Called for a fuel pump, oil change and filter for my loader , they showed up with the wrong parts! Sh the tech called back to there shop for them to ship us out the correct part, 2 hours later another tech shows up with again the wrong Part. So they change my oil and leave. The following morning they show up with the correct fuel pump wich I ordered the first time and even gave them the vin number of machine, and the engine serial number, within 10 minutes machine was running. Get a bill in the mail for 13 hours labor ? Are u kidding me ? Getting charged drive and wait time for your screw up on parts ? I don’t think so... that’s not how you do business!!!! I have everything on camera so I’ll be taking them to court over this, not to mention the manager named Mitch calls me to try and resolve this matter he tells me his going to trim 3-4 hours of labor off , and Remove the service call charge. But still there was not anywhere near 8 hours labor ? So Mitch calls back on 11-27-19 thanksgiving eve to tell me he can’t hold up his end of the deal to make it right, and that I will still he charged the full 13 hours labor.. well guess what I’m have all one calls recorded , and I will see you guys in court unless you make this right !!!! If you wish to handle this the right way you can give me a call and do the right thing !!!
Parts dept is busy parts staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Have helped me and my father keep our 25 yr old tractors working saving us $.Pet friendly took my dog for a ride to Wooster to pickup parts they let her come in on a hot day.
Ok service . Not a good as when as it was shearer. Was overcharged for parts on a previous visit. On this occasion I was told a part was one price when I ordered it over the phone and then told it was a higher price when I went to pick it up.
Bought a Stihl chainsaw there and in 3 years only used it about 5-6 times. Took it there to get serviced and they said piston and cam scored up and now won’t start. Blamed me for it. Followed all directions for gas-oil mix, service, etc. Bought a Stihl for dependability. Never again and never go back to Shearer’s
They sold my husband a product they claimed to have in stock, then they informed him they did not have it and said it would be in Tuesday. When he requested a refund they refused and said they could not refund the money until the product came in. Why????

5 years ago I bought a Kubota tractor with implements for around $25k....I had planned on buying a John Deere but the salesman at this place laughed at me when I asked if I could scoop a bucket with the front end loader to see how well it worked....he could have respectfully told me they dont allow that, explained why, and I would have moved on and probably bought it....but he was degrading and now Im a happy owner of a Kubota....Im reviewing now because Im in the market for a Stihl weed whip and my wife doesnt understand why I have to drive further to purchase one...this is why....

Sales team have always worked well, parts too. Service needs some help, they have went through a couple of people and need some stability.
Waited at the parts counter just short of 10 minutes to pick up a part. I was the only customer in the building.

2021-07-19Service department ripped me off blind. Long story but they did me wrong. Great place to buy stuff. Beware of lawn and garden service.Friendly helpful sales and parts staff. Competitive pricing.

2021-08-02Lawn & Garden said my x485 needed a fuel pump, but they discontinued the pump. They said you had to buy a new fuel tank & wiring harness with the new pump which would have been like 1000.00 . I took it to Polen Implement and all it was was a $25.00 sensor & its been running fine ever since,its worth the hour drive to Elyria.

2020-07-29I was looking for a John Deere 855M with low hours, and the Wooster store had a machine back from a rental fleet that was exactly what I wanted. I made a deal with the manager, and was told it had the remainder of a 2 year warranty.We drove over 200 miles to pick up the machine. While I was there, I asked about the remaining warranty, and I heard the manger tell the salesman, “there’s 11 months warranty remaining”.After returning home, I asked the salesman for the warranty documentation, and was told the manager had made a mistake, that the machine only had a 12 month warranty.My advice, if you’re dealing with the Wooster facility, get everything in writing!!

2020-06-26Called 2 weeks ago talk to someone in the service department about my steering going out on my 22 hp john deer tractor.he took my name phone number said he would call me with a estimate. Will never call or return there again for any service or purchases. Would not recommend them to no one

2020-01-18I bought a used tractor and was happy with the price. The dealership was using it to salt the property so it was covered in salt. I requested that they wash it before I paid someone to pick it up and deliver it to me. The salesman agreed to it so I paid and left. When it was delivered to me the driver said that they should have at least washed for you. I called the salesman to let him know that I was disappointed that they didn’t do what they said they would. He said someone rinsed it off in the wash bay. I couldn’t wash it because it was in the 20’s outside. He chuckled and said “I’ll tell you what, if you bring it back up here we’ll wash it for you”. I live 35 miles away and he knew I had to pay for delivery so he was just being a smart@$$. Overall I’m happy with the price but disappointed in the service.

2020-11-06Store was well organised and socially distance friendly. There was a lot of product And friendly helpers. IpIurchased some oil and oil filters for my mower. I would recommend this John Deere dealership that seemed to have more product available

2020-06-11Price of parts.Make sure you are asking the price of the parts you are ordering. I did not and well I paid a crazy price.I paid $23.03 per pound for the bolts I could have paid $5.99 a pound for at TSC. Better yet I paid 10 times the price for the John Deere disc spool than I did for ones from Agri Supply. $8.99 Agri Supply and $94.28 from John Deere. I wrote to JD Corporate to ask why the price differnece and they say that dealer sets pricing. I wrote to Ag Pro corporate and NO RESPONSE on why the price difference. Scary but true. I have just begun to get the word out.

2020-10-29Well I needed parts for a JohnDeere push mower I had the serial# & model#. It took me 3 visits to them before they got it right!!! Not Impressed At All. Hope the get it together soon.
