2022-01-27My hearing aid spent days in snow and ice after I lost it (my fault) while filling bird feeders. When the snow finally melted, and I found the device, not only had it been exposed to the elements, the speaker was gone. Perhaps a squirrel nipped it off while scavenging spilled sunflowers. I thought surely the hearing aid was toast, but a five-minute operation at Acute Hearing replaced the speaker and after a quick battery charge the device was like it never left my ear. Impressive.

2021-06-20The testing process was easy... but could be better explained to the patient. By this I mean, what to expect at EACH stage. I told the tester after the tests were completed that I thought I heard a faint tone, but was not sure. He told me I should have pressed the button if I thought I heard the tone... but the test just went on and was not repeated / re-administered.The tester told me I needed behind the ear aides versus the discrete in-the-ear models. I am concerned about his judgement given MY other 65 year old colleagues that have the in-the-ear models. Some of them had more dramatic hearing loss than my own; thus my concern.

2020-05-16Courtney was very friendly and very honest. Due to my insurance I was eligible for free hearing aides provided by another place where he would have had to charge me. Not only did he not try to take my money but gave me the number of the place where my hearing aides would be free and offered his services and advice if I felt like I needed them. A great experience. I highly recommend them

2019-06-22I love going to Acute Hearing in Anderson! I receive great customer service from Mr. Head there. He always has my best interest in mind. He is passionate about helping people with hearing loss. I recommend all my family and friends to Acute Hearing. I don’t know why anyone would give a negative review. You’ll love it there. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Thank you Mr. Head for everything you have done to improve my quality of life. You’re the best!!

2019-11-13I made many attempts to obtain answers to my hearing aid problems from both Holly and Courtney. They are both condescending and derogatory. After leaving numerous massages and sending emails directly to Courtney, all of my messages were ignored. There seems to be a mindset prevalent in the Anderson office that they are doing you a favor by addressing concerns of newer hearing aid costumers. I have had all of my records transferred to the Milford Acute Hearing. Mark comes highly recommended. I look forward to dealing with professionals at my first appointment tomorrow.

2019-10-09After a not so great experience at another location and a set of hearing aids that never worked for me, I saw the Anderson location. It had been a few years and I was now going to have a baby at home that I needed to hear. I’m 29 so was hesitant that I even needed them or that they’d work after my first set didn’t. Dr Courtney got me fitted with a set that was perfect for my ears, had answered my hundreds of questions and helped me get any issues worked out (all user error, never the hearing aids themselves). So glad I tried one more time, and so is my family so they don’t have to yell and repeat and listen to the tv and radio up so loud lol.

2020-06-27Very good service, testing and adjustment. Holly is great to work with on schedule and is always friendly and celebrates local holiday themes in the office. The only negative is that I think the specialist should be wearing a mask. I wore a mask when visiting recently.

2019-10-10Courtney and Holly both have been great. They both have always been very friendly and very professional. We have had nothing but a good experience with this office. We are still in the process of adjusting the new hearing aids.

2020-03-15I received excellent service and a thorough examination at the Beechmont location. The audiologist Courtney was very professional and helpful. I plan to return annually for a checkup.

2019-06-14Customer service is horrible. Mr C. Head doesnt know how to control his temper and not only YELLED but berated my father when all he was doing was trying to get his hearing aid adjusted. He stopped in to get an appointment moved up because the hearing aids dont work and was treated like this!!!! Dont waste your money. Unless you enjoy elderly abuse go somewhere else
