Brought a 300 hundred dollar scanner, but when I got home it was different (cheap brand) scanner in the box. I was refused a refund and a replacement scanner because they claimed that they dont sell the brand I received in the box. If you buy anything from this store, check your items before you leave.

Went in for wiper blades. Associate tried to up sell me to their most expensive blades at first, but when I pushed for the less espensive, he seemed let down. I asked for help with installation and he walked outside, looked at the car and said it was too complicated for him, so I returned them and went to auto zone. A new associate changed the wiper blades in 5 minutes.
Went above and beyond with customer service. Came out on a cold night to help install wiper blades. The blades were very tricky to install but staff were determined to get them on right. Thanks for the help!

Terrible customer service! I went in to ask for help with my windshield wipers and the lady there didnt even take the time to come look at the problem with my wiper blade or ask what was wrong with them. She immediately shut me down and said I need to go to a mechanicWalked over to OReilly auto parts where the guy there helped me within 5 mins! Turns out all my wiper blades needed was to be tightened up because the screw was loose. If the lady would have taken the time to listen and look at my wiper blade she would have been able to help fix the situation a lot sooner!! Such poor customer service and just plain lazy if you ask me!

As far as big box auto part stores go, AAP has always been my personal fave (you HAVE to place your orders online and use the numerous coupon codes available with a Google search for the best prices - its fairly simple, their website works well on mobile phones and Ive done it numerous times while standing inside the store - yes it can be a hassle but the savings are worth it, plus I like their rewards program and the fact all my receipts are saved digitally). This particular AA is my regular store thats local to me, and Ive always found the employees are extremely helpful and willing to spend extra time working on solutions to uncommon problems/needs) the only reason for a one star reduction is; 1: I very rarely leave 5 star reviews, perfection is rare. 2: as with everything these days, the employees arent particular knowledgeable about cars and car parts. Im old fashioned and miss the days of parts guys being true wizards about all things car parts, new and old. But the folks they do hire will at least work to find answers to questions they dont know and not BS you (you get that a lot at the other chain and I personally find it infuriating). So kudos to this location and their well stocked, clean store with helpful, no BS employees.

They had a 5 star rating from me but then i called for a price on the phone and when i got there it was $30 more and they hadno cluewhat i was talking about when i mentioned it being cheaper on the phone when i called. So we may have to go elsewhere for parts since they aint the only show in town.
Friendly staff, and there are usually enough of them on the clock to make my visits quick. The only reason I knock off a star is that, like most auto-parts stores, I find the organization of products leaves a little to be desired. This is no better or worse than Autozone, and might be a bit better than ORiely, however.

Their prices are usually very fair. Their customer service is great though period theyve always been very helpful and went out of their way to take care of us. I plan to keep shopping there.

2022-07-04I needed a battery for my 29-30 year car that only has 12.000 original miles on it.runs like new,the air conditioner never been serviced but check perfect,this is the best part ya start it in about 1 min.maybe 2 its ice cold down to 30 degrees every time.if someone would like to buy it we could talk about it.I was putting the new battery in it,works works perfect started right up check the air 30 degrees every time. 2022-02-18Staff were rude and condescending. When we told them the rainex wipers would not work for for our car. The man rudely told us that it’s a universal wiper and it would work. Of course it did not work. When we tried to return the wiper the same man was going to show us how that wiper would work. I told him standard wipers do not work and we showed him what the web site said would work. The man then proceeded to say we needed to know about the car and not waste their time. Well don’t worry we won’t be coming back, ever. I thought this store was supposed to help people who weren’t sure what to get. Of it wasn’t an emergency we wouldn’t have gone there in the first place. I don’t recommend anyone going there and dealing with these jerks

2022-01-25Wifes car was having starting issues, so we went to the Advance Auto Parts on Brookpark and Pearl. The Technicians Rob and Robert, that were working last night, were extremely helpful as well as customer focused. It was cold and they were busy, but the battery was tested and replaced, and she is back on the road, thanks to Rob and Robert.

2021-09-01Needed hose clamps, non in stock the size I needed, well they did have them in the shipment sitting in the back but was told I cant have them because they werent being put out until tommorow.. yea Ill drive by this place now and go elsewhere.
