They dont do work thats not needed. Honest and fair, which is hard to find now days. Have had good experience here.
I was having the worst day possible. I had my cat converter stolen from my car. I came to these guys well recommended by another shop nearby. I had no concept of filing an insurance claim for this kind of issue, they guided me throughout the process, did repairs and even gave me a ride home while I waited for my car to get fix. They went out of their way to get it completed on a Friday so I wouldn’t be without my car on the weekend.Overall, great experience, transparent and this shop has my business for as long as I’m in Columbus.Highly recommend. I’ll be back to get my oil change done with them!
I came out of work one evening to my truck spilling coolant all over the ground and overheating. The bike shop next door to me recommended this place to me so I figured I would go ahead and call. I was able to drop my truck off the next morning, they kindly provided me a ride to work when I said I was going to wait for an Uber. The next morning I got a call before 10 am with a quote for a new radiator and install that was well below most places and I will have my vehicle back this afternoon.I am so grateful to have been able to find an auto place in Columbus after moving from cleveland as I am skeptical of new mechanics and have been scheduling appointments in cleveland for my vehicle for the past two years.Thank you!

I have brought my Volkswagen Bug here Atleast 4 or 5 times. From just an oil change to brakes and pads and rotors, my latest issue was power steering hoses. They have always been fair and respectful with me, and they never do extra work and change me later like most shops do. I would highly recommend taking your cars here 👌👍
Had squeeky brakes for a couple days on a used truck I purchased. I called and made an appointment assuming I needed new brake pads and possibly rotors. They checked then out and told me they looked good, possibly just had some moisture or a little rust, but they didnt need replaced. I offered to pay them for their trouble and they didnt accept. Super impressed with the honesty and generosity of the people that run this place.
I had been taking my cars to a place in Hilliard for over 30 years. A friend and neighbor mentioned Arrow and their great service and great pricing so I decided to try them. Im so thankful I did. This family owned business really made me feel welcomed. I was given a ride back to my house by Brian, one of the owners son, and I had such a blast just talking with Brian. The repair only took about 45 minutes and I was so happy when Brian picked me back up to bring me back to the shop. By the time our 7 minute car ride finished, I felt like I had just been with a long-lost cousin. I was pleasantly surprised when I got the bill too. Much lower than what I had been paying and they did everything I asked them to do. I really liked their customer service, the friendliness of the staff, especially Brian, and their promptness of getting the work done. As I said, they made me feel welcomed and there was no pressure about wanting to do other repairs that werent necessary. Very good people, down to earth, just wanting to do a good job for a customer. I have had nothing but great experience with Aarrow. They go out of their way to take care of their customers. The facility is no frills for sure.... but I appreciate their no nonsense, straight forward service and communication. But mostly, I just think they are good people. I dropped my car off last night after hours and was waiting for my ride to pick me up. A gentleman came out just as I was putting my key in the dropbox, to lock up and he was visible concerned for my well-being. Asked if I had a ride coming, and if I needed some water (It was still pretty warm at 7pm) and then reconfirmed that my ride was on the way before he left after I assured him that I was good to go. I love this shop for a couple reasons. One, they are family owned and operated. They are friendly and reliable. Most importantly they are honest and affordable. I have taken several cars here for repairs I was quoted much higher costs at other shops. This shop will only do the necessary work and not try to do other things to make more money.I currently have a car there now and instead of just replace what I thought was the problem they ran test and determined the more expensive part I thought was the problem is not. The actual problem may be a part I just replaced and is under warranty. You cannot go wrong by going to Aarrow.
Just moved to the area and was in need of a trustworthy shop for a thermostat replacement on my truck. Was recommended to Aarrow and was very satisfied with their work! They did a great job, and I definitely will be going back for future repairs!

Needed a thermostat replaced on a Fiat 500x - They got us in fast and replaced it. The prices are very fair and service was as stated- Would definitely recommend and feel confident to go back for additional auto work when needed !
Dean and Dave are the best. They can tackle just about anything and they stand by their work. The prices are fair, and the job is done right.I have used Arrow for a number of my vehicles as recommended by my boss who has sent many cars there over the years. The work was always done right. Some days they may need to take an extra day due to having to order a part, or due to the sheer number of people who trust them to take care of their vehicles, but the job is done right and the price is right.Anything from replacing a window (which they sucked all the glass out of the door AND under the seats), to a complete overhaul, these guys are great.
We have been using Arrow for over 20 years! We have taken our vehicles there many times. They have never changed a part or performed service without calling me and carefully explaining their diagnosis of the problem, and giving us an estimate. The final bill has almost always been exactly what they estimated the job would cost. I have never come away thinking that they charged us more than what was reasonable. We definitely recommend Arrow!!
Been going here for at least 15 years. My dad always took his car here for years before that as well. There have been a few times that the fix was so easy they didn’t charge. I trust them completely and listen to their advice. They truely understand that when you take care of your customers, they keep coming back. As long as they are in business I will be bringing my vehicles here. It’s nice to know you don’t have to worry about getting upsold unnecessary parts or service like so many mechanics do. 6 Stars.
These guys are as honest as they come. I have dropped my car off and been called and told nothing is wrong with it. They could have easily charged me and made up something, but they are good to the core and do excellent work. I refer everyone I know to this place, have been a loyal customer for about 5 years.
I took an old tractor gas tank in to have the rust removed and the inside re-coated. I was worried since it was replaceable, but it turned out great and saved me a ton of work/money. Everyone was friendly and great customer service. Will definitely use again when and if needed.

I have been going to Aarrow for more than 10 years. I drop off my vehicle, and they inspect it and recommend repairs usually giving me choices. My last visit they found the problem requiring only a $50 part replacement.

2006 Acura RSX owner:Ive taken my car to a few different places over the years and just recently discovered Arrow. They are by far the best place to take your car. All the positive reviews are spot on. They are honest and will give you the best price around. One shop wanted to charge me over 1000 dollars for a job that I had Arrow complete for under 300. If you ever get a quote from somewhere else you dont like, just call this place and ask for a quote. You will not be disappointed! A++
Dave and Dean and all the great folks at Aarrow are what makes this country great. They go out of their way to accommodate their customers. They really know how to repair cars and trucks and are in it for the long haul. Meaning that they keep their cost as low as possible while maintaining top quality service. My wife and I have five children three currently are driving. We have been to so many different mechanics over the years trying to avoid getting ripped off and or lied to, we were ready to have our son go to auto repair school out of desperation. Thankfully we found Aarrow, Dave and Dean have our families business for life.
Great place to have your car repaired !!! I told them I wanted the brakes checked. They could have said it needed new rotors, pads, calipers, shoes, drums, etc, but they just cleaned and adjusted and turned the rotors and chatged me less than $200. Folks, your not going to find this at too many auto repair joints! (Dont expect a fancy-shamsy place)

Ive had the same mechanic for 20 some years. With services he doesnt perform there is a These are the only guys you want to talk to list. Arrow is at the top for a few things I know of and now I know why. Timely work, done well, at a very reasonable price.
One of the extremely few radiator repair shops left. Most automotive radiators are throw away anymore, with the influx of cheap imitation parts from China. But if you have an heavy duty, off road, or industrial radiator, give them a shot. I have taken radiators like that here since around 2007, and they have always done top notch work at fair prices.
Said there was nothing wrong with my car. Got in my car and the problem persisted until eventually my engine stopped working while on the highway. Clearly either just didn’t bother looking at my car and doesn’t understand “harder” car issues. Would recommend taking it somewhere else.
I picked up tree stakes from Dean and David for a tree planting project. These guys are always pleasant to work with. They had my order ready and helped load the items in my vehicle. Will most certainly be back.
This is a HORRIBLE place. They quoted me $280 on a quarter panel window in the morning. At 4:00 - they had ordered the piece but wasnt it. At 5:40 - Dave called me and stated the window was now $1000 !!!!I called 4 other companies - gave Dave the quotes from the other company. He said I cant help what others say - this is my price. When I said I was coming to get my car, Dave said I needed to pay him $220 for services rendered thus far. I threatened to call the police. And only then did he decide to give me back my car. When I arrived I asked to see this $1000 quote -Dave refused to show it to me. Yelled at me and told me get the hell out of my shop lady.They are scam artist and incompetent.AVOID
A friend at work recommended Aarrow to me and I’m very glad I decided to take my vehicle in. Honest and quality work at affordable prices. I will definitely be back in the future if I ever need anything else done.
These people did some welding for me on my Nissan. I had a pipe come apart before the resonator and didnt charge much at all, but work was flawless

Dean and Dave definitely know about cars and how to fix them at an affordable price. I have found them to be honest and competitive in price (mostly lower) then other shops in the area...if you need a full service mechanic give them a try.
I thought my repair would take 3 or 4 days...Aarrow had it done in under six hours! Price was fair, service was excellent. They even cleaned up their office! :) Ill be back!
Rented an uhaul truck from this location. Staff was helpful but just an old place and I believe its a family ran business so they dont care to upgrade even the lobby to provide nice customer experience. No complaint with the service but it felt little odd to be at this location for my truck rental.
Just had my rotors and pads replaced. They did an awesome job, very quick and their prices can not be beaten. This place is great!
My close friend had a cadalitic converter go bad on her toyota Hilander. They replaced all 3 and reset her computor and fixed it for 45.00 less than other shops quotes.
I needed the electrical connector on my wifes cars rear defroster reattached to the glass; the solder cracked off due to age. I tried the DIY kits without success (two of those at $20-$30 a piece). I called every glass repair company in western Columbus and not a single one said theyd try the repair. Safelite wanted to replace the whole rear glass....which means theyd have to reattach the connector to new glass, but refused to just do the connector repair!!On to Aarrow - they quoted me $60 to attempt the repair. They told me about, and I understood the risks of, attempting to solder metal connector onto glass (hot solder can break the glass because rapid heating of glass makes it explode).Long story short, they successfully repaired it! I couldnt be happier. Plus, they quoted me $100 less to replace the glass if it shattered than Safelite.
What impresses me most is their charges for repairs...so reasonable and fitting. To crown it all, they are very nice and low key people with customer satisfaction as their main goal.....quality and excellent job.

I used this location for renting U-Haul trailer. A little rustic, but convenient hours.

This will be my third time getting oil change from ARAG, usually in and out and for the price quoted. Sounds like they may be stocking 0W-20, so that eliminates my search for it!
My Transmission cooling lines were rusting out, and Midas quoted me over $800 dollars to get it fixed. Dave fixed it for me for $311. I will be back!

2022-03-03I have thrown thousands of dollars into this car. It had a severe vibration (almost a death wobble) at highway speeds. After replacing nearly the entire suspension, I was still having the same issue. I took it to Aarrow hoping they would be able to diagnose it without throwing more parts at it. Dave called in a couple hours and had pinpointed it to a collapsed brake line and calipers seized. Absolutely nothing to do with the suspension as “Parts Changers” swore were the issue. All repairs were made at a really affordable price.If you want to spend a ton of your hard earned money and not figure out the true cause, take your vehicle elsewhere.If you want it repaired right the first time and save your money, give these folks a call. They are in the business of repairing vehicles at a fair price and not of ripping people off.I will be back!!

2021-10-02I moved in nearby to this shop just over a year ago now and must say, these guys rock! I have several older cars and trust these guys to do most of the general maintenance and repair I dont have time or patience to do. I have had my A/C repaired, I have had several oil changes, a power steering pump replace, an EVAP system replaced, extra cooling added for towing, several sets of tires mounted and balanced, a windshield replaced and the list goes on and on. These guys are always straightforward and honest about their work and their prices, they will give you options on replacement parts for pricing flexibility and they will let you use your parts as well. For those of you that dont know, Dave and Dean are in fact the owners and they are both great guys, always helpful and very kind to their loyal customers. I have recommended their services to friends and family alike and all have been pleased.

When I called they seemed annoyed that I was inquiring about different issue just trying to get a price point because I heard very good things about them from other people.Being an workshop for cars not everyone knows what your employees would, please take a step back and check your attitude when dealing with a potential customer in the future.

2021-01-07Extremely impressed with this shop. Brought in my 06 Impala to have a couple things fixed or replaced on multiple occasions.They have always been professional and upfront about what my options are before making the repair. I needed a sway bar replaced as well as some front tires and did some shopping around before choosing Aarrow. They came in hundreds of dollars cheaper than anywhere else in Hilliard and fit me in that day. I knew exactly what I needed done and there was no added charges of other things that need fixed like some other shops try to do.Today, I brought my car in again for a flat that I thought needed replaced or repaired. They did the typical inspections on the wheel and tire and found no issues. I expected a charge for essentially accidentally wasting their time but that was not the case. Furthermore, if they had told me I needed a new tire I probably would have gone ahead and done it.I know none of these are major repairs but I am more than confident these guys can handle anything thrown their way. This is one of the few shops I know is run with Integrity and Professionalism above making as much money as possible when I bring my vehicles in. They have my recommendation any day of the week!

2021-06-04Let me start off by saying I have had nothing but horrible experiences with mechanics. In my experience they always try to ripping you off or they fix something on the car but it never fixes the issue so you have to pay them more money to check out the vehicle again. Ive also had several instances where something new breaks again right after. How coincidental, right?My experience at arrow was great. I spoke with Dave throughout the process of my repair for my old 1996 GMC Safari work van. If Dave is not the owner of the place hes incredibly professional and treats the shop as his own.Heres what set my experience apart! I spoke with Dave on the phone and had my van towed there. He inspected the van and gave me a complete rundown on the price and the concerns he had from the rusted of brake line. Once I instructed him to proceed with the repair he called me back after he finished and gave me another complete run down of everything they did and their problems they ran into. Ive never had any other shop be so detailed with me. The only issue we had was the final total was a about $100 more than the original price quoted because they found another damaged brake line. To be honest that didnt matter to me because in this day and age its so hard to find someone honest and willing to work hard for you. Everyone wants to take shortcuts but thats not what they do here! They have made a regular customer out of me and I will continue to come here even if I move from the Hilliard area!

2021-12-28Great. I had a small radiator leak and the mechanic gave me assurance that it was not serious enough to concern myself immediately. He described the procedure used to determine the problem adequately. I am satisfied with his recommendation to continue driving the car.
