The best car-buying experience I have ever had. Blake is professional, friendly, and patient! He offered to let us test drive three different vehicles as I was unsure of what exact features I wanted and was kind and helpful the entire time. I am so glad I stopped in here on a whim. Everyone in the office was so nice. They paid off my old car (plus some!), and got me such a great deal on a car that I LOVE. Thanks so much, Blake! I’ve already recommended him and this dealership to multiple people in the market for a different vehicle.
Joe was very nice with everything. I was able to drive the vehicle around as soon as I got there. He showed the car fax and the scrapes on vehicle, which were minimal. I wasnt able to get the vehicle because my bank financing said they were over pricing by 2 grand but if youre financing through them you wont need to worry about that being a problem. The car world has been messed up by covid so yeah
I continue to praise the Lord, coming home from New York City last weekend 7-2-17, I had an unfortunate accident with Bambi the deer. I drove for about 50 miles when I was able to stop and looked at my Kia Amanti frontend and was quite devastated. I arrived in Dayton Ohio on Monday morning via rent a car . I was blessed by Alan Besco car dealership once again... to buy a reliable and affordable car. I found the perfect SUV for my needs on the website and had heard the great reputation and customer service of Alan Besco through friends. Took the CR-V on a test drive for 20 mins and immiediatly walked in to start the buying process which was incredibly relaxed easy to understand. Not only did I get a great price but they were able to take my old car to auction for me. Bottom line: get your next car here! The staff and owners are amazing and incredibly helpful!

The detailing department worked WONDERS on my car and thats says a LOT coming from a mother of five small children!! Will definitely be going back! Went to go look at two vehicles and they wouldnt even negotiate any type of deal, didnt hear what wed offer and one of the vehicles we test drove had some issues that definitely need worked on. But just wouldnt work with us on anything. Very disappointed.

I would not buy a car from anywhere other than Alan Besco Car and Trucks. Every time I take my car in for an oil change they clean it up inside and out. It looks almost brand new. They have great service and the sales people were awesome. I totally recommend Alan Besco!
The men (employees) were good - to work with and happy to help! The owners (two daughters/new owners) were very rude, have NO SENSE of customer service. Very stern, not happy or cordial AT ALL!!! I would move on to next business if personality or flexibility are important to you. Total negativity in every way, either buy it or leave!!! and that is an exact quote from one owner! The same person (owner) seems to be in attack mode towards her customers and likes to threaten them regarding service. Obviously, there is a MICRO MANAGER hard at work. It is hard to believe you can spend $20,000 for a vehicle and not expect two keys, another issue unresolved. I just now read the response to my post. First of all, I was inside the office to sign the papers of purchase, since it was in both our names! Secondly, I have purchased many cars and NEVER been promised things like using our charge card for travel miles and then told no we wont keep our verbal agreement when we were doing the paperwork. I am not a kid, and have over 30 years of public service to the Dayton community, and this is the first time I have ever heard such rude verbage towards a customer. We have been very pleased with our van, but there is NO WAY customers should be brow beat for asking questions. Obviously, my recall is very different from the response given. I assure anyone with experience and maturity would not and will not accept such disrespect as a patron. The owners need to do some soul searching and think before giving harsh responses.
While searching for a specific vehicle, I called and spoke to Stacey. She was just so friendly and informative, we decided to make the drive to the Besco dealership though it was 1 1/2 hours away. The staff was friendly and Stacey was very patient with all our questions. They handled all paperwork-it was one of the smoothest transactions we have made. Top Notch Dealer.
I was shopping for a car and stopped in found a car I liked; I was working with Melanie. I wanted to think about it and went back the next day. That is when I was pawned off on a younger guy. He told me I might just want to keep my equinox. Really? I was told they would call me which didnt happen. I had to call them. After being insulted several different times I decided I would take my business elsewhere. I refuse to be insulted by someone who looked to be barely out if high school. I took my business up the road and found something I fell in love with! A 2020 Nissan Altima, bought it with no problem. I would not recommend allen besco car lot to my worst enemy!

I absolutely love Alan Besco! They do a great job from the moment you initiate the car buying/selling experience, and support you through the life of the car! When I was buying, I never felt pressured to purchase or uncomfortable as I have with other dealerships. They listened to what I was looking for and what price I was comfortable with, then they showed me a few options that I could try out. It was nice to be able to drive the car around, too, before I purchased. Its a big decision! Now, after having the car for almost 2 years, I am still taking it to be serviced because I know I can trust them to do the best work and not over-sell me on products I dont absolutely need. They also do amazing detail work-- makes my car look brand new! I highly recommend Alan Besco for buying a car!

This was the most painless car buying experience I have ever had. They were honestly priced cars and the sales staff made us feel so welcome!! Came to Alan Besco over the winter break to buy a new car with my dad. Met in there with Blake and his father Joe. They did a great job of answering all our questions and not being pushy at all. I took my 19 year old son in to look at a Mazda 3. Joe was very friendly and helpful. He did more listening than talking and he did not try to pressure us in to anything. He suggested other makes and models to my son that would be more in his budget range and he wanted us to take them for test drives. He treated my son as he would his own. We decided to stay with the Mazda 3 as it gets excellent gas mileage and has many safety features. When we told Joe he insisted that he would get my son in that car today...it was well past closing time and it was New Year’s Eve! Joe told my son to bring the car in any and every time he feels it needs looked at. We were treated like intelligent human beings by Joe and everyone else there. I highly recommend this small family owned business, it didn’t even feel like a dealership!

I was super stressed out last week because of car issues. My car is my only form of transportation to make the hour drive back and forth to work every week. I called mechanic shops all morning to see who could take my car in when the mechanic I originally took it to wouldnt work on it. Alan Besco was able to take it the next day. I borrowed my friends car and she took mine to their shop that night. Since I was still at work and I couldnt pick it up they allowed me to pay over the phone so my parents could get it. The price was right in line with what i thought it would be. When I got home to my car I was shocked. Not only had they fixed the original issue, but they took care of the service on my traction control and cleaned the outside and inside completely! Even my leather seats had been cleaned. It looked immaculate! I felt a little embarrassed honestly about the state I gave it to them in. They exceeded my expectations and definitely earned a new regular customer! Amazing service!!

I am a business owner and have extremely high expectations for customer service. Stacy (the owner) and the Alan Besco Team went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations in every way possible. We purchased a car and I had many questions. Stacy personally responded to every request and provided timely responses. They provided a fair deal for both me on the price of the car. What impressed me most is what happened next.When we test drove the car, we noticed some grinding on the brakes. They didnt hesitate to replace the brakes free of charge. When we drove the car home, I noticed a warning light. Within a few hours, they responded to the email. The next day, they picked up the car on their own time. They investigated the issue and even double checked with the dealer. It ends up that it was a weird quirk with the car and not a problem at all. What impressed me the most was them going the extra mile to make sure everything was ok. Most dealers would have pointed me to the contract or to our agreement. This never came up once with Stacy and her team.If you need a quality used car and expect quality customer service, you have found the right place!
I found the car that I ended up purchasing on Autotrader. They notified Alan Besco Car and Truck Superstore and within a short time, Stacy contacted me via Email. The store was closed, but she responded anyway. We exchanged some emails, I looked at the car yesterday, and I bought it! They are very friendly, the service is great, and they arent pushy. I only looked at the vehicle I found on Autotrader, but they seem to have many vehicles to choose from, Their motto, Like new is all we do is probably accurate because, glancing over the lot, the vehicles all looked great. I took my vehicle to Allen Besco to have a full detail done on Tuesday and have already been asked by several friends and family who detailed my vehicle. It looks like a new one and it’s a 2014. I took it to Ziebart today for my yearly rustproofing checkup and the manager of Ziebart came to me and said this was the cleanest vehicle he had seen other than a new one in a long time. I have bought a number of cars from Besco’s and have always had good results. Stacy and Mel have both always been very helpful in getting us in the vehicle that met our needs. Service, the few times I have ever needed any has always been excellent and timely. My wife has always liked the mini detail jobs that they have done for her. I am sure whenever the need arises for us to need a new ride, we will be back.
Absolutely the best customer service and personal attention I have had at a car dealership! The Sunday my mom accompanied me to look for a new car, Alan Besco was the only place open. Darren took extra care and time to help me find the right vehicle for me and Blake even went on a car-hunt to find me one in a different color! (I was pretty picky.) Everyone at AB was so nice and helpful. I fell in love with my 2018 Kia Soul - and my mom did too! She went home, got her car, and traded it in for one that same day. I think they were supposed to close at 4pm, but they ALL stayed at least 2 hours past that and got us completely taken care of. On top of everything, they made us feel comfortable the whole time, even when we were waiting. They also lent me a car to drive later that week so they could detail my new one and I could pick it up the next day.

I accompanied my son to Alan Besco to make his first car purchase. I was concerned the salesman would see a young military man coming, and take advantage of his inexperience & likelihood to be financed. Turns out I had nothing to be worried about! Joe is a great guy! There were no high pressure sales tactics. Joe was upfront about the price of the vehicle, allowed my son to test drive it for as long as he needed it to feel comfortable, was knowledgeable about the vehicle and the financing process, and offered advice for my son to continue building his credit. I will definitely make Alan Besco & Joe, my first stop next year when I am in the market and I would recommend any one in the market to do the same!
I recently went to Alan Besco with my girlfriend to try and find an affordable sedan. I met with Blake and he showed me around their lot and all my different options for my price range. After driving a couple we decided on a 2016 Mitsubishi lancer and within an hour they had us approved and driving off their lot. Great experience and great staff, definitely recommended!

I bought a 2018 Dodge ram pickup truck two months ago, the left rear brake line tie down came lose and was rubbing on the tire causing the brake line to leak. I dropped it off to there service department. They fixed it at no charge. What great service after the sale. I was drawn into Alan Besco by one of their many sales flyers. My wife and I were looking to trade our sports car for a more reasonable vehicle as we now have a child. I went into Alan Besco, presented all my financial information and gave them my requirements for a vehicle for both overall cost and monthly payment. My salesman, Jason, assured me they could meet those requirements.Throughout my shopping experience Jason refused to give me any numbers for my trade in, and also refused to give me a price on any of the vehicles I looked at. He instead gave me vague guesstimates at the monthly payment and promised a good deal. After two days of my wife and I visiting Alan Besco, dragging our 6 month old son along, they finally came back with some numbers.They were charging over 130% of KBB appraised value of the vehicle we had chosen with monthly payments $200 higher than the maximum I had set.Alan Besco Superstore is an embodiment of the Used Car Salesman stereotype. If you shop here, as others have warned, they will ignore your requirements and try to sell you what they think you should have for a price no one should pay. Buyer beware.

I tried to get a car from here twice. It was good in the beginning, but you can tell when they try to send off customers that they know is not approved instead of telling the customers that. I dealt with Blake specifically he told me he was going to call me back for results , but I had to call him back. Just to find out 5 lenders denied me and then he said he was waiting on one more. So I called the next day to ask about that one and he said I didn’t get approved . My biggest thing is call back the customers whether they got approved or not that’s just customer service. He says he was busy , but when I walked in yesterday he was on his phone. With or without getting approved had a bad experience. I honestly don’t even think they put my credit application through just saying .
Found a truck I liked online, they do not have any negotiating room but the price they had was better than others in Dayton for similar truck. No pressure, we were encouraged to drive as much as we needed. Once we said yes we were out the door in less than 30 minutes.

I have personally bought four trucks from the dealership and I can honestly say that each time I walked away with a better deal than I could get at any other dealership that I went to.Recently some friends of mine had been shopping for a car and had visited several dealerships but didnt find a place where they could get a good deal or feel like they were treated professionally. I suggested that they visit Alan BescoMotors and about a week later they went to the Besco dealership and they were so impressed they ended up buying a 2016 Nissan truck and a 2015 GMC Terrain. Later that night they called to tell me that they got a great deal on both vehicles and that they were treated great by everyone.In summary, if you are ever looking for a high quality vehicle, make sure you hold off buying until you have visited Alan Besco Motors in Xenia. Youll be glad you did!
I recently purchased a 2017 Volkswagen Jetta TSI from Alan Besco and was very pleased until further inspection of the vehicle. First things first, Besco allegedly did a 112 point inspection on the vehicle, or a full inspection according to them, but they seemed to have missed something very wrong with the vehicle which as an Auto Technician major seems physically impossible to miss. At first I just assumed that the vehicles tires needed balanced and aligned but once taking the vehicle to Detroit Tire in Xenia they informed me that my two right wheels were bent (which was causing the thudding sensation.) So I kind of felt lied to in a way by Besco considering they told me they had a full inspection done on it. I bought an all most brand new vehicle expecting to not have any issues with it for several thousands of miles however I was wrong. So I informed Besco of the situation expecting them to fix the issue for me since it was clear as day that the wheels being bent were not caused by me considering I noticed the thudding on the first test drive. One of the salesmen, Blake, was very helpful and called me a few days later to inform me that they had ordered me FOUR brand new wheels free of charge, emphasis on FOUR. Well that was not the case, for the past week and a half I have been looking forward to getting my new wheels on the vehicle. Once arriving to Detroit Tire today (9/27/2018) I was told that only the two wheels that were bent were ordered. So once again, I feel as if I was lied to straight to my face. I hate sounding like a spoiled brat because i didnt receive FOUR new wheels, I truly only needed the two bent wheels replaced. I would not have said anything or been upset about this if they had not told me that they ordered me FOUR new wheels. Besco didnt even feel the need to inform me that they only order two wheels instead of FOUR. The reason for the 2 out of 5 star rating is because of how long and annoying this whole process was. They did not seem to have any urgency on replacing my wheels nor telling me the truth. Besco would tell me one thing then the same thing they told me would not happen. They would not inform me with what was going on accurately or punctually. Id like to also note that I had called Besco this morning (9/27/2018) asking if I needed to go straight to Detroit Tire or come to their dealership to receive the wheels. They said to come to them first, once I arrived they said the wheels were at Detroit Tire. Very annoying and a great waste of time. Other than this whole ordeal with the wheels the car runs smooth and seems fine. If anyone is considering buying from Alan Besco please, for the sake of your time and money, go get the vehicle checked out by a mechanic that you trust first. I would not trust what they say personally.

Would not recommend shopping here for a used car. The mechanic uses junkyard parts. Prices are ridiculously high for such parts and services. Staff is brought in from out of town when they run big sales. They dont have good customer service but only worry about their commission, all while judging everyone that walks onto the lot before they even meet them. I bought a vehicle and service was great when something went wrong with it just days after purchase, they picked it up since it couldnt be driven and fixed it no problem. When the same issue happened again months later they refused to acknowledge it was the same issue and did not want to fix it correctly. I ended up upside down in my loan with a ton of negative equity and had to take a huge loss because I refuse to drive my children around in a car thats not safe
Blake and Wayne are awesome! I had an issue with a stripped bolt on the weather guard that prevented me from getting an oil change. I called Blake and he and Wayne had it fixed within the hour. Excellent service.
Took a friends car in for an oil change. The mechanic was friendly and knowlegable. They were busy but they worked the service in as my friend was leaving on a long trip and the car needed an oil change before the trip. While waiting, the other employees were friendly and outgoing.

These people are simply unethical. They ran a scam marketing campaign with scratch off rewards. I of course received this in the mail and assumed everyone of them was a Winner! and scratched off jokingly with my girlfriend over dinner. Apparently I won a $500 Walmart giftcard. I called and was asking for a straight forward answer. Are these all winners in the mailers? He skirted around it but eventually said no. Was told I did actually win, just needed to come to the dealership. I asked several more times what the steps were to ensure I wasnt wasting my time, and again was reassured it was legit. It was on the way to Yellow Springs so we go and it was indeed a total waste of time. They asked for info on what car I was driving and then proceeded to say a second number on the mailer has to match one they had in their office and I had not actually won the giftcard. If theyre willing to lie to people with these lazy gotcha! tactics just to get people [that have no interests in buying a car] in the door, it wouldnt be a jump that theyre also willing to lie about their cars as well. An ethical person wouldnt stand for any of that. Total lack of respect to potential customers and of their time. What positive outcome were you expecting with this bait and switch angle? A few sales (at best) at the costs of innocent peoples time you deceived into wasting that theyre never getting back? Seriously. This isnt how to run a business. Particularly a small business. Never buying a car through these guys, and encourage you to not support this kind of nonsense and go elsewhere.

I stopped in intending to only test-drive something that caught my eye. The low-pressure/ let-me-serve-you approach of the sales team won me over. I didnt get something for nothing which is what I have found some people expect. You do in fact get what you pay for. These people have bent over backwards to make me and my family happy.I have had a couple issues with the car, but it is USED. They have gone above and beyond on each of the issues that I have brought to their attention. They have completely exceeded my expectations. There is no wonder that they have been in business for so long. I am a customer for life.

Today, I went in to their store after receiving a promotional flyer. It said I won a prize. I called twice to confirm that I had won. I asked them what the catch was, and again they said that I had won (it said winner on the flyer for an iPad). But when I got to the car lot the rules had changed. I would not have driven 40 minutes for a $2.00 prize! If they are this dishonest about a game, then I would NEVER buy a vehicle from them! If they would deceive you about a game, then they would do that about a car! BEWARE!!
This is the 2nd vehicle we have purchased from Alan Besco, yes, I said ( 2nd vehicle ), I honestly have no idea why Alan Besco is given bad reviews. Both times, we were never pressured or mislead in anyway. I have been to the big dealerships where I excused myself to go to the restroom and bolted out the backdoor ! Way over priced cars. They signe you up with gap insurance that is a rip off. When you ask for a price on a car they won’t give you a straight answer and just tell you to come in and they can work on the paperwork. They tack on things like exspensive doc fees to rack up the loan as well. Wright patt dropped the partnership with them because they are so shady. Highly recommended looking elsewhere.

Just another damn used car salesman that makes everybody hate used car salesmen. I will not be back and I do not recommend buying from here.I asked the salesman not to waste my time if the car was over X. He wasted my time and the car was over X.I asked him flat out not to do that in advance but he did it anyway. So screw this place and you deserve a low review.
This place deserves to go out of business, I had an experience similar to many others Ive seen on here when buying my 2011 silverado. They basically stole the truck I had traded in (2000 Silverado they offered $2500 for), charged me $28500 for a truck that should have costed about $24000 and were offering $1500 cash to help make the first 6 payment cheaper, well after the paperwork was all done and sent off they came back and told me that they could only send me a check for about $500 and when I said I didnt want the truck anymore because of that they told me it was too late because the paperwork was already sent to the bank and everything was finalized.
I can only agree with the information that everyone has written here. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! They charge very high prices, they do not listen to what you say, and then they go behind your back and do things you ask them not to. We told them a specific price limit that we were approved for with our bank, with a loan amount in hand. We asked them not to do another credit check ( there was no need we had already been approved). They did a credit check, called our bank and asked for a new loan approval for almost 8k more than we told them we would pay. It is a sleazy typical nightmare care dealership with wheeler dealers. It is a pity they push being a “family company”. They do no justice to the person buying the car/truck, only are looking out for how much they can make, how fast they can make it, and how much they can push you into.

Took it back had for a couple weeks same thing took it back 2nd lie! So third time well we will see! Just got it back dents scratches all over car thee idiots said they were there!! Um WRONG!!!! Good thing is we know some people where they took it and guess what there was no dents or scratches on my sons car. lie after lie!!!!!!!!! So we opened the trunk and WOW they threw the old part in the trunk!!!!!!! I thought they were better than that but THEY PROVED ME WRONG!!!!!!! Pretty sad.

This was my second time dealing with these guys, they have this mailing they send out. Basically just a way to get people to come to the office to see if they can sell you an overpriced vehicle.Nothing on their lot is under 10k, and most things are going to be at the top of the KBB or Edmonds price scales, so do your homework before you buy.

2022-01-31My wife called Blake and explained that we would like to test drive two cars that were on his lot. We were 15 minutes away. When we got there they had both cars pulled up front and being warmed up. We ended up purchasing the first car we test drove. It was an amazingly straightforward process and relatively painless. 2022-08-19I want to say I’m so very pleased with Alan Besco. I have had a few hiccups but Alan Besco has stood by their word and has performed beyond my expectations! This will not be the last time I purchase a car from them. I will most definitely be recommending them to anyone I know searching for a used car!

2022-06-21My experience with Alan besco is that I bought a car September of last year and was sold a warranty just recently the car had to be taken to the dealership the warranty only covered $400 of a $2,000 repair. Soon after that the car was in service again to replace an alternator water pump belt and belt tensioner. I visited a dealership and spoke to a nice young woman and they have graciously allow me to get a free oil change to help ease the burden. It was a nice thing for them to do that so Im getting them four stars now and it could have been five had we worked on this problem together.

2022-06-09Can I just say WOW.. WOW.. WOW.. I took my car into to be serviced today...oil change and brakes fixed. Not only did I get oil changed, brakes fixed all for 32.00.....but.....my car was also detailed inside and out at no charge...Alan besco here in xenia is the absolutely the best at customer service. Hands down.......no one can beat them. Best decision I ever made was to purchase a car from them. #alanbesco
