Great place to shop a little pricey but always have what your looking for and very clean
I regularly shop several Acme locations and love the store. However, on New Years Eve, I stopped into this location to grab some groceries. Of all times I didnt pay attention to the cashier bagging my groceries, this was a HUGE mistake. He put frozen food with hot food. A 4 pound bag of sugar with bread. Please have a refreshers course on bagging groceries with him.
Not sure why people are giving this place a bad rating. Great selection. Friendly staff. Well stocked. Wonderful hours, too, which is refreshing for the area.
Going downhill. Not enough cashiers, no baggers, empty shelves, high prices, rarely good sales anymore. Everything you expect from a quality store no longer exists here.

When entering store,could smell chicken cooking, smelled great, had to buy some, tasted as good as it smelled, lady at counter very nice!

Beautiful clean store. Lines were really long for checking out. Not my regular store so Im not sure if thats a problem on a regular basis or just staffing issues because of the covid thing. GO BACK TO WORK people!!! Lots of businesses seem to be having staffing issues now. Well everyone wanting to change things up, now is a good time to try something new.
Ive shopped here for 10 years and the produce is terrible. Generally not worth your time to even pick through.Also, often sale items dont ring up correctly so it can be hard to tell what something really costs.Staff is pretty good...a lot of high schoolers in and out so service can be hit or miss but generally its been great. Long time staff is amazing.
I prefer to shop at Acme, I trust what I buy there will be fresh.
If I could give this pharmacy ZERO stars I would. The pharmacy wait times for much needed prescriptions are absolutely insane. I waited hours for a call back for a refill on one of my prescriptions and at that point I waited until the next day to pick them up. Yesterday I picked up a prescription and realized there was only HALF of my normal 30 day supply so I came back today 10/01/2021 and brought up this issue (I had already spoken to my doctor who sent through the full amount & my insurance covered the full amount) and was greeted with a snide remark about how I only take half the dose so I was given half the amount. Not true lol I take half the dose TWICE A DAY. This woman literally tried to argue about it with me. Mistakes happen and I’m understanding of that but don’t argue with me when you’re the one who made the mistake. I’m also very patient when I can see they’re busy. I’m not a pharmacist so of course I don’t know why it takes a long time so I try to be understanding when it comes down to the wait times, but come on? It should never take hours for 1 bottle of medicine and I’m over it. Work on your insane wait times & have a sit down with some of your technicians about their posh attitudes.
Close and convenient. Trying to get help without attitude at the self check out has been challenging.
They have been going downhill for a while now.....was the only place I shopped for many years.....whoever took over the business is not too good at it....

One of my preferred Acme locations. A very well maintained grocery store, with none of the fancy frills and gimmicks so many stores seem to be adding.Very large deli and prepared foods counter. The fried chicken is excellent!Nice bakery with fresh products.Large produce section.Small meat counter, but there are a number of fresh proteins.A large liquor section in the store that carries a really good selection.I find the pricing to be very high and thats why Im rating 4 stars.
The food items we needed were not on the shelves. Maybe it was my wifes timing.
First time Id ever been to Acme. Really nice employees, helpful. Thought I was going to see the Coyote making purchases in yet more attempts on the Road Runners life. LOL.

The current staff is pretty good. I mostly interact with the cashiers. The store is pretty clean and over all has decent product selection. Why three stars? Their produce is absolutely terrible, verging on garbage sometimes and it isnt even inexpensive. I dont know if the produce manager is just buying bottom of the barrel stuff or doesnt know what product rotation is (I suspect a little of both).
Its depressing. Shelves are bare. No carts..several people I talked to are saying the same. On a good day there are 3 cashiers plus self checkouts. I hate seeing this happening. Breaks my heart.

Got in fast was disappointed at their pie selection compared to other Acmes, which was my primary purpose. They had quite a few Marie Calendars but only 3 Edwards. Check out was quick.

I love Acme! The sales on pop are great! The bakery is is awesome, my little one loves to pick out his own donut! They have so many things on sale and the food club brand is excellent you cant beat the prices!
The only place I love to shop !! The only downfall is they hire the younger crowd outta high school and some of them need to work on their customer service skills
This is a great in and out grocery if you come at the right time of day. They have a good deli as well and their wraps are very tasty. Also they carry my dogs favorite chew treats.

Usually this Acme is my go-to as it is close and convenient, however for the last 6 or so months everything on their shelves has been expired. Even to the point where some things are MONTHS past expiration. I have had to return several items after getting home and realizing they are no good. START PUTTING OUT FRESH FOOD ON YOUR SHELVES AND STOP SELLING THINGS THAT ARE EXPIRED!!!

Better then Acme 1 and they do not make you go to another register when the cashier has been watching you standing there with a cart of groceries 20 minutes and tells me go get in another line he is going to break. Needless to say, I walked out and went to Acme on East Ave and was treated like a Princess and they did not pull any funny business at all. I was also shocked at how rude, disrespectful, and down right lazy the new kids on the block are today. What really made me upset is Fred Albright had been a family friend for decades and he is the one who stole my Grandmother from Portage Country Club to be his bakery chef (until her retirement) before Acme 1 was even built and to see such disrespectful individuals representing Acme 1 and then treating loyal life long shoppers like garbage really makes me sad 😥.

I love this Acmes selection of Vegan and Vegeterian foods. Just behind the vegetable section they carry many varieties of milk. Oat milk , Almond milk with several flavors. I Prefer the Almond with Bananas. They offer salads like tahini, couscous etc. Sometimes the vegetables arent supper fresh just be sure to check them. They also offer organics. The store offers many meat options and breads bagels cakes etc. at the instore bakery. The Acme is always clean! They do use separator at the checkout. There is also a place to buy flowers and balloons. When you walk in both side of the aisle is filled with sale items. The staff is friendly and helpful. Im thinking the selection is so diverse because of the area that is served....Green.

Overall, the store was laid out very different than most grocery stores. While it was easy to find everything I needed, the store was very long which made things very spread out. Store was not the cleanest and prices were higher than I expected which contributed to the 4 star. Employees were very nice and helped me to sign up for the rewards card quick and painless for my first purchase there. Definitely will go back if I find myself in the area and need groceries. Very good selection of products too.

We used to love shopping here. The workers are so friendly. We have started shopping other places because their meat department has gone downhill. The meat isnt packed very well and everything drips. The meat wrapper has enough blood/juice in the packs that its like soup. Used to go to Acme just for their meat. So dissatisfied now.
I love this Acme location. Its my go-to grocery store. I thought I lost my phone in the store one day and a lady at customer service called it to help me find it. Which I did! On another occasion I was looking for a particular kind of liquor to make a cocktail recipe. I asked what appeared to be a higher-up manager, he was very knowledgeable and quickly showed me where to look. The staff is very helpful and courteous, and they have nearly everything I need on a weekly basis as someone with dietary restrictions (dairy free and gluten free).
Visiting from out of state- seems nice but you couldnt use the self checkout? Security reasons was told because we didnt have their discount card...wierd!
Store is very clean and well set up. Employees are pleasant. Food is decently priced if you use your Acme card and look for sales. Only complaint is that they frequently do not stock an item that I want.
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff, good meats, good bakery, fast checkout, convenient for quick trips.Cons: Very frequently completely out of sale items only a few days into the ad cycle. Coffee creamer availability is hit or miss. Advertises different flavors of rotisserie chicken, but does not make them. Produce is very expensive.
Nice employees but way too over priced. And I lost my phone and they were closing and when I went back the manager wouldnt even open the door to speak to me let alone let me try to find my phone. But I called and talked to the night shift guy and he looked for it and found it right away.
Great place to shop. Love their meats. Beer Selection is great. Love that they have a liquor store as part of their store. Its a one stop shop for most things.

Great service. We went there for a flower arrangement in their floral department and got excellent results. Terrific layout of the store. And I found items here I could not find anywhere else. The prices are very reasonable. Just absolutely awesome
I dont get much out of this deli, but went today to get some jojos. stood there for over 5 minutes with 4 ppl behind the counter and do you think 1 person would wait on me. had to go to giant eagle to get what i wanted. its sad, this is the 3rd time this has happened to me. i spend alot of money in this store. i will go to a different place for the deli goods from now on.

Yes this is my go-to grocery store. I believe everybody knows about the meat that they have on sale. Can get rather crowded. If I ask my girlfriend to go to the grocery store she knows where were going. I would probably go to any Acme. This particular one her location is closest to my home. The store has a novelty of a giant fish hanging in the entrance way. And it has a place to buy fishing lures. I like the uniqueness. Just take one look at Acme in green and you can see the uniqueness of the store.
Weve never had any issues with our trips to Acme (usually this location) Theres very friendly staff especially the one from the deli dept. I asked him for a paper towel to dry off the kids cart with the car attached because it had been out in the rain.. he brought me a big roll and when I went to grab it he did it for us. He didnt stop there though.. he came back with a piece of cheese for my son. Its the little things like that, that will keep us coming back.

Stopped to purchase flowers on the way to the cemetery. There was no one in the florist area, however, one of the cashiers invited me over to their station. I appreciated her help.
Really should put 5 star. They are clean, organized and the store manager came and helped me find navy beens . Now thats taking care of your costumer. Little pricey for me but better prices then Giant Eagle .
Always can find great deals
Im never going here again. Ive been a loyal customer for many years and I dont know what happened. Everytime I go there for the past several months, the employees are incredibly rude and then they make it a point to tell their customers that their management is bad as well as argue amongst each other in front of customers in check out how one isnt doing their job and calling each other lazy. Then I pay with my card and the cashier didnt even so much as glance at me the entire time and hands the receipt to my husband that was already hands full when Im standing right there wondering why she didnt just hand it to me? Im the one that swiped the card!
The produce is always great, the wine and beer selection is ample, the sales are phenomenal. We love their meats, too. The organic section is growing. Whether a quick hit or a long shopping trip, I find Acme has everything I need.
Its true that u get what u pay 4. The fresh food IS fresh. The prices r a bit high but worth the little difference 4 the selection & freshness. The employees Ive had contact with r helpful & instead of just pointing in a direction if u ask where something is, the show u, if they have x.
For starters the liquor is located convienently dead center of the store so that you cant miss it walking in if your day has directed you to that intent. If life itself hasnt persuaded you to entertain the liquor section yet then atleast the assessability from all angles of the store allows access for whenever the stress from the darn grocery store and/or its prices have finally pushed you.
My family and I went shopping here its a nice store and very clean but customer service was horrible. After putting our stuff on the line our laundry soap exploded in line on the floor so the cashier checks out the person in front of us then she turns her light off & WALKS away, she didnt even say a word. So we stood there waiting thinking she was coming back but nope so we had to yell for someone else to come clean the mess & grab all of our stuff to wait in another line.
Better than Giant Eagle as far as fresh produce and prices. I wish they would get some more vegetarian/vegan friendly foods.. they dont even carry tofu. 365 is my number one store since they were built but Ill still frequent Acme for items that WF doesnt carry.
Convenient set up of store. Quick easy access to all departments upon immediately entering the store. The design set up leads you to all departments as soon as you stroll in. They properly utilized all space. Great selection of meats & produce that meets all budgets ranging from high end cheeses & cuts of meats to cheap prepackaged lunch meats. Great selections of healthy foods to those processed snacks we Americans have conditioned our Little Ones to Love (what have us American Parents been thinking?)I drive the extra distance to get to this Acme Store because of the pleasantries and conveniences offered here. All I can say is check it out once and you’ll see why I’ve made myself a regular. I’ll see you there with a full cart.
Great produce friendly staff
I have been patronizing Acme No. 2 since childhood. Store is always clean. Wonderful selection of beer and alcohol. Gluten free section is sufficient. Many hard to find items in their special sections. Can be pricey. Watch local mail for sale ads to save.
Mixed results with curbside. The substitutions are sometimes mystifying. Going in the store, early hours has been good however. Shelves are stocked and its not crowded.
Always clean. You can always fun an associate close by for questions or help finding things. Their deli selection is great. Their meats arent all glued together. Their milk and meats are always fresh
Grocery store not much good or bad
I love shopping at this acme its so clean and everyone that works there is so friendly ....due to the extra cleaning of the baskets and carts etc...I came in yesterday to get a few things and grabbed a basket and went to the checkout and realized the I had bleach marks on my pants from the basket ...again I appreciate and thank you for all the extra precautions everyone is taking in cleaning ....thank you for everything your doing.
Today our family got a dozen yellow roses from Acme for customer appreciation! What a surprise yesterday was my birthday and I had spent it in the hospital. This made my week. Thank you for being in our communities!
I felt like i was being followed around the whole time like they thought I was there to thieve or something i was appalled. They do have good sales weekly and i live across the street. Had been a while since ive been in an acme and i lost my card they werent very nice about me using anyone elses card and the process to get a new one from what i understand would have taken a significant amount of time.
Dont trust the freezers there.
I hate shopping here any more always find outdated items. Produce is hit or miss sometimes good sometimes not good! Service is so so. People dont know how to pack a grocery bag so I do it myself most of the time. They act like they are going out of their way for you. Only shop there cuz its close by
Sorry but this place has gotten redickulas, their prices are so high. I hate that its the closest grocery store to me. Plus the other day it was a mess stuff all over the floor and the shelves were empty, empty boxes everywhere. I think there is no excuse for that mess I saw. And lots of times i will buy stuff without looking at the date and find out later its out dated.
Great bargain prices!!!! I was 9n a tight, limited budget I was able to move through the well maintained, labeled aisles with such ease. Not to mention I got everything on my list with some money yo spare
Generally well priced sales and the staff has always been helpful and fair when issues arrise. Where they shine is the pharmacists and pharmacy staff. Everyone in that department has always been friendly, kind, helpful, and gone out of their way to help my entire family in some fashion or another. On top of that they have a nice rewards system in place, for every 10 prescriptions you earn a $10 coupon for groceries.If I had one criticism its more for the corporate folks than this store. Its past time to update your point of sale system. If a complicated enough issue occurs at the register the customer ends up at the help desk where they have to scan essentially the entire purchase again. Either get on those upgrades or get your cashiers the training they need to fix the issue or have enough staff onhand to help them when a problem comes up. That being said the cashiers are generally careful and avoid these issues when possible.

The store is clean and has a good selection of products. Isles wide. Deli is great and always full. Hot deli is always fresh and great.
Nice store. If you want/need alcohol, you have the pick of the litter here. They have an entire section directly in front of the entrance. Quite a few of the people who work here are rude, but that seems to be normal for almost every Acme Ive been to, with the exception of the Massillon road one.
With all of the new employees in the pharmacy I switched to Walgreens Im tried of not getting half of the medications that were called in!!!!!
Acme Fresh Market in Ellet clearly is posting the mandatory wearing of masks sign on their door for summit county but is NOT doing anything about people walking in and around the store without masks. I will NOT shop at Acme in Ellet if they dont enforce what has been put in place to help protect people! Even after asking the cashier why theyre not enforcing the issue, she said...we have to wear them to protect you but I dont know what the rule is for you guys.If Acme doesnt care... then I dont care to spend my money there.

I honestly only shop here because its close to home. Ive purchased bag meat from this location twice and they must freeze their 2lb bags of baby carrots because they always have a ton of water in them and have a rubbery texture after about two days.

Well I am particularly atracked to this store in Ohio because my oldest daughter is bakery manager. The store is spotless and the staff are very friendly plus the prices are very reasonable.
When the word SUPER MARKET comes to mind we all ways think of ACME stores, good prices, GREAT sales along with excellent customer service,locally owned and operated with a very wide selection of products and services makes this a MUST stop.
I am 21 and my wife is 22. I had my ID and she didn’t. They make it a big deal About me buying wine that she wanted. The manager’s lame excuse was the state makes them card everyone in the group. Well giant eagle, Walmart, target, etc. don’t card everyone. So I will be shopping at giant eagle now. Thank you acme for the poor service that you provided.

Nice Acme Store. One of my favorites. Convenient to access from Canton road or Hilbish. I get frustrated when its time to check out here, though. There always seems to be and shortage of cashiers around 3 pm when everyone is trying to get in and out fast.
No real customer service.
They NEVER carry enough Mountain Dew Code Red when Pepsi products are on sale. I always have to get a rain check! Then they never have the right quantities available for the sale, for example, the sale is 3 for $10, limit of 9. When you go there, they are only 4 on the shelf! WTH? THIS HAPPENS CONSTANTLY AS DOES THE UNDERSTOCKING OF THAT PRODUCT!!
To be honest this is my very first time going to Acme the store was clean the food was fresh but in my personal opinion the prices were a little high I had a low steroid shot on some of the things Ive purchased I do recommend if youre looking for anything it seems they have about everything you can think of to eat and I did buy steaks there and they were delicious course it might have been the cooking haha that was me anyways they do have about everything you want they do have a card for discounts as well I recommend you get the card if youre going to shop there because the savings are considerable with a card compared to it without one they also have a barber shop inside voted akrons best barber shop I did get my haircut and they did an excellent job and it only cost me $12 plus the tip check it out Im sure youll like it

The pharmacists there embarrassed me on purpose out loud bashing me bc I was on Medicare and the manager did nothing. It was my sons anti biotics I was trying to fill and she refused to fill them so I had to go to Walgreens. I called her out as to way she was talking to me about welfare insurance and she refused to fill his meds he has strep throat and a 101 fevor and no one did anything about it. A lady in line behind me also complained about her and nothing was said to her by management. Will never shop there again.

The store its self is ok but the clinic is horrible. The ppl there told me I had bed bugs when no one in the house had a rash cept me. Then they kept asking me if I slept somewhere else nope had company nope then they where like yep its bed bugs. Like how asnine can u be. Then they where like oh I forgot to listen to your heart n lungs. Save the hassle on these med school drop outs. Go to CVS or the hospital

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The people who work here are racist and disrespectful. Not to mention they do not handle alcohol correctly and when I questioned the manager Kevin about it he proceeded to tell me that they pretty much let the staff do what they want. That being said Nathan, a bagger who refused to sell my fiance beer because he decided to double card us while he had his ID in hand had obviously never been trained on what the criteria was to refuse a sale. This place is a joke.
The Manager John is a Jerk! He does not care that the employees have families, he does not work with the schedules due employees having kids! He is rude, and I feel sorry for his employees that have children. He also gives dirty looks to his employees that are there doing a great job, and working their buts off. He should not be a manager! Get someone else in there that cares about families! I hope someone higher up sees this, and contacts me, cause I have some things to say!!

Unlike other grocery stores where they habitually under staff the checkout area, this Acme does a great job at making sure they are really working the registers and getting people through. We have yet to have an issue with the produce and they are constantly having sales.

This is a review on the expresscare clinic. I went in there the other day to make sure I didnt have strep throat, I was sick with the flu and just wanted to be checked out. The reseptionist was rude, and not helpful and the nurse practitioner was a joke. She hardly did anything to find out what was wrong with me, or to find out what was hurting. She did do a strep test, basically stabbing me in my swollen and hurting glands to get a sample. She had asked if I had vomiting or diarrhea and I said no she said what you have is not the flu, the flu is high fever, vomiting, and diarrhea she then proceeded to write me a prescription for an allergy pill!!! I had just spent the past 4 days in bed with a fever, chills, aches, headache, cough, sneezing, sweats feeling like I was hit by a train, which are the symtoms of the flu, she never even asked me about those things. Because according to Cheryl Belopotosky, nurse practitioner at expresscare clinic, I did NOT have the flu I had allergies. All around both people were unprofessional and I will never go back there and will make sure anyone I know doesnt go there either.
Fast service and very friendly cashiers. Also have Express checkout for 12 items or less where you only touch your stuff.
Its a grocery store. They dont have all the things that bigger chains do but what they do have is always in stock and the store is always clean.
Pretty good Acme, definitely needs redone like the others though. Not to sound like an alcoholic but the Tequila selection really needs some help. No Sauza blue (the one with 100% Agave) and the only Hornitos is gold. Most of their 100% agave tequilas are missing the silver variety.
Not a bad store. Just irritating when you have to bag your own groceries when their is a bag boy standing next to you. Doing absolutely nothing but talking to the cashier.
Nice store. Plenty of variety. Love the atmosphere. Great cashiers. The only issue is Acme is often too expensive for the lower class like me.
This store is always well stocked and organized. Their prices are very reasonable (especially when what you need is on sale).
Prices were severely raised during the height of the pandemic. They have lost me as customer of over 35 years.
Meat is good but prices on everything are so high!! Compared to giant eagle

This is my least favorite of the local Acme stores. The layout is very old and the location is weird to get into. They really need to work on the produce at all of the Acme stores in general. This store needs updated badly. They need to find some way to compete with Giant Eagle locally or face the eventuality of going extinct.

I love Acme. They have good selection and a full bakery, deli, produce, and state liquor agency. Great sales for a local store as well.

Weve been struggling to get certain things and they forget to pick things up when ordering grocery pick up.
Sale prices on items are good. Rest of the normal prices tend to be a little bit higher than other stores
A nice, smaller grocery store. They have a nice selection of items and the prices are reasonable. Make sure to check the weekly ad for good sales.

This location lacks variety like the bigger ones but still good for your basic needs & meats.
I come here a couple times per week and have never had any issues. Things are always stocked, the people are always friendly, and overall this place is great.
Convenient, fast check out but watch you get charged correctly for your items and that they deduct for coupons.

2022-05-26Never in my life have I seen a store that makes it so difficult to actually give them money. They have self checkouts that no one ever uses because they make you sign up for their credit card in order to use them, otherwise you will have to use the single register they keep open with a line that wraps around the store. Had to wait 10 minutes to pay for 3 items that took 20 seconds to pay for once I got to the front… it’s like this every time I come here, faster just to drive to another store…

2022-06-21I boycotted Acme for two years because they never delivered the flowers I ordered for my Dads funeral and even charged me for them. My Dad even worked for Acme. I went to this location and ordered a pound buffalo chicken lunch meat and they gave me half buffalo chicken half regular chicken. Didnt notice until I got to the regular chicken when making a sandwich. People at Acme are always so rude and seem inconvenienced. Will never shop Acme again. Too many competitors to deal with poor service.

2022-04-11This hasnt been the complaint, but will be my last. Last week got a gallon of 2% milk I took the first drink out of it an instantly got sick an puked. Today went shopping got deli cheese an took 2 bites an got sick an puked.. This from way before has happened everytime Ive shopped there. So Im boycotting that store. Going back to giant eagle, Marcs, save a lot never had 1 bad experience there. Ill never shop acme ever againS

2022-03-05Out of any grocery store that Ive been to this is literally my favorite I dont go to grocery stores much because I dont care for them or like the stuff that they have in them often times I go to farmers markets for me or other things but this is one of the best I will go to them at any time for anything and be satisfied and they have some of the most unfindable items they even had Taffy called abizaba from a movie called half baked with Dave Chappelle the only reason I bought it and bought two of them was to try it and know exactly what that taste was in the movie that he described to be one of his best friends when I took that first bite I finally understood what he was tasting that moment I realized it actually was pretty damn good if you like rare items that you cant find hardly at other stores anymore and the ability to request items that you cant find at other stores anymore this is your grocery store

2022-02-15This Acme has such potential and is in a convenient location for all of Ellet. But it could use an update. The layout is really strange and it’s easy to give up on what you’re looking for, or you finally find it in a really odd spot. However, it is clean, quiet, and the employees are really nice. The food quality is always good. I just recommend them reworking the space.

2022-01-02Its really nice having a place that I can walk to seeing as I cant drive. Most of the employees are really nice but within the past month Ive had two employees be extremely rude to me and I guess its not all that serious but I was being pretty friendly. I know working in customer service is stressful but being snapped at because Im not the only customer in the store because I was struggling with change or being snapped at because I asked just out of concern why the place was so busy. Ill probably just go out of my way to walk to another store from now on cause I just felt so embarrassed both times.

2022-01-27The lady from self checkout harassing people to check out there was absolutely ridiculous. Alot of people were upset over her behavior and her yelling across all the registers and not taking no for an answer. She embarrassed so many people including myself. If she is there the next time I shop, I will switch to another store. No excuse!

2022-01-08It takes longer at check out cause they no longer have packers bagging the groceries. I dont like checking out my groceries its not a save a lot or aldis. If I wanted to bag my own groceries Id go to save a lot
