Dr Chang is a true professional with an expertise in treating multiple issues. His office is impeccable and a comforting place to be. I went to him for help with several needs including anxiety, insomnia, neck stiffness and support for infertility treatments. I always feel my best after my appointments and we did end up having a beautiful baby boy. Dr. Chang is a trusted medical professional who illustrates compassion, concern and patience.

It was suggested by my doctor to try acupuncture for lower back pain in which I was hesitant on doing. I have been seeing Dr. Chang for several months now and it has been an absolute blessing to have found him. Initially, he was helping me with my typical symptoms of back/shoulder pain and digestive issues. He has since helped with so much more. Since first seeing him, I have been diagnosed with lymphoma and am currently undergoing chemotherapy. Dr. Chang has helped tremendously in aiding with my treatments. Dr. Chang was recommended by a good friend of mine who is a MD. He is clearly the real deal. I tore cartilage in my hip in June, and haven’t been able to walk more than about 25 feet without severe pain. The injury also prevented me from sitting in any kind of chair for more than 10 minutes, (working from a recliner is not ideal as it may sound). After 4 visits with Dr. Chang, the hip pain is almost completely gone. I’m working at my desk again. It’s still hard to believe as I type this, but it’s true. Thank you Dr. Chang. Dr. Chang is by far one of the best doctors I have ever seen. His holistic approach to treatment focuses on the entire body and how it is all interconnected. I have been seeing Dr. Chang for months now and after each treatment my symptoms improved and I feel so much better and a lot happier. I suffer from chronic GI issues and muscle/joint pain, and Dr. Chang was able to set up a treatment plan that greatly improved my symptoms when no other doctor could before. He is extremely intelligent and professional and he truly wants his patients to feel better and see results. He also truly listens to you and really hears out the concerns that you are having. He will also teach you a lot during your session, and always tells you exactly what each acupuncture needle, cupping placement, or massage is supposed to help. I have learned so much from him about how to take care of my body. I could go on and on about how great my experience has been with him and his welcoming office environment. Id never had any acupuncture experience before, so I was a little nervous. But Dr. Chang is extremely professional and so knowledgeable about his field. He takes the time to explain what hes doing physically and how it affects you physiologically.I didnt feel pain when he inserted the needles at all. He helped me a lot with my hip. I also received the cupping treatment and was finally able to sleep through the night for the first time in a week. I would definitely reccommend Dr. Chang to those who would like to try a different approach to their health.

I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Chang. He’s the best!One year post spinal fusion I was still having chronic lower back pain. A physical therapist who was being treated by Dr. Chang recommended I go see him. As it was my first time trying acupuncture, he instantly made me feel at ease and took his time explaining the process & educating me on the science behind the treatment. After just a few sessions not only was my back pain better, I was sleeping better, had more energy, less stress & was eating better. He is kind, generous, and extremely talented and I wish every doctor cared as much as Dr. Chang does about his patients.
Dr. Chang was very professional explaining the rationale behind the treatments. His working experience as a surgeon really made him different from another acupuncturist I used in the past. He not only treated my back pain issue, but also 3 other issues that he thought they could be helpful with more needles and more time in each trip without additional charges. Treatment was very effective with a combo of acupuncture, hot pot, and massage. I have no reservations recommending others to him.
My favorite day of the week is when I have an appointment at AcuChang. Its the peaceful, calming, heated private rooms, with soft music, warm lighting, and aromatherapy that make it so relaxing. His massage tables are padded with extra memory foam which makes me so incredibly comfortable that I often fall asleep... and Dr. Chang gives you the time that you specifically need for rest and relaxation. I have had 16 treatments in the past 2 months for abdominal complications from surgery as well as anxiety. His techniques of acupuncture, cupping, massage, and pressing on the sensor points and resetting how the body functions is all completely painless and very thorough. He teaches you what he is doing and why, and these techniques can be done at home, too, to help with your healing. Dr. Chang and his wife are always very pleasant in conversation and manner. I’ve been attending services at AcuChang for about two months and it has been life changing for me! Originally, I went to Dr.Chang for acupuncture to treat a hormonal imbalance, mild pain, and weight loss. I had never tried acupuncture before and only vaguely knew what to expect. At my consultation Dr. Chang carefully explained what to expect from all facets of treatment. Meaning, he was clear and concise about what it would feel like, what the results could be, the approximate time necessary for each appointment, and he was upfront with the cost, etc. Dr Chang also explained the office practices and policies regarding operations and cleanliness. I went to Dr Chang for the treatment of chronic and debilitating migraines. I began to notice improvement after just a few sessions, and have been able to reduce medication at this point. Dr Chang is an expert at reading a body’s energy and targeting areas for improvement. He also offers several types of treatments per session, including cupping, acupuncture and massage so that when I left each session I felt much better than when I arrived. Highly recommend.

Dr. Chang is truly wonderful! I suffered an injury in February and sustained ulnar and median nerve damage. I was prescribed a medication that although offered pain relief, it significantly impacted my short term memory. I was a bit skeptical about acupuncture as a therapy but my Aunt encouraged me to give it a try. Dr. Chang has completely changed my perspective and I highly value his treatments. He reminds me often, that “it’s not magic” so he’s sure to manage my expectations about nerve damage/repair, however, I already feel a lot better and I am certain he is reducing the duration I can expect to remain in pain. Dr. Chang is an excellent accupuncturist! I have had a few visits for a persistent problem with my achilles tendon. His treatments have addressed the issue from a whole body perspective and not just the site of injury. I have had noticeable improvement and am anticipating a full recovery. From my 1st visit I was impressed with Dr Changs experience with acupuncture. He explains how cupping and acupuncture are completed and verifies you are comfortable throughout the treatments. I highly recommend him. I made my appointment due to anxiety however he is also treating my back pain.
Dr Chang was my first experience with acupuncture. I called on a whim depresate for relief from a 3 day migraine. He got me in the same day, took his time explaining everything, and spent over 3 hours doing treatment. I left there with no migraine, extremely relaxed and comfortable. I have gone back for follow up treatments 3 times now and I’m happy to report I have not had a full blown migraine since the first treatment. I highly recommend Dr Chang!

Dr Chang has been helping me a lot to alleviate my lower pain with acupuncture, massaging, etc.Being tense is most likely a contributing factor. A needle in the right placecan be beneficial to relax. The needles are not really painful. You can even relax in a very comfortable environment with very friendly people.
I would highly recommend Dr. Chang to anyone who has ever thought about trying acupuncture, there is no pain involved and he is very knowledgeable. He has been treating me for the side effects from my cancer treatments. I have had stage 4 breast cancer for almost five years, and have gone through chemotherapy twice. If you are new to acupuncture, or have been getting it your entire life, youll be impressed with AcuChang. Dr. Chang has exceptional bedside manner, carefully going through not only your chief complaint but all other issues. He spends a crazy amount of time with his patients, and his treatments are lengthy (good so long as you have the time for the appointment, but he can make them shorter if needed). He may be more expensive than other providers, but he is certainly worth it.
Dr Chang is an excellent doctor. Not only does he help relieve the pain. He teaches you how to relieve your pain at home too. I have had several back surgeries and his treatment has been the most successful for me.
I am recovering from radiation and chemotherapy for a form of throat cancer and I lost function of two salivary glands in the process. My wife went to Dr. Chang first, she was so happy with the results that she made an appointment for me. Acupuncture was a new experience to me (my wife had it done a few years ago by someone else- she likes Dr. Chang approach much better). During the first visit Dr. Chang was very thorough. He gave me the background of acupuncture and it relationship with the human body. I saw Dr. Chang for a pain in the left shoulder and neck area. So far I did two sections, and I do feel better. I do like Dr. Chang approach, and his simple explanation of how and why human body reacts to acupuncture.
I am so grateful for Dr. Chang. I urge you to turn to Dr. Chang first (as opposed to a last resort). I had 6 sessions over 4 weeks and 6 weeks later I continue to be relieved of the issues I was having. I will return, as he suggested, every 6-8 weeks because Dr. Chang treats to heal the whole person, without regard to clock time. He asks probing questions, listens deeply, clearly explains the treatments and educates about home techniques.

Reflecting on previous experience with acupuncture, I must admit I knew very little about it, until Ive met Dr Chang. With each session I grew deeper understanding about the sensory system and how everything is connected. Dr Chang spend extra time not only to explain what hes doing but mostly why hes doing it, so very quickly I felt were a team and my health is hes priority. Hes a very good listener, not even once I felt rushed during any of my sessions, moreover I felt he spend more time than I was scheduled for. I have waited to post this review Till I know for certain the treatment was truly helpful. I have had a shoulder and knee pain for the past year or so due to my daily hard training. I went for my second appointment, and today for the first time in both parts of my body I am 80% better. I will defiantly continue the treatment. I have found my new favorite Doctor. Dr. Chang is exceptional. His training as an MD and gastrointestinal surgeon as well as his knowledge and application of physical medicine including acupuncture, massage and cupping make him unique. He combines his skill with a passion and heart to help his patients feel well. I sought him out when I had problems with my eustachian tube being unable to clear while taking scuba lessons. He had that problem fixed after 2 visits and started working on a laundry list of things I considered normal for my age. Like not being able to get a full nights sleep. After my 3rd treatment, I slept from 11PM to 6 AM without waking up - something I have not done for at least 15 years. I am going to invest in regular sessions to maintain the progress I have made in 4 sessions. Everything I mention as a symptom, Dr. Chang has a plan to help and he is honest about the chance of improving that symptom. For example, at age 59, I notice my eyes and mouth are dryer than I would like. He was minimally optimistic about being able to help those symptoms. He has helped, but not cured those symptoms. His method is not cook book. I have had family members go to acupuncture treatments where the same points are needled for everyone with the same problem. Dr. Chang listens carefully to not only what you tell him, but to what his palpation of sensitive muscles and fascia tells him. He plans his treatment dynamically - on my last visit I felt we were done and wrapping up and he found sensitive spots on my arms that he treated and spent extra time making sure everything he found was treated. I am a Veterinarian with acupuncture training for pets and knew there were people like Dr. Chang in Colorado where I trained, but did not know central Ohio had such a gem. Dr. Chang is a very professional Dr. that has successfully treated my pain due to an injury, with cupping and acupuncture. I am a believer and I highly recommend that anyone who is experiencing pain from arthritis to see Dr Chang. I had been taking six to eight Tylenol, ibuprofen or Advil a day and now I do not take any of the medications. Dr Chang has given me another tool to fight my chronic pain. I have had three lower back and two fusions in my neck and a spinal stimulater to help with lower back pain. Like with treatment like this it only mask the conditions. With the acupuncture therapy my nerves leg symptoms has stopped. And with the therapy on my neck the headache and numbness on the side of my face and ear has lightened up and more flexibility when I drive looking left and right. The perpetual headache has stop. With all these symptoms gone or lighten up it makes it easier to ware a cpap at night so I sleep longer and feel better. All around I feel stronger and less stress. My sports medicine doctor advised me that I had a herniated disc in my neck and was causing extreme amount of pain due to the nerve damage. The sports MD said PT, a nerve block or surgery were my only options. A friend recommended Dr. Chang. After 6 sessions I was completely pain-free. I cant thank Dr. Chang enough. I went to see Dr. Chang because I was having severe pain similar to my husband who had two partially herniated discs three or four years ago. I saw first hand how he prevented my husband from needing surgery. We have a 12 year old autistic son who places much stress on my body as I am his primary caregiver. When I went, I was hoping to avoid becoming debilitated, but what I left with was far more.Not only was my pain diminished, but this was the best respite that I have ever had. I learned more from him on how I can control my migraines by what I put into my body. By the end of my sessions I feel overall like a better person and less migraines! I have recommended him to 2 of my friends.
I highly recommend Dr. Chang. Being my first experience with Accupuncture, Dr. Chang spent enough time explaining each treatment. I recovered much more quickly than most, following Rotator Cuff Repair surgery. His treatment rooms and office are so comforting.

After having a major abdominal surgery in October 2015, I realized that I had a whole new set of issues from my new 6 inch vertical scar and surrounding muscle and tissue that just wouldnt really heal. Post-abdominal pain! I couldnt sleep more than one hour and had other gastrointestinal symptoms (serious bloating, loss of appetite etc.). I discovered that my health insurance covered acupuncture for pain treatment and I knew that it works. Dr.Chang is an amazing listener, has a great bedside manner and is very scientific in his approach.After one visit I truly understood medically why it works and that its not hocus pocus or Chinese magic. I have used acupuncture once before to treat chronic back pain due to a bulging disc and it worked then as well 100% no back pain. After my third visit in the last two weeks at AcuChang my abdominal pain as well as other gastrointestinal issues have reduced by an immeasurable amount (+- 70%), as well as my mood, attitude, productivity and overall status. Most significant to me, is that I can sleep on my side, roll over, lift more than 5lbs, twist etc. These things I couldnt do before the treatments. I suffered for 2+ years with a drooping shoulder, neck pain and back pain. I had been to many Orthos, Neurologists, physical therapy, Chiropractors, had an MRI, XRays, an EMG and no doctor was able to connect the symptoms until Dr Chang! Excellent! I recently have had serious sciatica pain in both legs due to being in my car daily sometimes hours at a time. The improvement is phenomenal! It may take a few more treatments but after the first one I could not believe how improved!!!

Commercial business.He learned acupuncture for 2 years in AIAM in columbus and graduated in 2013.He was NOT a surgeon in China. How can a person graduated from high school and 5 years in college can be a surgeon? After graduated, he only stayed in China for one year and busy preparing going abroad. How can be a surgeon in that way? No country in the world allowed training as a surgeon like this!BIG LIER!

2022-07-08I am new to acupuncture. After seeing Dr.Chang’s high reviews, I decided to go to him to help with stress. The reviews were correct, he and his staff are absolutely wonderful. Dr. Chang goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable and explains everything he is doing to you. I would definitely recommend!

2022-05-14I have been having Acupuncture for years, but none compared to Dr. Chang’s techniques.His pre assessment was thorough and my treatment amazing.On my first visit, Dr Chang gave me a cupping treatment, an acupuncture treatment and a massage. My body felt AMAZING! This is when I knew that I was hooked and would be a regular patient.It was then thatI bought the 6 treatment package deal. That was the best money spent.Dr Chang treated my whole body inside out.The most amazing thing about Dr.Chang is that he explains my treatment to me. 2021-11-06Dr Chang was suggested by one of my medical team in the treatment of a TBI and chronic headaches and neck pain associated with my injury. His office and services are wonderful. I am always made to feel relaxed and comfortable through the entire process. Dr Change is very understanding and takes extra time to listen to my conditions and explain in detail how his treatment would work. He is understanding, kind and compassionate in regards to my questions and concerns. I was not sure what to expect from this treatment but can say that it does and is working. I would recommend Dr Chang to anyone looking into acupuncture treatment.
