Salesman seemed too eager to sell the car. He added so many extra fees (including his extra commission and dealership fees which were higher than he had guesstimated) that our verbal negotiated price went back to sticker price in the blink of an eye.The next day after I bought it, it overheated. Called the owner who took 2 hours to have it towed and fixed at his expense but had no contact with me throughout the whole process. They said it was a broken fan relay and its all better now. It wasnt. It would last about a month before something would go wrong with the coolant again. I was able to keep it alive for just barely a year. Terrible experience all around, worst car Ive ever owned.
Do not buy from them. I purchased a car from them back in December. It ran okay when we purchased it, had a mechanic look it over, and beyond a small leak couldn’t find anything wrong. Then the check engine light came on on the way home. Within a week the car stopped starting reliably, their cheap leak fixes wore out and leaks started everywhere. New problems every week since that no mechanic we’ve seen can diagnose or fix and we’ve dumped hundreds into it trying to fix it. None of the issues were disclosed to us even when we asked. A car this terrible, they had to have known there were issues. They just threw some bandaids on and sold it well beyond KBB value. Now I’m out nearly $5000 and selling it for scrap. Do not buy from this dealership, they patch lemons and squeeze every cent from any sucker that walks in.
I assisted a friend to purchase a Toyota Sienna van from Akron Motorcars last week. The vehicle was clean and ready for sale. The owner assisted in delivery of the vehicle to an independent mechanic for a pre-purchase inspection that my friend covered the cost before the purchase. All went very smoothly and we were very satisfied in the purchase experience. Wil
My short experience today baffled me! There was a listing online for a car that the dealer had available. I called to check availability. The dealer responded that his buddy just put a deposit down for the car, but to call back prior to visiting the lot because he could convince him to buy something else. Per the dealers request, I called back. I tried to give him enough time to handle whatever he needed, about 2.5 hours. Upon me calling back, stating that I had called earlier about this particular vehicle, he responded Lets not even talk about that! The car is sold. I was appalled! It was he who told me to call back about this vehicle! He then tried to offer other vehicles in the same price point that I had no interest in. Instead of trying to play me, or have me hanging by a line, why not be upfront! Since I am not his buddy then my business is not what hes after. Remove the vehicle from the internet if theres no intention of selling outside your circle. I still cant fathom being treated or talked to that way.
Bought my first car from this dealership and I regretted it the second I drove off the lot. This car has so many problems that were never disclosed before buying it. I’ll end up putting in more money than I paid for it if I fixed it up. Don’t buy from here, save yourself the trouble
Test drove an audi a6. an esp warning light came on and i asked about it and any other issues the car may have. bob said you know, i drove this car for a while and i didnt notice anything. i sent the car to millenium for them to check it out. it came back that there is an oil leak and a misfire on the 6th cyl. i happened to walk into millenium when he was talking with bob about the car. he told bob about the leak and said it wasnt just a small leak. bob told him that he knew about the leak. so - bob calls me to ask if i want the car. when i confront him about the situation, he said he was all up in the car and found a small leak. when i asked him why he didnt tell me about the leak, he kept trying to double talk him against the people at millenium and then try to tell me that the car would be fixed. he had MULTIPLE opportunities to tell me that the car had an oil leak, but failed to do so. i wonder how many others he has not told the truth to even after they call him out.
Omg I am in love with this vehicle! After all of this searching and no luck I think I finally found the one! Bob you are a very nice down to earth guy! Thanks for all the laughs, great customer service, and working with me! Thank you so much for meeting with me today, I appreciate you!

2019-10-23Just purchased a vehicle from Bob today. He was super friendly and easy going. Up front about everything. He worked with us on a deal to meet my financial needs and we walked away with a beautiful Yukon XL! Would definitely recommend to anyone in need of a vehicle. Seems like he has an inventory to meet many different needs!Update: A few days after purchasing we noticed a tire needed replacing, talked to bob and less than an hour he had it taken care of. Just made an already good experience even better.

2021-10-10These guys deserve 0 stars. Do NOT buy from here. Sister bought her first car here, we took it to a mechanic to check over everything the next day. Turns out the car needed $6000+ in repairs, it was mechanically totaled in less than 24 hours of ownership

2021-01-22I bought a 2008 Saturn Vue from Bob about 2 years ago. 12 days after I bought the car, the transmission went out. I had no choice but to get it fixed, which cost me 3,200. He was nice enough to give me a $300 check to help with the cost. Now, I found out that my frame is absolutely unsalvageable. Huge holes in the center on both left and right sides.. So the car has cost me almost 8,000 and nothing but a headache, and now I get to return back to the process of car shopping. CHECK EVERY DETAIL about a vehicle you purchase from this place, and DONT BUY AS IS. Youll only get screwed in the end.

2017-12-10I bought a car from Akron Motorcars 4 months ago and cant be happier with the whole experience. No non sense. Fair price. Bob was very knowledgeable and disclosed the minor things that needed a fix. He took care of the repairs. The car runs great. I will definitely come back for the next car and highly recommend this dealership.

2021-11-05For the love of all things holy, STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE. They sell broken and totaled cars. They try to use cheap salesmen tactics and straight up lies to sell cars and I mean that term loosely because what they really sell is garbage...

2018-07-15Great dealer, great customer service. Very nice selection. Awesome, honest, low pressure buying experience. Bob has been around the car business a long time and it shows. Dudes a pro. Honored an incorrectly posted price on a car when he didnt have to. You cant say that about most used car dealers. I will buy from Bob again.

2019-03-01Bought a 2008 Honda Ridgeline here, coming from Rochester, NY. Bob described the truck as I expected when I arrived. I was very pleased with the truck and I was given a good deal. Would recommend anyone to buy a vehicle from this dealer! Thank you Bob for all of your help and for your great service!

2019-09-19Paid over 5k for a DTS Caddy. Always wanted that model, so decided to get one for my Birthday. Didnt have it for no longer than two days and the check engine light came on took it to my mechanic and it has a major oil and transmission leak so it sits in the driveway buyer beware.
