These guys are fantastic! We wanted a new patio to replace the dinky one we currently had. Thomas (he is great, btw) came out and went over the options available to us and answered any questions we had, and was our point of contact throughout the process. He sent us a price quote the next day. The cost was actually less than what we were quoted for a wooden deck! After we gave them a 10% down payment, we were put on the schedule. When crews arrived a month later, they came in force in their bright yellow shirts, and worked hard for 3 days. We are very impressed with the quality of the work, and the finished product looks amazing. Cant wait to enjoy the new patio!
Very satisfied with the level of quality and professionalism by this company. Very easy to do business with. From the initial quote process, to the finished product, I could not be happier with the end result. The crew had their hands full working through an absolutely horrible bout of weather we had in early feb but the ACR team strategically attacked portions of the project in between rainfalls and left me thoroughly pleased with the end outcome. Frank, Elizabeth, and everyone I encountered throughout the entire process were a pleasure to deal with and their attention to my satisfaction and expectations were top notch. Frank and the entire team at ACR Concrete did an incredible job pouring and decorative stamping patios, pool decks, walkways and stairs at our home. The whole patio and pool area turned out fantastic and better than I imagined. Franks creativity made the front of our house POP. It was a big job and they were on time. ACR installed a new stamped concrete patio this week. The workmen were nice and professional. They answered all my questions. The color came out perfect! Frank was very responsive and worked with me to get the best color, pattern and design for my patio. I was walked through the steps of how to maintain and reseal the concrete if in the future I want to try and do it myself. I can’t wait to start enjoying the backyard on our new patio!
ACR did a great job replacing our asphalt driveway with a concrete, exposed aggregate driveway. We had several contractors quote the work. ACR was the most reasonable and had the best input on how to handle the drainage issues and how to blend the driveway color with the house and with the concrete patio next to the driveway. They were prompt, polite, hard working, informative, and we are thrilled with the results!
ACR recently poured our pool deck. We could not be happier with the quality of their work. Frank and Elizabeth guided us through the process of matching the pool deck with our existing patio. ( They poured that in 2018). Having 2 different stamped patterns made me nervous but Frank was correct and the job is complete. Its absolutely beautiful. They have a superb crew! I wish I knew everyones name because every one of them were polite, informative, & professional. Thomas kept me informed on every step of the way. This was an awesome, painless experience working with ACR concrete. We wanted to replace our existing ugly pavers with a stamped concrete patio. Concrete is a one and done, it needs to be done right the first time which made us a little nervous, but they showed up on time as scheduled and once they began it was impressive watching the process unfold. They timed the weather perfectly and completed the project on schedule with a beautiful finished patio.These guys are pros and know what they’re doing. I will be calling on them again for future projects and highly recommend them.
More than Satisfied! I spoke with Frank about stamped concrete around our pool. He was at my home first thing the following morning and sent a bid by that afternoon. Frank communicated well with my pool equipment person so the overall project would be seamless. The crew did an astounding amount of work in short order. The job was completed ahead of schedule and looks great! The attention to detail was impressive. The crews were courteous and really knew what they were doing. It really distinguishes them as experts. I will use ACR again and would highly recommend them to anyone.
Wow, I have never been happier to share a wonderful experience on-line. ACR just finished our redo to our swimming pool. I cannot say enough how thrilled I am with the entire process. Thomas, my first contact and sales person was so good to keep in touch and let me know what to expect and when. ACR did a great job with our stamped concrete porch pour and the stone facing. They are quick to respond when you reach out, and they stand by their work. Every member of the team is respectful and takes pride in what they do. ACR was able to bring my vision to life and I know it is built to last. We have used them before after having an unpleasant experience with a different company, and will use them again for future concrete work.
My wife and I had very specific ideas on our pool/ retaining wall and driveway project. We had erosion issues that also needed to be addressed as part of the project. We met with Frank, the owner of ACR, and walked through our ideas. It was obvious we were aligned from the start based on Franks responses and suggestions. His crew was extremely polite, hard working, detail oriented, and professional. The team was also very flexible and responsive when we needed extra things done (like a trench dug for a gas line). The project is finishing up today, and it has been a great experience. We would recommend ACR to anyone.
Exceptionally pleased with the stamped patio that ACR put in for us a few weeks ago. ACR was on time, and stayed on budget. They were readily available to answer questions. ACR just completed a project on my patio including stamped concrete and a new retaining wall. I am very pleased with the end result of the project and you can tell the quality is great. The team that poured the concrete and did the stamping and finishing did a great job and were very professional. Overall, I am very pleased with the work and the company and would highly recommend.
Maybe I shouldnt even rate ACR since I never got the chance to hire them, but I gave them 3 stars anyway. Their representative showed up an hour late to look at my rotting wood porch that I want demolished and replaced and said he would e-mail me a proposal. I watched for it for two days but never received it (yes, I checked my spam folder). I just assumed ACR was too busy and forgot about me. I decided to move on and hired another contractor. Then I received a voice mail from ACRs receptionist informing me that they did e-mail their proposal, as well as snail-mail a copy of it to me. A few days later, I received their snail-mail proposal but it was too late.Unfortunately for me, their price was lower than the one from the contractor I hired. I probably would have hired ACR for my job if not for their missing e-mail. Its an especially lose-lose situation for ACR and myself because I also decided on a new driveway and sidewalk. So ACR didnt make any money and Ill probably end up spending even more money than I have to.
Frank was my salesman and owner of company, he came out and originally met with me, Frank was direct with what I needed done to my patio, I had no clue as I am a first time home owner. Andre was my team leader and did more than what I expected. He was fantastic and his team worked hard. I am very happy with the results of my patio and I cant wait for a summer cook out!
We completed our stamped concrete patio project with ACR several weeks ago. The setup, pour and finish crews were all polite and respectful and worked efficiently to get our job done even with the unpredictable winter weather. Overall we are excited with the end result and look forward to finalizing our backyard in time for spring.
ACR contractors were professional and respectful of our property. They replaced our garage pad and driveway on time and when promised. The end result is beautiful. Each night they assembled their tools in one place and cleaned up our yard as best they could while working. I would HIGHLY recommend ACR!
I had an old deck and pergola torn out and a new stamped concrete patio with 2 cedar pergolas installed. Thomas and Irving were great. They came early; worked late and cleaned up the work site every time they left for the day. If I wanted something tweaked, they went out of their way to do it. They also gave me some good advice on what would work best. They were straightforward. And they even were able to start earlier than they originally expected and got the job completed on time. Love how it turned out!
My husband and I had our old asphalt drive way replaced with a concrete driveway installed by Frank and his guys!!! The whole process took less than two days! Not only were they quick but very friendly and professional. And our driveway looks amazing!!!!!! We will definitely be working with Frank again!!!!
ACR just completed a stamped floor in our new pergola, replaced some old concrete, and stained our pool deck. A contractor who does what they say they will do, and on time to work on the day they say they will be there. One of the few that we have had recently. Very professional crew and cleaned up after every day. I would recommend them highly for any decorative concrete project you need done.
They did a large, stamped patio for my neighbor and I was SO impressed with them and their work I wanted to post a review. I watched their work that spanned over several days and even got to know some of the crew. They were awesome! HARD WORKERS for sure. I can say first hand that they did an AMAZING job and despite the rainy weather, they showed up every day it wasnt raining to complete each phase of the project. This large, stamped patio they put in is the best Ive ever seen. Their work was fast and efficient and the finished product has a WOW factor off the chart. What an outstanding crew! I was in the remodeling business for 25 years. I retired and moved out of state to Cincinnati. I needed some remodeling, landscaping, and concrete work done at my new home. Since I was new to the area, I did not know the right people to call. ACR is simply the best. Weve worked with a number of contractors to do things at the office and home and ACR is excellent. From the quoting to the layout to the installation, they worked hard and made sure we were pleased. We had them install a fairly large stamped concrete patio, 48 fire pit and 12 long curved sitting wall. They were patient with us and guided us through the entire process. They worked very hard not to disturb our driveway and yard and did such a good job that within a couple of weeks, any minor damage to the grass had disappeared. We expected much more and there was virtually none. The crew was excellent and trustworthy. We had no trouble leaving them alone at the house. Whenever we returned, they had made excellent progress and were always smiling. The product, price and customer service we received were second to none. We would and WILL use Jeff and his team at ACR again. It wont be long before well have to replace our driveway and front walk and we already know who well call. If youre thinking about using ACR or considering them among a group, stop thinking and hire them. Based on our experience, you will be thrilled.
I must say, this is the first review Ive ever posted so hopefully Im doing this correctly. The baby boomer in me, isnt very tech savvy. I had Frank come out and give me a bid on my concrete driveway that has been in place since I moved in my home in 1993. It was all cracked up and I could barely get the mail, let alone drive on it safely. First and foremost, Frank was on time to our appointment and went over the job in detail and what they would do from start to finish. When I selected ACR to do the job (Other competitors were not as a professional or punctual), Frank again called me and went over, start to finish, the process of how everything worked. Within 5 days, my cracked up and dysfunctional driveway was a work of art. This will add value to my home and I wont have to worry about it for the rest of my lifetime. Recently we had ACR redo our Patio, side walkway and our front walkway with stamped concrete. They are great to work with and keeps us informed about things we need to know about. Everything looks great and we are very happy with the final results. Makes us more excited to hang out at our patio.
ACR installed a decorative stamped concrete patio for me last fall. The company was very knowledgeable and the quality of the concrete was great, but the slope of the patio itself was a little greater than I would have preferred. The owner contacted me personally after the job was finished and after learning that I wasnt 100% satisfied, had his guys come out and completely redo the patio to ensure I was happy with the product. Not many companies (actually no other companies that I have ever dealt with) would demolish a recently installed patio due to the slope and replace it completely in order to ensure a customers happiness. I think it speaks volumes to the integrity of this business and its commitment to customer service. ACR went out of its way and didnt even turn a profit on my business to ensure I was a satisfied customer. This company truly cares about the quality of its product and the impression it leaves on the community. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for concrete work. I couldnt be happier with the professionalism of ACR, the responsiveness of the customer service, and the quality and look of the finished stamped concrete patio I now have for my home.
ACR Decorative Concrete provided a patio such that our neighbors could not believe it was concrete. The ACR crew was hard working, professional, and friendly. They took great care to minimize any disruption to the surrounding yard areas. Very focused on the customer wishes. Changes were made as needed and price adjustments made quickly and fairly. No surprises. We plan to have them overlay our covered porch to match.
I used ACR for a large stamped concrete patio, retaining wall and fire pit project in the summer of 2017. The end result was beautiful, high quality and has held up very well. As with any large home project, there were a few bumps in the road along the way, but ACR was very good with communication and resolved all issues promptly and to my satisfaction. ACR’s work crew could not have been more professional or nicer to my family. Jeff, the project manager, was excellent to deal with. Frank Zibell, the owner, got involved when necessary and was very hands-on with my project and made sure any issues we had were resolved timely and to my sanctification. Recently, I emailed ACR about some minor repair work (expected wear and tear for a project of this nature) and Frank Z called me personally and sent a crew out to fix it at no charge even though the warranty had expired. 5-star service! Overall very satisfied with ACR’s product and service. Would highly recommend to others.
We hired ACR to pour our stamped patio. We had a hot tub already in place before they came out. We asked if they could move and they did before the work began. They did great work with our patio with the exception of our power line for our hot tub. Without even talking to us they buried half of our box that housed the power lines. I had to break the box to get into it and rework the entire set up, costing me more money. When the representative for the company came out for final inspection I told him about it. He shrugged his shoulders and basically said oh well. This was very unprofessional for a company of this quality.
We used ACR 11 years ago to redo our front walkway and steps with a stamped pattern concrete overlay on existing surfaces. They were very professional and did an excellent job. We ran into some issues several years later and ACR was quick to come out and repair the problem. We currently use them to reseal the walk & steps every other year. If we have any concerns, they have been quick to get over to our house to rectify.Lots of companies do good work, but only the best are also quick to rectify concerns when something is is right. Thats ACR.
ACR Concrete just finished a fabulous concrete view patio with sitting wall as well as adding to other smaller areas of our existing concrete. They kept us extremely well informed on each stage of the project - no surprises! AND - We cant rave enough about how terrific EVERY ONE of their contractors was! Kind and courteous, highly knowledgable and attentive to detail, hardworking, and willing to take the time to answer all our questions .... its hard to find contractors with as much experience and professionalism these days. I worked with Jeff and Frank both on my back yard patio. When weather delayed the project, it was always communicated by email or phone call. Jeff started my job with foreman Andre. The set up was completed in one day, great clean up and the lay out was exactly what I envisioned. The pour team were very fast, polite and detail oriented. Once the patio was finally sealed, it really popped and looked exactly as I would hope. Recomend to all my friends and family.
Totally upgraded the value of my home. Was very skeptical at first but after speaking to some of their references, I was sold. The process was very easy and pain free. I have to admit I did get a little short fused when my project was pushed back (due to rain) but my wife reminded me that ACR cant control the weather. We had a concrete stamped patio installed in late November 2016. Very professional and easy to work with and I was able to see samples of the different colors and styles at their shop in Maineville prior to making our decision. Spent almost $10,000 on a patio and a veranda.... They didnt slant the veranda and its now falling apart due to water damage. When I called, they sent someone out to look at it.... Told me it was done incorrectly and needed to be fixed but then never came back, wont return my calls and has been blowing me off for over a year now.....
ACR installed our concrete patio. While they did good initial work, they never applied a surface finish, and there was also a small swale that created a puddle after rain. We contacted them and were told to send photos, which we did, but got no response. I then called and asked for someone to come out and provide a cost estimate (it was past the warranty), and they took our information, but again, no visit or return phone call. (Come on, we live only two miles from their office!) After several more vain phone calls, they emailed us and said that they didnt need to visit, couldnt do anything about the swale, but quoted a very high figure to finish the surface. I ended up applying a finish myself. So: three stars for the original installation, docked two stars for the horrible follow-up service.

2021-10-19We have been an ACR customers for over 25 years. Frank and his concrete professionals have always been a pleasure to work with. We have never had any problems with any of the projects they have done for us and that says a lot. When we wade the decision to put in a pool we spoke with several local pool contractors and we were unhappy with their proposals. Then we called ACR to ask if they would put a gunite pool in for us. They asked what we expected and went right to work for us and this was during the Covid pandemic. The process was easy and they were able to get supplies that the other pool contractors weren’t able to get. The ACR team knew what they were doing and we never had to worry. We are very happy with our beautiful pool.If you are thinking about putting in a pool and want to work with a professional, polite and honest pool contractor ACR is the contractor you are looking for.Brian & Karen Brewer

2021-04-19We have just completed the installation of our in-ground pool by ACR Concrete. We designed the pool to fit into a specific location in our yard with the help pf ACR and Frank Ziebell and could not be more pleased with the outcome and quality of their work. The ACR team was professional and detailed oriented in every phase of the construction from the excavation, the forming, the pour, the stamped concrete decking that ties into the house and existing walkways, to the plastering. The yard was excavated to a final rough grade that made the final finish seamless. Bill did an amazing job on the excavation and yard drainage. Jimmy did a great job on the concrete work and the stone work on the water feature wall was outstanding. Mike Rinehard handled all the plumbing and equipment as well as many other aspects of our project and did an unbelievable job. The crew was on site all day everyday and worked diligently to complete our project well on schedule. I would recommend ACR to anyone as a result of the job they did. Steve and Cindy Morris

2020-07-20ACR just completed our patio behind our home. It is stained and stamped. They did a wonderful job. They were pleasant, profession, courteous and cleaned up after themselves in a way that just amazed us. I have never had such a pleasant experience with a contractor and their work is absolutely impeccable. 2021-04-02ACR concrete was recommended to us by our pool company. From the first time I called until the finished product everything went smoothly. ACR, sent an associate out named Thomas Laberge who listened to our ideas/design about our upcoming pool project. Thomas was a wealth of knowledge. His expertise and insight helped us improve on our initial design and we could not be happier with the way it turned out. Thomass communication with us on the schedule and the process of the job was excellent. He was on the job site day one and went over all the details with us and even recommended that we add pillars due to the slope of our yard and how much build up would need to be done to stabilize the concrete. After prepping our yard and getting the forms set, there was a bit of a weather delay, but Thomas always kept us in the loop with their schedule and when they could complete the project. The project was done on time and as I stated before looks better than we expected. We had a fiberglass pool and the stagmeir cantilever forms left a sticky residue on the pool ledge. I called Thomas to ask his recommendation on how to remove the tape residue and he sent out a crew member the next day to take care of it. If you are looking for a great company to work with, I would highly recommend calling Thomas Laberge and the ACR concrete team. You will not be disappointed.

2020-05-02ACR Concrete just completed a sealing job of the exposed aggregate concrete on my patio, front walk and pool deck. My experience was fantastic! I couldnt be happier with the way it turned out. I did not have the same experience a few years ago with another concrete company. ACR completed the job exactly on the timeline that they gave me. Thomas explained in detail every step of the process. He was so careful and meticulous with the cleaning and the seal application. The concrete looks like it did when it was brand new. I will be using ACR Concrete for all of my future projects!

2017-04-24The crew at ACR just completed a big project for my wife and I at our home near Amberley Village. We discovered our nearly 900 square foot deck had severe structural and rot problems and the covered porch off the back of our house was nearing collapse. I had two goals when I replaced the deck, I wanted the replacement to be beautiful and I wanted it to be the last porch I had to put in. These guys absolutely delivered!The team from the start communicated clearly, always called if there was going to be a rain delay, and werent afraid to ask questions to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. They handled change orders professionally and with very fair pricing. The crews were always knowledgeable of the process and were not afraid to dig in to fix problems as they crept up. Supporting the roof of my house while digging out years old problems from the covered porch was no easy task but they didnt hesitate at all.The crews also took great care to protect my yard and the rest of the property from damage during the pour. They laid down plywood on the yard to make sure the buggies didnt tear up my lawn, they swept up after themselves, and when the project was complete my yard and driveway were all put back in order. I can not recommend this company enough. We will be having them back to take on some additional projects.

2020-04-05I reached out to have ACR clean and seal our pool deck and sidewalks. Frank remembered the property from the install back in 2001. They quoted by the next day. Thomas arrived and in the process of three visits did a really great job. We even had a issue with the landscapers compromising the cleaning process and ACR was great about cleaning again to make certain it would not compromise the final sealing. 2019-09-06We contracted with ACR Concrete in the spring to do a stamped concrete patio and some walkways on our property. Jeff and his design team assisted us in choosing the perfect layout, pattern and color for our patio. Given the very wet spring, they still managed to get to our project in a timely fashion. Once we were on the schedule everything went very fast.The project manager and his team were all very courteous and professional. They were happy to answer my questions as the work progressed, asked for my input on a couple of small details to make sure we were on the same page, and explained the steps they would take to complete my project. They made every effort to complete the work with careful attention to detail, even paving a walkway through a small garden right between two plants that I asked not be disturbed if possible. They were so careful they didn’t even have to move the pole that holds my bird feeder.Upon completion of the project they made sure I had all the information I needed regarding the care of my new stamped concrete. They answered my questions and made sure I was happy with the results. They kept the worksite clean, no soda bottles, snack wrappers or any other detritus left behind.We are very happy with our home improvement and highly recommend Frank, Jeff and the crew of ACR Concrete.
