ALDI in other cities:
Great selection of foods, including vegetarian, organic, and gluten free. I love the random good deal aisle too. Never know what Im going to find, but I know it will be a great price. The store is really well organized and the aisles are spacious, so I never feel crowded here. The staff are super helpful!
The selection might be small, but the prices cant be beat. The whole store is immaculately clean, including the restrooms and the parking lot. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. The individual stores arent very large, but the chain is large enough to have their own brand of food items. Costs are controlled by having a refundable deposit for the shopping carts, and by the environmentally-friendly encouragement to bring your own reusable bags, though they do have bags for a few pennies each. My only complaint is that the produce isnt always as fresh as the larger big-box chains.
Best prices on most everything. Not my go-to for produce, though I have had had a few good produce purchases there. The staff may seem busy (they work very hard for their money!). But they have never failed to be helpful when I needed it or kind in conversations with me. Im not a fan of their frozen fish items, but most of their other brands are great! I would say it saves me time, but Im the type of person who will go in for 2 specific items and come out with 7. Once you figure out the layout (maybe like 2 trips?), its easy and quick to find what you need. I suggest getting the app or checking the flyer if you like to plan your trips. Great service and great savings!
A really good budget grocery store, on the whole much cheaper than the other stores in the immediate area. Things like eggs and boxed snacks can be anywhere from half off the nearest Walmart, while things like produce end up being roughly the same. This ALDI in particular is very clean, well stocked, and organized, with the benefit of everything always being in almost the exact same place when they restock. In the effort of keeping things cheap, lots of things they sell in the “great value” aisle are very much you get what you pay for, with the items being kind of cheaply made if they’re a really good deal. Though it’s located in a college town, so not much can beat getting a whole set of pots for $15 even if they’re not fantastic. There’s also rarely more than one person working the check out lanes, but they do their best and are generally very nice and friendly. That’s definitely a money/management issue and not a complaint against the workers themselves. All in all, a very nice place to shop, the location is great, close to the apartments south of campus, the prices are fantastic. It’s my go to store to do all of my grocery shopping.
Store does not care about Covid 19 protocols and rules. Maria and the gang do not tell customers to not wear masks. Im shopping Walmart now, because Walmart forces customers to mask up.The fruit and veg section shrunk by a noticeable amount. On some items, they are allot higher priced than Walmart, 1200 feet away.
I really love shopping at Aldi. Its so much easier to do a weekly shopping trip and its way less expensive than competitors. The downside to it is that there isnt as much of a selection. Things like quality fresh meat and fresh produce are rare to find. However, shopping trips are always quicker and I dont have to wander around forever to find something. I hope in the future they keep adding more healthy and organic options.
The bananas were $.39/lb, so I got some. AND now they are no longer in the bags! They have been liberated! 😏 I did look around some, but not like usual. I had picked up a long time acquaintance at the hospital ER. After the pharmacy, she needed a few groceries. We got a few more than the few initially sought for! And she found a better price on the liters of flavored water, so I got two. She got some more groceries, and we both found a box to put our separate items in. Oh, she found the chicken drumsticks for $.79/ lb! The right price for making your own chicken soup, especially when you have had a fever❣️
Aldi has the lowest prices in town for household basics and the quality is equal to or better than the other stores. The produce prices and quality can vary but the weekly produce picks are lower priced than sale prices in other stores. Other than chicken products, I dont care for their fresh meat
Store was clean and organized, not a lot of empty boxes, like you sometimes find at Aldi. I did find an expired bag of tortillas. Employee at the checkout saw that I was struggling with my baby crying and trying to unload groceries. So he offered to help. Great experience.
Great prices and the best String Cheese by far. Forget about Kraft, Borden or any other brand. Best place to buy basic spices for about $1. Premixed salads are also a good deal. Snacks, like chips, Fritos or Tortilla chips are extremely inexpensive. If you love salsa but cant take the spicy heat, try their Mama Casita Mild salsa. Absolutely NO HEAT.
I am rabid ALDI’s enthusiast and supporter. Their commitment to their customers real and admirable. Their products are top of the line at and the best value you could possibly get anywhere. This goes for their unique offerings, the standard grocery items and also their rotating selection of non perishable goods. With the exception of one hammock, absolutely everything I’ve ever bought at Aldis has exceeded my expectations, and I trust their products implicitly. Can’t recommend the place enough. I’m a literal fan like someone would be about Apple or Tesla.
Was my go-to place, until a few weeks ago. Seems they dont have allot of things lately. Bologna, Coconut/Almond milk blend, Summit diet cola, frozen bag of orange chicken, and other items that they ALWAYS carry. Aldi should have secondary sources to ge things to the warehouse, just outside of Medina.Edit (10/06/20): Still out of coconut/almond milk blend and frozen orange chicken. Currently paying more at Walmart for these items, while spending for other items as well. ALDI, GET IT TOGETHER!!!
A clean Aldi with friendly helpful staff. They seem to do a lot of stocking Wednesday evening so its best to avoid that time as the shelves can be a little bare by that time. This location now takes credit cards. If youre willing to try new things and dont get attached to buying the same thing every grocery trip, Aldi is a great economical way to grocery shop. Compared to Walmart or Kroger, my family of three saves between $80-100 a month shopping here. Dont forget to bring your own bags and a quarter for the shopping cart.
Best price on bananas, bath tissue, milk, canned fruit, tissues frozen potatoes, ground beef and other staples. Often mark down meat, flowers & baked goods close to expiration. Now accepting credit cards. Convenient location.Bring a quarter for cart & your shopping bags to pack your own groceries.
Nice reflection of the German locations. The stores in Bowling Green and Marion echo the German (Nord) locations in the types of products they stock and the layout. Made a dash for the German chocolates (my workmates and partner love them!) and was pleasantly surprised to find Strawberry jelly from Germany and Spargel (white asparagus)!

2022-02-06Here, we can find affordable goods. I like grocery shopping in Aldi since it’s also near from my apartment. It’s eco friendly shop because you have to bring your own bag for your groceries. I like the idea. Keep up the good work Aldi.

2022-03-02It has been a very long time since I had shopped Aldis. 10-15 yrs. When I walked in the other day, I was blown away! Completely renovated from their old floor plan. Nice wide aisles and not a pallet in sight. Pristine store, shelves fronted out, the best display of fresh fruits and vegs, of which I purchased several varieties and have not been disappointed! The beef and other meats still a bit pricy, but that is the same everywhere. I dont mind paying a little more for food that I dont have to put in the trash two days after I bring it home. Aldi, I will be back! Loved my shopping day. Had a smile the rest of the day. Thank you so much!

2022-01-23Aldis in Bowling Green was slow but its fairly snowy out. The front inside of the store was clean and the floor by the door was dry and well carpeted. The stock of food was a little low but that just might be shipping issues. Always a great place to go for organic foods and fresh fruits.

2020-11-22I love shopping at Aldis, my newest find is their Millville crunchy granola Raisin Bran cereal, when they say Bursting with Raisins, they are not fooling around. It truly is. I highly recommend this store.
