2021-04-29I feel like Norm from Cheers every time I walk through the door. Doesnt matter who is working, they greet me by my name and a willingness to help. Most dont even ask for my phone number anymore at checkout because they know me that well. Great place to shop for tools and parts.

2019-05-26My battery appeared to need replaced so I went to the Barnesville Advance Auto to try to determine this. This was on a Sunday, the day before the Memorial Day holiday and I was surprised they were open. I spoke with Rodney Conner who seemed happy to help with a great, professional, and friendly attitude. He quickly determined the battery was indeed bad and showed me the results. He gave me multiple options for a replacement and offered to install it. Within a few minutes he had the job done, then offered to check my alternator to ease my mind when I said I was glad it wasn’t the alternator. All was good at that point.Before I left, he asked if there was anything more he could do for us and was kind enough to discuss his training with me after I asked about his mechanical background. Surprisingly, he had years of professional training at a renowned school plus many years of personal experience having been raised on a large farm, one that I was familiar with. Couldnt have asked for a more knowledgeable, professional, and decent person. Having been raised in a family who owned a large garage, I’m normally a bit more critical of mechanics in general; but, I had absolutely NOTHING to be concerned about. Thank you Rodney and thank you Advance Auto for staffing your store with people who possess superior mechanical knowledge. I’ll never shop elsewhere.

2019-04-28The employees at this store are incredibly awesome. After securing my order for my sons late Easter present (parts for his broken windshield wipers) the employee followed me out to my brothers truck and set the time for me. It had been 2 hr behind. I got so excited that he did that for me I gave him a hug and high 5. If you ever need anything just call them and they will bend over backwards for you.

2019-11-12Been buying all my parts there for a few years. If they dont have it in stock can get it usually by the next morning. Prices are usually cheaper and the quality of parts and staff are better than most places.

2017-03-16Descent prices. A lot of stuff they have in Stock but have had to order some parts, usually have the part next day. They have computer to check your codes. They can also check your battery, starter and alternator.
