Coming from someone who has worked at AAP 8 years ago, I ALWAYS go there for my car parts. This last visit the dude acted like he didn’t want to help me. I had asked him if I could get an alternator test done because my battery light came on. He said yeah let me grab someone you’ll have to wait. He never grabbed anyone so he finally helped after 10 minutes of standing around. We go outside and I told him my battery is in the back. He didn’t want to do that and instead hooked it up to my power supply in the hood but there wasn’t a steady ground due to there not being any direct frame hookups because it was either paint or rust. He proceeded to try it and wasn’t getting a connection. I stated the battery in the back would give a better reading seeing they have a positive and negative hookup. He said he wasn’t going to do it and that the machine was broken and to go to another one and walked away. I told him in the beginning I had to be at work in 4 hours and I needed to change my alternator before that. He didn’t care. So I went to O’Reillys and the dude instantly went to the back of my car because he knew. 2 seconds later, alternator failed, so I bought a new one from them. Never going back to AAP ever again. Rude employees.

I’ve been shopping at this location for almost four years now and I have been surprised by how many parts the store doesn’t stock for common vehicles such as a Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla. In fact, store employees have had to send me to the other Cleveland Avenue store on several occasions to purchase parts that they didn’t have in stock. Prices at every Advance Auto store are high unless you take advantage of their monthly specials and/or online discounts.Despite my previous complaints, this particular Advance Auto Parts location employs several very friendly, helpful, professional, and knowledgeable employees. They keep a clean store and parking lot, which leads me to believe that they take pride in their store and their work. And any time I have ever requested their assistance with a “Check Engine” light or full systems check (battery/alternator/starter), employees have never made me feel like an inconvenience. These are things that I appreciate and keep me coming back.
I called one store and was told the part was available at this particular advance Auto on Westerville Road. So I called them and they got the cart ready and when I walked in and it was up at the counter and the transaction went very fast. I did not go past the counter so I cant tell you whether this is a clean store or not, but everything went well

I stopped by to get windshield wipers and wiper fluid. Its 20°...he put on my wipers. He offered to fill the fluid, but I didnt want to keep him in the cold.
The guys Ive dealt with have always been helpful and even installed my windshield wipers for me for free even though they werent installed correctly the time before which caused some trouble. Cant beat it!

2021-05-26Done spending thousands a month when your employees want to tell me to wear a mask to walk in and they have them halfway down their face and are standing behind glass. If youre scared of people breathing customer service isnt your best choice for a job.Not shaming but you weighed upwards of 300 pounds. If your body cant fight a flu because youre unhealthy make better choices, your fear wont dictate my choices. And I wont shop anywhere that requires a mask anymore. If you agree with that grow a pair and follow suit.

2019-11-09Not happy with this location. I went to get a battery with free installation and they said they couldnt do it because of my model. I got the previous battery from Advance too! So how is that possible?! I went to another location 10 min away and they installed it for me for free in just 10 minutes. They may be good if you dont need any free installation.

2019-02-25The manager was very disrespectful, ignored me when i walked in, was really disrespectful when i asked to return a item that i didnt need cause it was the wrong part, continued to run his mouth when i walked out. Of course i am not innocent cause i dont like ignorance. So i was replying back to how he was acting & i eventually left cause the man didnt wanna come out side but wanted to keep throwing his hands up from behind the counter.
