! Thanks Allen Keith for a job well done! I appreciate it!

2022-02-10The absolute best renovations company of making the job right again be cause they in fact Do Make It Right Again. I got a hold of these guys because my mom used them a lot at her home I rent and I remembered how fast they were so I gave them a try on my own home. I definitely saved the best for last on that one !!! One Word “Perfection”.

2022-01-11After an unfortunate flood in my home (pipe break) i called Allen Keith from a recommendation. First their water mitigation team Cleantech came out and in a matter of hours, had my basement on the path to drying out. Im a picky guy and what really stuck out was the attention to detail and care they took with my items in the basement, covering it up with plastic and gave me great feedback on the process. Next the project manager Cody came out and again great feedback, walked me through the process, gave great recommendations and got us lined up. The repair team was very courteous, clean, cleaned up DAILY after working on repairs so stuff was not laying all over the place. Literally every day they did this. impressive. My floor was put back amazing, looks so much better than before, the painters were super friendly and very clean. In short, from start to finish, i was impressed and they care about their work and reputation. I dont do a lot of reviews but in this instance im compelled to do so as its not often you find a quality company and job well done. I have already made several personal referrals and they have been pleased as well! Thanks team for getting me back in business!

2021-08-24This review is long overdue, but deserved. In June 2020, I had a major flood in my house due to a water supply line failure. It was almost 7 months of work to get everything back to original (and much better) condition. Cody W. was the estimator and Jim N. was project manager. All of the work was done well, and all of their employees were professional and responsive.They were professional in working through the inevitable snags in some work not done to expectations (very minor things that were corrected immediately). Some material supply mistakes/issues were worked through to the best of their ability with minimal delay and with my satisfaction being very important to them. Overall, AK did what they promised would be done, did it well, and in the best time frame possible. Even the subs were there when expected and communicated with me if schedule changes were needed (very few). AK worked well with my insurance company to make that part painless as well. Excellent collaboration on design ideas and best methods to complete the work. They really listened to my input and took the best care to make it happen. The house is fantastically renovated. A big job done very well. Thank you AK!

2021-07-05After 3 waterline leaks in my slab were found, I called the Allen Keith company for turnkey remediation and repairs. From the initial visit the same day that I called through the entire process from clean up of the water damage, plumbing repairs, removal and then replacement of the main floor flooring and furniture put back in place, every Allen Keith person that worked on this project was professional and focused on quality.I had the opportunity to visit their beautiful showroom for flooring selections and worked with Mikayla on that process. The remediation team talked me through their process and the team that tore out the flooring and replaced it along with baseboards and door trim were definitely craftsmen. The quality of work is excellent.Kelly and Carolyn were sent to do a final clean.They walked with me to make sure they knew all areas that were to be cleaned. I had questions on how to maintain the new LVT flooring and Kelly was quick to share her cleaning secrets.I left the house so as not to be in the way. Kelly called me when they were finished.They did a fantastic job getting rid of the construction dust and the place smelled clean, fresh and the floor and kitchen sparkled.Every Allen Keith employee that was involved in my project from office staff to the construction team did a great job and represent their company well.Working with Allen Keith Construction was so much easier than hiring individual contractors for the various stages of this project. Turnkey was the way to go!
